03/04/2026: I dined at this restaurant on Saturday, March 28, 2026. A magnificent experience. The restaurant is located in the charming building of The Nun, a complex featuring spa rooms and this restaurant, well-known in the area. The restaurant offers free indoor parking; if it's full, there's public parking just a few steps away. The welcome was professional; the young woman greeted us kindly and carefully stowed our hats in the cloakroom. The selection of dishes was made under the clear and precise guidance of the chef, who explained all the flavors to us. The evening continued in a calm and subdued atmosphere, with the chef present, who explained the characteristics of the dishes to us. The food was fantastic; out of the four courses, we chose two off-menu items. I still remember the flavor of the pumpkin and licorice risotto, a splendid combination that I hope will become a permanent feature on the menu. Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about. The portions were just right, not too large, not too small, with balanced ingredients. The location is elegant; they should keep the terrace open in the summer, however, I think it could improve on some details, the little things, which don't detract from the already wonderful experience. Prices are average for the first courses; the second courses are perhaps a little above average, but nothing excessive when compared to the restaurant's target market. Congratulations to the chef and the staff; I highly recommend it.

02/04/2026: A light lunch with a special menu featuring a few light dishes, well-executed and tasty. A pleasant Umbrian rosé sparkling wine. A very refined, minimalist atmosphere. Attentive and impeccable service. Breathtaking views of Assisi.

05/04/2026: Good hotel. I don't think it's a true 3-star because the room is a bit bare. But everything else is excellent. They also accept dogs. The only criticism was about the room; the rest of the service was excellent. I hope to come in the summer to enjoy the pool. Thank you.

08/03/2026: A must-visit on our trips to Assisi. We've only tried the restaurant and it's great. The food is good and plentiful. There are always two or more vegetarian options for the main courses. You feel right at home, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

04/04/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch and ordered the 13 euro menu. I'd say it was plentiful and good... the staff were welcoming and super friendly... a rarity... congratulations!

14/03/2026: We only visited the restaurant as passing tourists, two couples, and ordered the tourist menu. The price was excellent, and the food was very tasty and well-portioned. The kitchen was spotless, and the restrooms were well-maintained. The young people at the tables were extremely courteous, extremely polite, and attentive. The owner's daughter, who is also a talented chef, was friendly and empathetic at the counter. Perfectly family-run, highly recommended. Reservations are recommended due to the large number of guests.

02/05/2026: Very well located and excellent service, very friendly. Clean rooms, nothing extra. A bit dated… but 3 stars is fair. The best thing is the location. Assisi at night is very beautiful. It's worth spending the night in Assisi. Many restaurants are open, shops are open, and the streets are lively. The breakfast was very good, the buffet had everything you need and expect. The view is wonderful. Thank you

06/05/2026: If you're looking for an authentic culinary experience in the heart of Assisi, the Medioevo restaurant is a must-visit. The atmosphere is enchanting, but it's the food that truly makes the difference. We started with an appetizer of mixed bruschetta and warm crostini: the freshest ingredients, perfectly crispy bread, and flavors that evoke the finest Umbrian tradition. The real highlight, however, were the first courses: we ordered strangozzi with black truffle, which were simply amazing. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the truffle, generous and fragrant, made every bite a true pleasure. A special shout-out goes to the staff: friendly, courteous, and very attentive, they made you feel welcome from the first moment.

04/01/2026: This is a small, limited-seat restaurant in the center of Assisi. It's a great place for a quick stop to try the torta al testo, a traditional local dish, and enjoy a glass of wine. The torta bocciata is also excellent.

04/05/2026: I spent the best night of my life here. My wife and I got married here in April of 2026, after a year of planning with the venue staff, it was an absolute dream come true. The venue staff from the bartenders, sommelier, cook to Giorgia the wedding planner were absolute top notch and I could not have been happier. The grounds are absolutely stunning with gorgeous flowers, amazing views, a full spa and walking paths through lush gardens. Giorgia is the absolute best in the business and took care of every single detail, we could not have done it without her. I cannot recommend this venue enough for a wedding or for a relaxing weekend.

Special mention goes to Fabio, the charming owner who makes his guests (not customers, as we felt) feel at ease, helping us pair the dishes with excellent local wines. For anyone visiting Assisi, this is a must-see!

02/05/2026: When we travel, I love trying the local pastries. I don't mind paying a little more to try a quality local product, but on this occasion, having tried three different cakes from this place, I have to say it's not worth it. They're very expensive for the quality they offer. If you're very hungry and have money to burn, go ahead, but if you're expecting to try something special, look for another bakery.
