03/09/2025: We went on Sunday for lunch, the service was terrible, but it was not due to the waiters but to those who manage them, they brought the dishes one by one without us finishing the previous dish, lasagna soft and tasteless (the hospital food was better), the meat overcooked, and the ice cream crystallized, a sign that it had been defrosted and refrozen several times ... I do not recommend it.

01/09/2025: An incredible experience. From the reception and check-in, to the cleanliness and amenities of the rooms, to breakfast and dinner. All the staff and waiters were extremely polite, and a special thanks to Mohammed and Daniele. Great location, on the street behind the Sanctuary of Saint Rita of Cassia. Guest parking is included in the stay. I highly recommend it!

29/07/2025: We had a delicious meal there. We started with a carpaccio, followed by a pizza and a delicious panna cotta. There were four of us, and we all enjoyed the delicious food. The service was very friendly. In short, a good restaurant and a good price. We went again this year and had delicious pasta.

14/07/2025: On the road from Chiusi to Castiglione del Lago, I pass through a small village called Moiano. The road is straight, and at a certain point I see a sign, almost hidden, that says "restaurant." My first thought was to go elsewhere, but then I thought, "Perhaps seeing the sign was a sign," and I decide to stop. The road runs alongside the restaurant and leads to a large parking lot. I go in and ask if there's room, and with all the kindness possible, they invite me outside. While I wait, a crowd of foreigners and Italians alike comes and goes, until I discover they also have rooms. I look at the menu and decide: Tuscan crostini, ossobuco, salad, water, and a glass of sparkling wine recommended by the owner. What can I say? I've found Tuscan cuisine in Umbria: old-fashioned handmade crostini, tender ossobuco with the callus and fat, a side dish of chopped carrots and other ingredients in a red sauce, and, most importantly, bone with marrow. Fair prices and quality of raw materials, I recommend you stop by if you pass by these parts, I forgot about the wood oven where they make both meat and pizzas.........by PIRAX

26/07/2025: Agriturismo Guinzano is a magical place, surrounded by greenery, the silence, and the coolness of the hills above Gubbio. It's the ideal place to unplug from everything and everyone. The hospitality of Daniela, Stefano, and Roberto is excellent. Daniela pampers her guests with so much attention and care, advice, and pleasant conversations... Stefano and Roberto are two excellent cooks. Then there are Marty and Duca, two very good dogs, and a troop of charming cats. What can I say, a perfect vacation in every way. 21/03/2025: Dinner was a wonderful experience. Intimate venue, attentive and efficient service, excellent dishes and wines. We ordered the tartare and the sirloin, excellent meat and very successful preparation. We are left looking forward to the next visit... Well done Hourglass and well done Emiliano.

02/08/2025: We had dinner there... It's on the square, with a beautiful atmosphere. It's cool, and above all... the food is excellent. The dishes are fabulous, from appetizers to first courses, to salads, and desserts are creative and delicious. One thing we were very pleased to find was the service: polite, courteous, attentive, and excellent with recommendations (wine and other specialties). Lorenzo, in particular, served us. He's professional but also cheerful. Thank you ❤️

21/05/2025: Happened upon this place by chance, very much a case of serendipity. It’s a delightful restaurant where the chef kindly came out of the kitchen to give us a full run down of all the dishes and how they are made. Such tough decisions when everything sounded so delicious. We all opted for primi and secondi and were so glad we did because we wouldn’t want to have missed out. Every dish was a taste revelation. You can tell that this is a chef who is really passionate about what he does. My roast duck with mashed potato, caramelised apple and mustard was out of this world but my three companions would argue that they each had the best dish. And while the food was exceptionally good, it was matched by the incredible wine selection, the ambience and the very calm and knowledgable owner and chef. We‘ll be back…often!

16/03/2025: Despite being just steps from the highway (very convenient), you can't even hear the noise, and it feels like you're in the countryside. The place is very well-maintained, and the deli on the ground floor is truly interesting. Definitely worth considering if you're passing through, even just for a properly made sandwich!

18/08/2025: Excellent seafood scialatielli, as well as salmon, vodka, and pistachio gnocchi. The spaghetti with clams was exceptional! We also had seafood and truffle bruschetta, everything was truly superb! Very carefully prepared dishes, beautifully presented, and exceptional flavors. The service was also excellent. Highly recommended! The main courses were excellent, too. We'll be back.

17/08/2025: The restaurant offers a nice selection of seafood dishes as well as traditional ones. The truffle bruschetta, raw seafood, octopus Luciana-style, and panna cotta are all delicious. Fair prices for excellent quality.
