12/04/2026: I often go to this chain when I'm in South Tyrol. The food is plentiful, good quality, and reasonably priced. All the guys and girls are super friendly, especially Johanna.

31/05/2026: Since May 2026, a young, friendly, and helpful man has been warmly welcoming guests to the hotel. He creates a fantastic breakfast menu and is always open to suggestions. The hotel has a one-star rating, but the facilities are correspondingly good. This makes it excellent value for money. The village of Campreghere is 5 km above Caldonazzo. It's ideally suited for cycling, motorcycling, or hiking holidays. A shop in the main village is about 2 km away. The hotel has a pleasant bar, run by the young man himself, and diagonally opposite is a "ski lodge," also perfect for an evening get-together.

The restaurant's aesthetic is simply delightful: wood, stone, and soft lighting create a rustic yet extremely refined atmosphere. It's the place you want to retreat to after a day spent among the peaks, where every detail of the decor seems to tell a story. Excellent service The real added value is the staff. It's rare to be welcomed with such a combination of kindness and expertise. You can sense their meticulous care for the guest, never intrusive but always present. They expertly advised us, making us feel like the stars of the evening. In particular, a young man named Vincenzo, who goes by Donato...He was extremely knowledgeable about every dish. It's as if he looks you in the face and knows what you want to eat. Gastronomic Experience Dishes that are like an embrace: the freshest local ingredients transformed into recipes that taste like home. Every bite confirms the passion they put into cooking. 02/05/2026: It's perfectly fine -- and no worse or better than most gelaterias within a stone's throw. But because it's Instagram-famous, there's a line. If it's long, go elsewhere.

23/09/2025: Reopening and under new management after various ups and downs. Run by young but experienced and well-intentioned people. The typical local dishes are acceptable, although I personally think the tosella cheese should be revisited and the sauerkraut should be tasted before offering it. All in all, it's adequate. The new start deserves praise, given the improvements already made, both to the restaurant and to the stable, and the surrounding environment. Prices are in line.

23/08/2025: The starter and courtesy were good, the dumplings and main courses were not satisfactory.

03/05/2026: The bathroom wasn't very clean, especially the sink. The prices were a bit too high. I ordered an eis chocolade and was served an ice cream that didn't match the description. When I asked for clarification, I was told the ice cream was the right one. A real shame because the view is beautiful and the location is very charming.

15/02/2026: There's no doubt that the Sacher Torte here is the best in Madonna di Campiglio, when it's available! I've already come here three times (Friday afternoon and twice on Sunday morning) specifically for the Sacher Torte, and I can't find it. One of the three times, it was even pre-ordered, and I had to wait over an hour to pick it up.

03/05/2026: I ate very well, the first courses and also an excellent pizza 🍕. Very friendly staff. Plus, a wonderful view of the landscape.

06/04/2026: We stayed a weekend at Camping Polsa and dined at the on-site restaurant. Although the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms initially tasted excellent, halfway through the meal I found a piece of wire wool (the kind used to scrape baking sheets) on my plate, which hurt me. To be safe, I stopped eating and reported the incident to the waitress, who took away the metal residue as evidence. When it came time to pay the bill, the owner tried to "act grand" by offering to waive the charge for the child's plain pasta (€4), believing that was the problem. Once it was clarified that the wire wool was in my tagliatelle (over €13), rather than refund the uneaten dish, she decided to charge me €5 anyway. The experience didn't improve at breakfast: after ordering a cappuccino, I saw some strudel and immediately asked to change my order for a macchiato and cake so as not to have any leftovers. I was served a cappuccino anyway, and when I expressed disappointment, the response was, "I smelled cappuccino, they cost the same anyway" (which wasn't true, but that's not the problem). The result? I had to drink something I didn't want, which I duly left there. Truly sloppy and unprofessional customer service.

21/03/2026: Delicious sandwiches and truly excellent ingredients. The vegetarian sandwich (they also have a vegan option) with a homemade burger made with seasonal vegetables is also very good!

26/04/2026: i ate there twice in February 2026. The service was professional and attentive, and the food was delicious. The dishes are different to what is being offered by other restaurants in val gardena. Suitable for solo diners. Can't wait to go back in 2027!!

14/04/2026: I state: if you look for good pizza in Val Gardena, go to La Bula it comes close to real napoletan pizza's if that is what you prefere. Service was normal, good as you would expect. Nothing special. Given the place is rather large you notice staff can be busy and occupied occasionally.
