18/05/2025: Small inn near Piazza Grande (famous for Don Matteo). We were welcomed with an entree of crescia with oil and truffle. Wine offered by the host and homemade food of excellent quality! The staff was available to explain the dishes and give us anecdotes about what to see in the surrounding area.

01/06/2025: Today for the first time....nothing special...good food yes but not exceptional. Among the things ordered not abundant sliced ​​seasoned only with salt....no rocket...no rosemary or any other seasoning for 18.00 euros and miserable grill. Then there is no menu....no it's not good. The customer must know what he orders and for how much... especially regarding wines. I don't understand the sense of NO menu!!! I've seen young guys at work who can print the world in 5 minutes.

01/06/2025: In assenza di menù la cameriera ci elencava le pietanze, ma alla elencazione ovviamente non seguivano i prezzi, e già questo non è molto normale. Domande, sempre dalla cameriera, che stranamente vanno sul personale, ovvero se si è di zona oppure di passaggio mah... perchè? Dopo un antipasto... niente di che... prendo un primo "Crepes con funghi porcini besciamella etc.) io intendo al plurale almeno qualche crepes, mi si presenta una crepe che neanche riempiva il piatto al costo di 16 euro. Un secondo per mia moglie al quale non posso dire nulla e un paio di dolci, un vinsanto e tozzetti con una porzione di zuppa inglese al costo di 6 euro cadauna. Per finire voglio segnalare a parer mio una titolare, eccessivamente sorridente che alla fine mi presenta un conto di 70 euro.

05/05/2025: An elegant and refined restaurant in the historic center of Gubbio. The dishes are delicious, both the first and second courses, and on the advice of the staff we took some excellent wines. The dessert is not up to par with the rest of the dinner. The price for what we ate (€30 per person) is very honest. Kindness towards customers is not the same among staff members, in the dining room you should be a team player.

04/05/2025: Cena del sabato sera (con prenotazione) in questo ristorante nel centro di Gubbio, a gestione famigliare. Abbiamo assaggiato dei taglieri misti di formaggio e salumi, a seguite tagliatelle con tartufo, burro salato e caciotta, due tagliate, un tiramisù, un semifreddo al caramello salato ed una cheese cake. Un ottimo rosato pugliese da bere. Servizio celere, molto attento, disponibile e garbato. La cucina è solidamente ancorata ai sapori tradizionali, senza inutili fronzoli o abbinamenti azzardati. Le tagliatelle ed i dolci sono stati fenomenali; i miei commensali che hanno gustato la tagliata hanno trovato la carne fresca, tenerissima, cotta alla perfezione. Una chiacchierata con il simpatico proprietario/chef è stata la degna conclusione di una serata molto piacevole e rilassata. Non conosco l'ammontare del conto perchè sono stata ospite, ma i prezzi sul listino mi sono sembrati adeguati al livello del ristorante ed in linea con l'offerta della città.

06/05/2025: Great Osteria with very tasty traditional Italian meals. Several We tasted Parmegiana, bruschetta with truffles and scramble eggs. Excellent with fresh products. We then ate different pastas a l’amatriciana, with Truffle sauce, carbonara. All very good. My best carbonara from our Italian trip till now. And different desserts like tiramisu, chocolate fondant, semi fredo. Tiramisu was tasty but a bit light for me compared to other ones i tasted in past days. Semifredo was perfect. Service was very friendly. All in all i would say that such eating experience is one of the reason we are happy to be in Italy.

02/05/2025: Ate in the square, under an umbrella with a very pleasant wind! The food was very good, the pastas were all perfect, the carbonara was top!! Warm and welcoming service!!! I recommend the meat tartare!!!!

The food was exceptional: the meat, in particular, was tender and full of flavor, cooked to perfection. Impeccable service: friendly, professional and always attentive staff.
