29/09/2025: My girlfriend and I unfortunately only stayed one night in your cozy Ortlerblick suite on our return trip from Milan. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful 180-degree view of the Alps from our balcony and our accommodation. Our suite was very modern and absolutely clean. The Illmer family owns a very well-maintained, comfortable, and tastefully furnished property, which they make available to their guests along with friendly and courteous staff. Not only the very friendly hotelier, but also the service team took great care of our well-being. The 5-course dinner menu was exceptionally varied, a feast for the eyes, and very digestible. For a vegetarian like me, there was a huge selection of delicacies. The service came to our table regularly and discreetly to provide us with the best culinary delights. The selection of drinks, both at dinner and breakfast, left nothing to be desired. The breakfast offerings were very extensive. There were a variety of fresh juices, fruit, rolls, bread, cheeses, etc. We are very sorry we only booked for one night. Next time, we will definitely stay longer to have more time for the luxurious wellness area. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her massage in the afternoon. 31/01/2026: Well the place is nice the atmosphere is good the food there is no food for vegetarians and the service was very weak I would expect a waiter that can help and explain and can help and choose right courses we wait to the food 45 minutes I think because one of the male was fish but the problem is the waiter that should say that it's going take a time to prepare the fish ‏can in the mean time ‏i will give you a spaghet if for the child it is very difficult for a child to wait 45 minutes for his food all in all the food was not so wow the service was bad play I don't understand how it's got to recommendation for a Michelin star

08/12/2025: We stopped at this restaurant for dinner, a group of four. Upon entry, we were greeted by the waiter who seated us in a deserted, unheated room. Despite repeated requests to move to the heated room, we were ignored until a seat finally became available in the main room and we annoyedly asked to be moved. The service was very sketchy; the waitress (who I assume was the owner) left cutlery and napkins in the center of the table without handing them out or setting the table. The pizzas weren't among the best I've had, being of a medium-low standard. The fries were almost raw on the pizza, and the vegetable pizza wasn't what we'd asked for. When we asked for parmesan, they brought us the grated kind you put on pasta. And finally, the surprise was the bill!!! The prices didn't match those on the menu, but were all higher; for example, the capricciosa went from 10 to 13 euros. We won't be returning.

21/01/2026: A well-located bar and restaurant near the San Leonardo lakes, it's a great place to stop after a hike for breakfast, an aperitif, or lunch. They also offer a good selection of grappas.

25/04/2026: We stopped today for a break. The bathrooms were dirty, and there was a pile of used towels next to the sinks. We waited almost an hour before eating, and the food was awful. One of us ordered a pizza, and it tasted like chewing gum.

06/12/2025: Terrible experience... first of all, I go in to buy a 10-pack of cigarettes and he won't let me pay with my debit card. Plus, I pay for the craft malboros in cash at 5.70 a pack, when they cost 5.50 a pack. I ask for information and he explains that the prices have gone up, but then I check and it's not true. Right after me, a woman asks if her cigarettes have gone up too, and he says no.

04/11/2025: A small, charming pizzeria (and bar) frequented by many locals. The service is extremely friendly, and in my opinion, the pizza is the best in the area (Kronplatz, Rasen-Antholz). The Jägerpizza (hunter's pizza) is fantastic.

03/04/2026: I'm writing this review still in disbelief at the treatment and quality of the food I received. If you're looking for a place to eat after a day on the slopes, move on: any other option will be better than this. The pizza dough was embarrassing: rubbery, clearly under-risen, and raw in the center, while the crust was burnt and bitter. The ingredients used were of the lowest quality; the tomato was overly acidic, and the mozzarella had no consistency whatsoever, a sign of the use of low-quality industrial products that have nothing to do with the flavors of the area. The service was the final straw. Arrogant staff, biblical wait times (over an hour for two pizzas with the place half empty), and a total disorganization in the dining room and kitchen. Despite our polite complaints about the cooking, the response was dismissive and lacking in professionalism. The prices were completely out of line and unjustified. Paying gourmet prices for a product that wouldn't even end up on the plate of an emergency shelter is unacceptable. A place that thrives solely on its touristic location, but doesn't deserve a single cent of your money. ​Avoid it if you don't want to ruin your evening and your stomach. In his place, I'd keep quiet, especially since there's no page where you can write a review exclusively for the restaurant.

27/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place yesterday and it was a pleasant surprise. The dumplings in broth were delicious, and the goulash was excellent. We returned today, and the pork shank with sauerkraut was excellent and very filling.

11/05/2026: We dined at Ristorante Pizzeria Zalejada on May 9, 2026, and had a truly positive experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly. The waiter was extremely friendly and kind: open to a chat, but never intrusive. In fact, it was truly a pleasure to chat with him throughout the evening. We ordered the cheese dumplings with purple cabbage and melted butter, and the beef goulash with polenta, melted cheese, and mushrooms. Both dishes were delicious. The portions were perfectly balanced: they were just the right amount of filling, without weighing you down, and without the risk of leaving food on your plate. We also found the price more than adequate for the quality. For dessert, we chose the apple strudel, which was also simply delicious. We really appreciated the fact that it was served with whipped cream on the side. Another very positive detail was the chef's coming out to check on the evening: a simple gesture, but truly appreciated. The atmosphere has a slightly '80s feel, but for us it added a unique and pleasant touch to the dinner. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back as soon as we have the chance.
