28/11/2025: Visited during the Easter period. The hotel is beautiful, a little dated, but it fits the style of the area. The food was really good, and the service was excellent, from the restaurant to the front desk. The rooms had everything you need, but they were very basic but very comfortable. The cleanliness was good. The location was perfect, halfway between the town center and the village of Assisi, easily accessible on foot. I highly recommend it, especially for the attention to detail in managing this hotel. The price was fair. Special thanks to Gianna and Alessandro, two wonderful people.

08/05/2026: The restaurant is divided into two rooms, one for fast food and the other for dining. The view of the basilica is unique. The decor is elegant and traditional. The welcome is courteous, and the service is quick and friendly. The food is delicious. The price is very reasonable. The restrooms are spotless. I recommend this restaurant.

26/04/2026: I arrived here by chance. I was coming from Assisi, which I visited on a very busy day: hot, crowded, chaotic, a stressful day. I begin the road to this place where I had booked, I enter the Subasio Park... Suddenly everything stops, here nature bewitches you, with its silence, it makes you slow down, woods, meadows, streams, birdsong... The road to get there is already a beautiful journey, and then we arrive. A tiny, meticulously maintained village, stone houses, flowers everywhere, aromatic herbs... Lavender, rosemary. Everything is enchanting. We grab our bags and head to reception where Delia welcomes us. She sees the joy of being there in our eyes and explains where we are. The nature, the presence of the history of Saint Francis, the little churches... In a few words, she guides us through this first approach to this corner of the world. We drop our bags in our room, in true local style, and then we head to dinner. From the reception, we enter a fully glassed-in veranda, including the ceiling, warm when the temperature outside was plummeting. Breathtaking views, a splendid sunset. Warm, low, warm jazz music. We're accompanied by Giacomo, a discreet, welcoming, smiling, professional young man whose every touch fits the place with simplicity and elegance. And then dinner... Or rather, a gastronomic experience featuring the farm's products, from cured meats to wines, spirits, and dishes curated by Chef Filippo, who draws inspiration from the local area with simplicity and passion... with incredible mastery... a lavender oil panna cotta that's incredible, unforgettable! In the morning, we meet Roberta at breakfast. She fell in love with this land and moved here from Emilia. She promotes this place with immense dedication, promoting the slow way to enjoy these places, with a communication style that captivates and encourages people to stay. Thanks to her, we changed our plans and stayed to enjoy the trails, the nature, and the history. So, a must-see place with incredible staff... Highly recommended is an understatement! We'll be back, thank you so much ❤️

26/04/2026: Dinner (paid separately) and breakfast were excellent. Very friendly staff. The room we were given, perhaps intended for Wonderboxes or similar, was very small and had some dampness seeping through the walls, as it was partially underground. The setting and surroundings were spectacular.

19/05/2026: EMBARRASSING. A restaurant in the center of Assisi. We ordered two mixed salads with turkey. We received two mini salads the size of a side dish. The photos show the portion size relative to the size of a fork. I was incredulous. I asked the waitress serving us if the salad was a side dish or a main course. She told me it was included among the side dishes. NO. IT WAS A MAIN COURSE AND YOU CAN SEE IT ON THE MENU OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT. A ZERO RATING, NOT ONLY FOR THE RIP-OFF BUT ALSO FOR THE PERSON WHO SERVED US WITHOUT ASKING IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM. 24 EUROS FOR THIS STUFF. DON'T GO THERE.

03/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant with my family. I have no complaints about the location, which is central and very close to the Basilica of San Francesco. The service is really fast. The menu is short, which I think is a positive aspect regarding the quality of the products. The first courses were truly excellent and especially plentiful. The only flaw I would point out are the two platters, one of cured meats and one of cheeses, priced at €13 and €15, which were truly meager and not adequate for the price (just four wedges of cheese, while the cured meats were more varied). Even the house red wine was €16 a liter. These are prices I can partially justify given the touristy location, but there's a limit to everything.

02/05/2026: In the heart of Assisi, Osteria Santu Mangione was a wonderful discovery. The appetizer was excellent, showcasing the quality of the local produce, while the first course, the strangozzi with truffles, was truly delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and a special thanks to Paolo, who was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant!

27/11/2025: This was the most delicious restaurant I ate at during my trip to Italy. The risotto was simple yet delicious, and the scaloppine al pepe verde was impressive.

23/11/2025: Located in the center of Assisi, a few steps from the Matteotti parking lot, this restaurant is quite large with plenty of seating. Extensive and tasty menu, from appetizers to dessert, including pizza and pinsa with a variety of flavors. Very good food, generous portions, and average, yet reasonably priced. Friendly staff, good service.

21/05/2026: Traveling for work, recommended by the B&B owner. Large and convenient parking, friendly and efficient staff. Outdoor seating, extensive menu. The pizza is good, thin, and made with quality ingredients. The menu also offers attractive platters and traditional Umbrian cuisine. Excellent value.

16/05/2026: I was walking down the street, wanting to eat something, and I stumbled upon it. Some kind of spirit lured me in. Tartolinette with truffles – fantastic, white wine – brilliantly chosen by the waiter. The atmosphere was great. A charming place. It's nice there.

15/05/2026: Centrally located wine bar, with a distinctive outdoor area... Inside, the dining room is welcoming, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated... A wide selection of local, national, and international wines... The staff is friendly and very professional...

11/04/2026: We organized a spiritual retreat to mark the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis. All participants were satisfied with the service, the facilities available, and the hotel's location.

30/03/2026: The building is so basic (in the negative sense of the word) and devoid of decoration (aside from a few scattered crucifixes) that it feels like a medical facility. I could have overlooked this—although aesthetics still play a key role in a hospitality facility, in my opinion—but not the rock-hard bed and pillow, terribly uncomfortable. The breakfast, boasted to be homemade, offers many options, but all are mediocre. The only redeeming feature is the exterior, with its ample parking and garden, convenient for those like me traveling with a dog (allowed, 15 euro supplement).

24/05/2026: Nice place with private parking, nice rooms complete with bathroom with shower (only complaint, some signs of mold on the glass in the shower and the water draining a little slowly), friendly welcome, good breakfast.

22/03/2026: I stayed here with my family for one night. I'm giving it two stars only because of the beautiful facility. We may have been unlucky, but the night we arrived, the breakfast room (below our room) had been rented out to outsiders for a birthday party. There was a lot of noise, tables and chairs were being moved, and children ran up to the rooms, knocking on our guests' doors. This went on until 1 a.m., and the owner was not supervising them. We'll draw a veil over the breakfast. I don't understand the 10/10 reviews for the abundant breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9 a.m., and you come down at 8:35 to find empty plates with leftovers from other guests, without refilling. The selection was very limited, except for an empty tart plate, an empty chocolate bundt cake plate, and two other plates with leftover slices of fruit bundt cake. Half-empty juice jugs, one yogurt, and industrial-strength biscuits packaged in sachets. That's the selection. It's a shame because the structure could offer more.

16/03/2026: Horrific restaurant. Not at ALL advertised truthfully. Came in thinking it was a decent sit down restaurant, instead came in to find a stack of very nasty looking paninis/obviously frozen pizzas, some clearly very old lasagna, and some other random dishes. Ordered fish and chips, a personal favorite, and the first thing I saw was the server MICROWAVE it. Then, I tried the food and I’m not lying when I say they probably serve better food in prisons. There was not an ounce of seasoning or sauce on my fish and chips. The fish was horribly slimy and the chips probably tasted worse than eating a raw potato. Not to mention, they just played music videos with highly inappropriate images the entire time, a nasty action, especially considering there were children all around the store. Worst restaurant I have eaten at in Italy thus far.

13/03/2026: A restaurant at the foot of the Basilica of Saint Francis with a youthful and welcoming atmosphere. A varied menu, including delicious pizzas and burgers. The Ventaglio is a must-try. The truffle strangozzi is also worth a try.

17/05/2026: My husband and I had dinner at Osteria dei Priori in Assisi to celebrate my birthday, and we had a truly wonderful time. The place is beautiful and welcoming, with a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The staff welcomed us with such kindness and courtesy, making us feel immediately at ease. They were also very kind in explaining the dishes and offering suggestions throughout the dinner. The food was truly exquisite; you could taste the quality of the ingredients, and each dish was carefully crafted and full of flavor. It was a special evening that I will fondly remember. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile, I absolutely recommend it!

22/05/2026: This restaurant is located near Santa Maria degli Angeli in Assisi and is clean and modern; the food is truly delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive to customer requests. A wonderful discovery! We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

15/03/2026: Extremely expensive for very little! The price-performance ratio is completely off. We paid €32 for four Aperol Spritzes and €7 for a 0.3-liter bottle of beer! Even the cheese and ham platter was barely worth €29… Prices higher than in Rome or New York! A real tourist trap; if we had known, we would have moved on immediately.
