01/05/2026: We arrived on May 1st at 12:00 PM without a reservation, hoping to eat since we were traveling. We were greeted with extreme kindness (we have a 10-month-old baby and a 3-year-old girl with us). Everyone was very professional but above all loving; it felt like we were having lunch with family. The food was exquisite and delicious. Two crescie, a ravioli, a chicken breast, spinach, and water for €40. The portions were incredibly generous. If we had spent even €20 more, I would have thought the bill was fair given the portions. Every time we pass by, we'll definitely stop for lunch. It was a great pleasure.

14/04/2026: I had dinner during a sporting event. The evening before the Gubbio Trail Citta di Pietra, I was a guest of the organizers at this restaurant. I would like to compliment the kitchen and all the staff (which I also complimented the managers after dinner) for the quality and deliciousness of the food and the service. I recommend this restaurant. I really enjoyed the dinner, which, for me, as a non-vegetarian, was truly satisfying. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/05/2026: Great selection of meats, and the quality is excellent. The Florentine steak is unforgettable. Definitely worth a visit to try the different cuts. The location isn't quite as good as the food, but the taste is what matters! The pizza is good, but a little thin for my personal taste.

It didn't disappoint; I tried the tagliatelle with truffles, delicious, paired with a nice glass of red wine. The very friendly staff and the beautiful, welcoming atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

09/05/2026: I went to this restaurant with a friend for lunch after hiking in the area. The restaurant is definitely in a strategic location, on the Flaminia road in Lugo, which connects the sea to Gubbio. A classic yet well-maintained location, with a large indoor dining room and several outdoor tables. Very friendly and helpful staff, fast service. The menu is mainly meat-based, with a diverse variety of options, and in the evening the restaurant also serves as a pizzeria. My travel companion and I were hungry, so we ordered a semi-complete menu, sharing only one appetizer between us. The flavors are very good, the ingredients are fresh, the portions are excellent, and all at a truly fair price. We were very satisfied and will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

It's a wonderful place, staffed by exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and flavor combinations are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and talented Chef and owner. He possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows him to craft ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful. For the owner-chef, perfection is a fundamental concept, and he strives to surpass it, ALWAYS. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. The dishes intoxicate the palate and the senses...everything is a caress for the soul. The ingredients were cooked sublimely. A tip: Umbricoli with Reggiano and black truffle. I have NEVER eaten better Umbricoli in my life! Here, the cuisine and drink, rigorously traditional, are a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that the Chef, preparing dishes unlike any other, evokes in those who enjoy them. This wonderful place is pure, more than unique, talent. Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles and infinite kindness of the wonderful Giulia, who manages the dining room service with extreme skill. Giulia's service is characterized by an above-average level of preparation, professionalism, kindness, courtesy, friendliness, and absolute precision. La Locanda del Tartufo is a continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begin with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminate in the perfection of the evolution from the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the highest-quality raw materials. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. La Locanda del Tartufo is a place where time stands still and everything becomes a dream come true. The quality of the products is probably one of the three best I've ever experienced in my life. Everything that comes from the Chef's hands is impeccable, and you'll discover unique details you won't find anywhere else. Culatello...it's so delicious! I wish I could transport this place everywhere, along with those who are part of it, to make every moment unique and wonderful. 05/05/2026: Nice location in the center of Gubbio. The selection of crescentini is quite extensive, but in my opinion they're all a bit dry; something creamy like cheese would be a good choice. We waited about 45 minutes for our order, but since it was a holiday, we didn't mind. The prices were fair. The waiters were young and helpful.

The atmosphere is friendly. The food is made with excellent ingredients and is perfectly prepared. If you're in Gubbio, a must-visit. Recommended!
