02/04/2026: We stopped for lunch on our way to Orvieto. The menu changes daily and includes artisanal crescia; today it was gnocchi with ragù, grilled meat, and spinach. We also had gratinated vegetables. Everything was delicious, and the price was fair. Well done!

02/04/2026: We drove here from Gubbio for lunch. This was exactly what we were looking for. Exceptional local food, service which a home cooked rustic feel. The food was outstanding and the price was very reasonable, meat cheese tray, eggplant, beef liver pate’, three types of bread, tagliatelle with Ragu, white artichoke lasagna, bottle of water, liter of wine, deserts and espresso! 55 Euro!!!

The meat is excellent, and the wine selection is outstanding, all at very fair prices. Mirco, the owner, is the perfect “oste” and also a professional sommelier. He always recommends new labels and takes wine lovers like us on amazing tasting journeys. Definitely one of our all time favorite restaurants! 🫶🏼

14/04/2026: I had dinner during a sporting event. The evening before the Gubbio Trail Citta di Pietra, I was a guest of the organizers at this restaurant. I would like to compliment the kitchen and all the staff (which I also complimented the managers after dinner) for the quality and deliciousness of the food and the service. I recommend this restaurant. I really enjoyed the dinner, which, for me, as a non-vegetarian, was truly satisfying. I highly recommend this restaurant.

07/03/2026: At the S. Bartolomeo pizzeria restaurant, you can enjoy everything from pizza to local cuisine, and you'll be more than satisfied. Excellent value. Outdoor seating in the summer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

30/03/2026: Excellent and strategic location right in the center. I gave the food 3 stars because I ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, and unfortunately, there wasn't anything typical of Umbria.... Prosciutto, pancetta, which I also eat in Puglia, and the only specialty bread is the typical bread from Gubbio, which is delicious, but paying €40 for bread.... was disappointing for me. Despite all this, the service was excellent, very attentive and fast.

This osteria is an absolute temple of pure, traditional Umbrian cuisine, the kind of cuisine that has been passed down through generations—TRUE cuisine. It's a wonderful place, staffed by exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and flavor combinations are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and talented Chef and owner. He possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows him to craft ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful. For the owner-chef, perfection is a fundamental concept, and he strives to surpass it, ALWAYS. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. The dishes intoxicate the palate and the senses...everything is a caress for the soul. The ingredients were cooked sublimely. A tip: Umbricoli with Reggiano and black truffle. I have NEVER eaten better Umbricoli in my life! Here, the cuisine and drink, rigorously traditional, are a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that the Chef, preparing dishes unlike any other, evokes in those who enjoy them. This wonderful place is pure, more than unique, talent. Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles and infinite kindness of the wonderful Giulia, who manages the dining room service with extreme skill. Giulia's service is characterized by an above-average level of preparation, professionalism, kindness, courtesy, friendliness, and absolute precision. La Locanda del Tartufo is a continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begin with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminate in the perfection of the evolution from the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the highest-quality raw materials. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. La Locanda del Tartufo is a place where time stands still and everything becomes a dream come true. The quality of the products is probably one of the three best I've ever experienced in my life. Everything that comes from the Chef's hands is impeccable, and you'll discover unique details you won't find anywhere else. Culatello...it's so delicious! I wish I could transport this place everywhere, along with those who are part of it, to make every moment unique and wonderful. 13/04/2026: A rustic restaurant in true Umbrian style, with a simple menu but tasty, authentic dishes. The tagliatelle are excellent. I'll be back to try the chicken fricó. The house wine is drinkable and pleasant. Special mention goes to the young waiter, who was polite and quick. Recommended!
