28/08/2024: Honestly, I'm not one to write reviews, but this place deserved it for how well they treated us. After a disastrous day in which we were stranded with the camper, we found this restaurant that, despite having the kitchen closed, opened it only for us. Who knows what face they would see us with. The service was unbeatable, they also spoke English, German, Spanish and of course Italian. The food was truly spectacular, my praise to the chef. All that remains is to say thank you.

28/08/2024: Excellent food. Quality local products. Young but professional and educated staff. A nice self-service for side dishes. The only flaw I would say is that if you arrive at 12 and 10 minutes there is no more sauerkraut. They leave immediately. And they arrive but you are already at the table.🙃 I recommend placing two vases.😂

27/07/2024: Wir können die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen ist hervorragend, genau so haben wir es uns vorgestellt. Der Service ist bemüht, die Tische sind edel gedeckt, es war insgesamt wirklich richtig gut!

25/07/2024: If you want to try South Tyrol recipes this is the place you must visit. Very good red wine options. The location is great and the service is fast and welcoming. It is quite busy so make sure you arrive early or reserve a table beforehand.

04/08/2024: La nostra esperienza non è stata delle più felici. Credo che la persona che ci ha accolto non fosse la titolare, veramente poco gentile. Il servizio velocissimo e insistente, quasi invitasse a liberare il tavolo. Il cibo niente di che… non credo ci torneremo…

Si aggiunga un ottimo servizio con piavevole chiacchierata finale con lo chef completata da un assaggio di grappa di loro produzione. Sicuramente consigliato

15/08/2024: It was the only restaurant where we could make reservations. We travel extensively and it is our third time in buitifull San Cassiano. In the whole restaurant the was only few tables occupied. We had a biggest table of 5..Bad sign already. Every dish for each of us was either mediocre or bad. Undecioked, overcooked or just bland. Service was mediocre as well. To have such a bad meal with bad service in Dolomites is rare. It explains why in the busiest week on the summer it was the only place with availability.

25/07/2024: We dined on 4. 3 Ladin menus because we were told they were large portions. We are speechless, everything is top! Where have we been so far? Everything excellent. The fantastic first courses include tagliatelle with mushrooms, crescents with spinach, dumplings in broth and barley soup. Meat that melts in your mouth, spectacular polenta. And warm raspberries with ice cream? The very kind owner. Very sincere congratulations! The price is very honest based on quality and quantity. If you try once you understand. 12/06/2024: Comfortable, clean hotel with a spectacular view! Hostess very available to meet different needs. Excellent cuisine and generous portions. We stayed in this hotel during the Sella Ronda and upon returning from our tour, we ate delicious speck sandwiches! I recommend it and will be back soon!!

15/06/2024: Posto da scoprire ma ne vale la pena! Atmosfera magica! Abbiamo pranzato in 4 (2 adulti e 2 bambini) con 70 euro da uscire pieni. Cibo tipico e non, buono e porzioni abbondanti. Tavoli con vista sul lago bellissima! Personale gentile. Bagni puliti. Ci tornerei!

24/07/2024: Il posto è accogliente e curato, il cibo buono, il personale cortese, avrei dato un giudizio molto positivo se non avessi deciso, prima di andare via, di utilizzare i servizi igienici. Erano in condizioni veramente indecenti, e il grado di inciviltà degli utenti non giustifica l'incuria degli esercenti. Peccato!

04/07/2024: Posto carino ai piedi della funivia , atmosfera calda, personale gentilissimo I prezzi giustificano la qualità di quel che mangi, perché uno stinco così buono non l’ho mai mangiato, e io in rifugio o dove lo fanno prendo sempre stinco Alla birra, con la cotenna che parla da sé, veramente abbondante,servito con giardiniera e polenta, da applausi Poi tagliatelle ai funghi e salsiccia Tanta gentilezza e materie prime Panorama e profumi Provate lo stinco

06/08/2024: We consumed some delicious ice cream cups, the ice cream is exceptional and artisanal. The staff is welcoming, smiling and always available for every request. We will definitely be back :)

22/08/2024: We were there for one night with the motorbike and were warmly welcomed by our son. There were cold drinks and even though it was a day off, the pizzeria was open in the house. Great view, wonderful peace and quiet... nice room with a balcony. We were allowed to ride a motorbike Park it for free in the large garage.The pizza made by "Papa" deserves the seal of quality: "Exellent"....I've rarely eaten such a great pizza, and at good prices. Breakfast was also good. Price-performance ratio was good. Thank you...it's in my note book. Thanks

10/08/2024: ⭐⭐ I stayed in this two-star hotel, and I must say that it fully reflects its category. The rooms were clean and tidy, nothing luxurious but perfectly adequate. The pizza was good, and the breakfast wasn't bad either. A plus point was the view from the room, truly wonderful, perfect for those looking for a bit of relaxation surrounded by nature. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet and unpretentious stay.

19/08/2024: We had a family lunch at this hut. The platters of cured meats, cheeses and polenta, all home-produced, were exceptional, including desserts. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The place is perfect for relaxing, with outdoor tables and spectacular views of the surroundings. It was a pleasure to see animals such as goats, cows and horses grazing around, which made the experience even more authentic. Furthermore, it is an ideal place for those traveling with dogs, as they accept them without problems. The location is perfect, a stone's throw from the Vezzena pass, easily reachable on foot. A place we highly recommend!

14/08/2024: ABSURD waiting times. Over 1 hour. We went for the first time because we usually went to the Fratte mountain hut, where in addition to buying their products you could also taste them, but this year they no longer do that. So given the time we continued and found this hut. Never again. I advise against it

20/08/2024: Very characteristic hut in a beautiful environment and easy to reach. The walk from the Wielental car park, just before the junction for the earth pyramids, is slightly sloping for the first 5-10 minutes then it softens and is really pleasant. Excellent typical food, generous portions and very kind staff. Bring cash as the POS is not available (at least until August 2024).

14/08/2024: Beautiful mountain hut in a strategic position. Average food. Average account. Terrible service: very disorganised, they don't even have numbers at the tables so the two waitresses got the orders mixed up. It took us 40 minutes to get the right drink order. They cleared the table of the glasses of those who were there before us after 1 hour and 20 minutes. For the food it took more than an hour with the excuse of "we only have one chef" even if there wasn't a full house. The waitresses warn you that you will have to wait but not how long and above all they cannot give you updates on the wait after you have ordered. It's really a shame, a disservice like this has never happened to me in any mountain hut in South Tyrol.

23/07/2024: Buon ristorante,tanti posti a sedere ma pochi parcheggi privati rispetto a ospiti,si paga in stalli molto vicini,..ottimo pranzo con prodotti tipici..cortesia e gentili.locale spazioso e tutto ben curato...prezzi nella norma per una località turistica-
