High-level service; the restaurant manager is often a highlight, professional and attentive. Careful cuisine, refined dishes, quality ingredients, and elegant presentation. It's the classic restaurant where you go for a quiet and memorable dinner, perhaps as a couple or for a special occasion. It's more than just eating: it's truly experiencing Assisi authentically.

30/04/2026: The waiters were very friendly, the place was clean, and the food was excellent, with generous portions and good quality. They even gave us aluminum trays to take home any leftovers. The price was very reasonable for those who are used to Milan. Definitely recommended.

21/04/2026: I don't understand how anyone could leave a negative review for this restaurant. Ms. Katia was very kind, as were the staff, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Sure, it's an older restaurant, but I'd rather have an older place with excellent food than a nice place with bad food.

17/04/2026: At this price point (excellent value for money), it's hard to find fault! A traditional trattoria/osteria. Few foreigners, lots of locals (it's a bit noisy). The charcuterie is high quality. The portions are generous. The service is unpretentious. The beef is tender. What more could you ask for? Wine lovers, look elsewhere; they only serve the house wine. €40 for two, including starters, main courses, wine, and coffee.

12/10/2025: We celebrated a very special 50th birthday, lots of excellent quality food, plenty of space for the children to run around, a truly special moment.

12/10/2025: This isn't the first time I've attended a party at Frigus bar. A graduation party first, and a fiftieth birthday party later... Always a guaranteed success! There's plenty of space inside and out, even for those with children, and excellent food, from appetizers to first courses, all the way to pizza and vegetables. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

10/06/2025: Ci sono ritornato dopo 2 anni è avuto il piacere di gustare i loro prodotti. Torta al testo con porchetta davvero squisita e abbondante. Personale molto accogliente. Ci tornerei sicuramente!!!

09/06/2025: Un posto accogliente, menù ben spiegato e chiaro e prodotti buoni…ci sono stata a pranzo con la mia famiglia, dopo la visita a Santa Maria degli Angeli, ed è stata una buona scelta. Raggiungerlo è molto semplice in quanto molto Vicino alla Basilica, ci si può arrivare a piedi in pochissimo tempo e anche in macchina perché ci sono dei parcheggi

19/04/2026: I stayed at the Relais Parco dei Cavalieri during a fencing competition in Bastia Umbra, and I must say the location was perfect: centrally located, well-connected, and convenient for Assisi, where I spent a pleasant evening for dinner. The property immediately struck me with its elegance and originality. Its historic charm is palpable, yet at the same time everything is thoughtfully designed and welcoming, immersed in a truly relaxing setting. A great strength is undoubtedly the staff: courteous, helpful, and always attentive, making you feel at ease at all times. It's one of those places that stays with you, not only for the quality of the accommodation but for the overall experience. I will definitely return, this time with my family, to enjoy the area and all it has to offer at a more leisurely pace.
