18/08/2025: I'm sorry to say this, but over the years it's lost some of its quality. It's become a tourist trap. The pastries are good, but there are better ones. The food and aperitivo aren't great. It's OK for tourists... the bathrooms are awful and dirty. And only two of them.

15/08/2025: We stopped today, 15 minutes for two croissants, which were also dry, and the service was indifferent and incredibly slow. I'm sorry, but it was awful.

23/08/2025: A trendy pizzeria, In...maybe it might be a little uncomfortable for families with children, because the decor and tableware are more elegant than functional, but all in all we had a good time. The restaurant owners' pizza idea is perhaps a little too bold, but I imagine if someone asks for a normal pizza there shouldn't be any problems, the dough is easy to digest, but the prices aren't up to par...they're high. Guys, it's just a 🍕. Recommended, but with reservations.

11/07/2025: As soon as we arrived, we received a terrible welcome. They gave us a table for five, which, in my opinion, only two people could sit at. As for the rest, they even kicked us out, saying the table was already sold, leaving us without food and searching for an available place. Absolutely don't go, never again!

11/07/2025: A truly terrible experience. We went to eat here with five people, but they seated us at a tiny table, without even the option of adding another table or a few more chairs. The waiter was incredibly rude and impolite from the start, making us feel uncomfortable. At the end, he even arrogantly asked us to leave. Unacceptable treatment, we definitely won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking even a modicum of courtesy and respect.

27/06/2025: We stopped here for dinner, parked the car, and attended a concert at the Basilica di San Pietro. The food was very good and reasonably priced, and the owner was very friendly.

18/02/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant on Valentine's Day. I'd like to point out that despite it being a "holiday," the place wasn't packed; in fact, we found a table without a reservation. We sat down around 8:00 PM and were immediately offered a welcome appetizer. Here's the first negative: the appetizer was nothing more than a shot of spirits served in a small glass, with nothing to eat (they might have served a few tarallos or breadsticks). Basically, without having eaten anything, you end up drinking a lot of this spirits, which, instead of satiating your hunger, destroys your stomach. We ordered two plates of beef gyoza and three sushi rolls. Second negative: A table who arrived after us (but who already knew the staff) ate before us, who had arrived earlier. They managed to both order and eat in about an hour (by 9:00 PM, they were already out of the restaurant). This was very frustrating because, on the contrary, we had to wait 40 minutes before we could eat anything, and during all that time, the only thing we'd eaten was that shot served as an entrée. After a 40-minute wait, our three rolls arrived. Nothing to complain about; they were good and beautifully presented. We waited another 20-30 minutes, but the gyoza hadn't arrived, so I asked a waitress, who told me they were out of beef gyoza. (We had ordered them an hour earlier, and when we ordered, the beef gyoza were available! I wonder who ate my gyoza.) I know the waitress made a mistake with the gyoza, and obviously it's not her fault—to err is human—but I wonder, how is it possible that ALL the staff (at least 4 people) don't realize that a table of two people has been waiting over 40 minutes for food, and no one comes to ask if we want anything else or if everything is okay? My impression was that of a place trying to be chic, serving water in a glass and an entrée (conceptually flawed), but then completely forgetting the basics, like giving out peanuts or taralli while you wait, and taking care of customers when they need it. In fact, we were completely forgotten about the entire evening. I want to clarify, however, that I don't believe this was the fault of a single person, but of ALL the staff. We had a table near the counter, clearly visible to EVERYONE, but no one ever bothered to ask if we were missing anything or if we wanted anything else. Instead, I watched empty tables being cleaned while we waited for someone to serve us. We finally left at 10 pm (after two hours) without having eaten practically anything. (3 rolls for two). When it came to the bill, nothing was taken off our bill, and we paid a flat 60 euros for: 3 rolls 1 water 1 beer. I'm leaving this negative review because the "dinner" was expensive and the staff was practically absent. Some advice for the owner/staff: 1 - You should eat something with the entree, especially if you serve a spirit. I don't think the people who come to eat at your restaurant usually eat first, so they have empty stomachs! Serving a spirit without even a drop of water and making you wait 40 minutes for a first course is a mistake. 2 - It's not fair to serve tables that arrive later (even if they're "friends" or regulars). This is very annoying for customers, especially if they have to wait 40 minutes before getting something to eat and are forced to watch whoever arrived later eat. 3 - After a mistake, they try to make up for it by offering something or offering some kind of discount to make up for the embarrassment. Instead, they didn't even take away our bottle of water... Personally, I won't go back and I wouldn't recommend it for dinner! It's more of a bar that tries to do a bit of sushi. If you want to drink, it's OK, but for food, I'd recommend going somewhere else. In short, it's one of those places where you spend WELL and eat LITTLE.

14/07/2025: A. Good farmhouse. I only went to eat. I didn't stay overnight. I have to say, the atmosphere is nice and friendly, full of kittens that keep us company. We ate outside. The atmosphere is nice. I think the prices are a bit high for the location. The starter was 18 euros and wasn't very rich. The menu on the blackboard was a few nice dishes to choose from, cooked quite well. I'll post some photos so you can get an idea of the dishes.

03/09/2025: We tried this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who often go there in the evening for pizza. Since we went for lunch, we were able to try the traditional cuisine, which I must say is quite to my liking for the first courses. However, it must be said that they don't turn on the oven for lunch (so we were told), so everything is a bit limited... It's a shame, because the options are all there to make this restaurant competitive with other restaurants in town. The appetizers were good but also quite predictable, and the desserts were average. We tried the first courses (pictured), and I must say the gnocchi with meat sauce were very good, homemade with white Pietralunga potatoes. The ragù was excellent... As for the tagliatelle with truffle, perhaps the butter was added, which slightly altered the flavor of the truffle (perhaps summer truffle), which, being very delicate, faded slightly with the rest of the sauce. However, the tagliatelle were cooked well. We didn't order anything else, so I'll reevaluate when I go that evening, if that happens. The service was excellent, courtesy of a very kind, yet shy and reserved young woman who satisfied us in every way... The owner, perhaps a little more aloof and cold, didn't immediately inspire any fondness... but maybe that's just my impression. The prices and atmosphere are excellent, as is the case with the rest of the area... They're fortunate to be in a town surrounded by scenic views that alone bring peace and beauty to those who visit! The fact that they can offer such prices shows that it's still possible to offer high-quality dining with authentic food at a reasonable price. The fourth star is therefore justified. I hope to be able to further improve this rating soon.

12/05/2025: Unfortunately I have to give a very low rating for the quality of the croissants prepared with poor quality products: the butter did not arrive (even if the croissant appeared "greasy") certainly replaced with margarine or similar. The flavor and texture were greatly affected. The choice and quality of ingredients are the first step towards success.

07/08/2025: We came directly from Rome for a day trip... specifically, I was organizing a birthday surprise for my partner. I had previously looked at this location as an overnight stay, but due to logistical issues, we were only able to use the catering service, which was a very pleasant surprise. Spectacular views of the hills, a quiet and breezy location, dishes with authentic and genuine flavors, olive oil produced on the farm itself, excellent wine, and I can't stop showering this place with compliments. They even managed to get a birthday candle for my partner without warning. The staff is patient and always smiling, ready to chat and be friendly. Plus, there's a small poodle that roams the tables, making you feel right at home. We want to return... definitely to stay overnight, and not just... also to try breakfast in this magical place where everything stops. 10 out of 10!!

29/07/2025: Carmiano Piccolo is authentic, flavorful Umbrian food at its absolute best. Honestly, it might have been the best meal we had during our two weeks here. The staff is warm and friendly, making the whole experience feel relaxed and genuine. We had the ragu to start, followed by the scrambled eggs with truffle and the wine-braised pork chops as secondi – every dish was packed with flavor and felt true to the region. My only regret is skipping the tiramisu, which looked incredible. Next time, we’re not making that mistake. This place is a must if you want a proper taste of Umbria.

22/04/2025: Known by chance during a visit to Gubbio, we stopped for a lunch break... nice, modern place... platter with fresh, quality cold cuts and cheeses... excellent wine recommended by the waiter... excellent service... it was a splendid discovery
