05/03/2026: We went for lunch on February 22, 2026....what can I say.....MAMMA MIA, IT WAS DELICIOUS. We were a table of 10, and the appetizer was incredibly rich with cured meats and truffles. Wonderful wine... The road to get there is challenging because it's paved, with hairpin bends and tight curves in some places, but it's used by coaches, so it's doable. Anyway, book well in advance because it's always full. We had a wonderful time, and for how much we ate, we didn't spend a lot.

09/01/2026: I've been coming here for over 30 years, it's a great place with a very helpful and welcoming team! They always offer a complimentary digestif, the crescia is the best in Gubbio, and Isidoro & Team are perfect! The prices are very low and the atmosphere is fantastic! 5 stars

A well-established establishment with over a decade of history in the historic center of Gubbio, its culinary offerings are unlike anything you'd expect from the region. Incredibly delicious recipes, crafted with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented, along with a top-notch wine list. It was fun, enjoyable, and interesting to dine at Orto. The imaginative, high-quality vegetarian cuisine was complemented by impeccable service and thoughtful organization in an elegant and welcoming setting. Congratulations!

24/02/2026: I rarely give five stars, but here I feel like it. We went to Gubbio and, while searching, we found this restaurant. The outside doesn't match the inside. The place has been renovated and is very welcoming. It has a grill, a pizzeria, and a kitchen. I should start by saying that it was crowded and it was Tuesday lunchtime. Not being very hungry but wanting a good first course, we ordered tagliatella with porcini mushrooms and truffle and tagliatella with hare ragù. The photos speak for themselves. The food was delicious, tasty, well-cooked, and seasoned. We couldn't find a single flaw. Unfortunately, we didn't try the meats, but the ones we saw passing by looked excellent, nor did the pizza. The price? More than fair, €35 including a quarter of wine, two coffees, and a liter of water, plus cover charge, of course. The staff was extremely kind and professional. What can I say? If you're in the area, stopping by this restaurant is a must.

02/03/2026: Highly recommended, a casual atmosphere with professional service. You'll find cats and a peacock fanning its tail like on a small farm, but the dishes are well-prepared and the service is attentive. Several spaces can be used depending on the occasion: the patio, the terrace, the fireplace, and the private room. This is a good place, but it can only improve if it's careful not to lose its character. It's missing a wheelchair ramp, for example, and an electric charging station... The food really has nothing but good things to say.

09/01/2026: We stopped for a short break from our long journey and found ourselves in a wonderful family atmosphere. The owner was very welcoming and the staff were friendly. The food was excellent, the pasta was homemade and exceptional. The value for money was excellent. The special feature was the changing table in the bathroom. Not even the fanciest restaurants have one.

The owners were extremely kind and attentive: a truly appreciated gesture was offering us white truffles at the price of black truffles, a rare courtesy that demonstrates great passion and respect for the customer. The service was impeccable, professional yet warm. We had a wonderful experience in every way: the quality of the food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation and will gladly return to.

09/02/2026: We had lunch last Saturday. The place was quite busy. The staff was attentive and very welcoming. The food was excellent and the prices were very competitive. The truffle fondue was excellent! We'll definitely be back.

28/01/2026: Impeccable hospitality. We spent New Year's Eve dinner with a couple of friends and it was a truly pleasant experience. Simona and the entire staff were extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. The food was excellent, offering authentic Umbrian dishes for a truly lavish dinner: three appetizers, a surprise fondue, two first courses, two second courses, a sorbet, and a dessert—all carefully crafted and flavorful. We were particularly impressed by the attention paid to allergies: despite the busy evening, we were treated with great professionalism and even had a special meat menu prepared for us. The price was absolutely fair and the dishes were truly delicious. A heartfelt thank you to Simona and all her staff for their hospitality and the care they gave their guests. Highly recommended. See you soon!

31/12/2025: On New Year's Eve, they made us a pan of pizza without warning, which was also delicious. Number 1 for everything else, too.

22/02/2026: A very positive experience. Even though the place was busy, the quality of the food (cooking, etc.) didn't suffer. The service was a bit lackluster. They don't have a lot of staff, or at least that's what we thought. The food was good, and I'd happily return. The meat platter is recommended!

We ate inside (the room doesn't have many tables, but that only made the experience much more enjoyable). The food was excellent, with generous portions and super reasonable prices. They also have excellent vegetarian options. Highly recommended.
