05/05/2026: The staff wasn't very polite; it was a busy day, and the waiter couldn't keep up with everyone, and they were reluctant to answer questions. We had to wait a long time. The food wasn't bad, as is everywhere in Umbria.
05/01/2026: Small but cozy place. The menu is basic, but everything is very good. I recommend it for a quick, no-frills lunch.

22/10/2025: Disappointing experience at Pozzo Romano
We visited Pozzo Romano restaurant with a group of 15 colleagues, but unfortunately, the experience was very negative. The staff was unwelcoming and rushed, with no attention to the customer. The meal was of poor quality, with poorly prepared and flavorless dishes. In a city as renowned for its hospitality and good cuisine as Assisi, we expected much better. We do not recommend this restaurant.

17/05/2026: My husband and I had dinner at Osteria dei Priori in Assisi to celebrate my birthday, and we had a truly wonderful time.
The place is beautiful and welcoming, with a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The staff welcomed us with such kindness and courtesy, making us feel immediately at ease. They were also very kind in explaining the dishes and offering suggestions throughout the dinner.
The food was truly exquisite; you could taste the quality of the ingredients, and each dish was carefully crafted and full of flavor. It was a special evening that I will fondly remember.
If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile, I absolutely recommend it!

16/08/2025: Rude staff, even more so the owner, very rude. When we asked for clarification on the dishes, he replied, "If it's okay, that's it. Otherwise, you can leave." NEVER talk rudely to customers, but this was downright rude!
I advise everyone not to stop here and to move on.

06/05/2026: The Café Central is located in the main square of Assisi, the Piazza del Comune. Also known as the House of Francesco.
Very well located and where we can observe the beautiful medieval buildings of Assisi.
Sitting in front of the "comune" building and the "three lions" fountain is truly a privilege.

What a beautiful thing to see.
17/03/2026: Located in the heart of Assisi, we chose this bar for an aperitivo. The spritzes were good, but the snacks were practically nonexistent (just a few chips). It's very touristy, but it's one of the few options in the center. Prices are moderately high.

30/05/2026: Rude and unhelpful staff
The parking lot adjacent to the restaurant only accepts cash. Not having any coins, we went to the bar to politely ask for change, even saying we were willing to buy something to get it. The cashier repeatedly claimed she had no coins, even though shortly afterward, when we returned to buy some chips, she had plenty on the counter. In addition to the blatant lie, the attitude was immediately arrogant and disrespectful, without any justification. A minimal level of customer service would be the bare minimum for anyone working in front of the public. We won't be returning.

07/04/2026: Truly a terrible place. Very unpleasant staff and a boss who should be in a retirement home. Food was extremely overpriced, tasted cheap and wasn't even properly heated. please save yourself from this shitty place.
23/03/2026: Poor quality food, with reheated fries that weren't cooked to order. We asked for bread, as we'd ordered a frozen cutlet and sausage, and they brought us a sandwich with a cutlet removed, making it dirty and greasy. The cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I absolutely do not recommend it.
