21/10/2025: A very welcoming atmosphere, finally cloth napkins, excellent classic pizza (not gourmet or Neapolitan-style), long-standing, very professional owners (sometimes lacking a smile). Highly recommended if you're looking for atmosphere and classic pizza (in my experience, but there's also cuisine)!

28/09/2025: The pizza is highly recommended. The atmosphere is lovely and very well-maintained. Unfortunately, we felt rather intrusive as guests. The service, I think it was the owners, was unfortunately very dismissive and made you feel unwelcome. We certainly won't be coming back.

17/12/2025: e worse service I have had at a restaurant in a long time. We stood in a queue outside in the snow for nearly 15 mins until someone acknowledged us. When we made progress and waited inside a waitress asked me to stand on te other side even though I was not bothering anyone. I was trying to explain that I was cold and before I could even explain the waitress pushed me to the other side. I asked her not to touch me and on her way back from the terrace she had a platter in her band and bumped into me and started screaming me saying it was the reason I had to move. I was never ever shouted at by a waitress and find this pretty unacceptable. Do not go there at any cost unless you want to be shouted at. She is blond with straight mid length hair. If you want to keep your dignity and not be humiliated stay away from this place. And by the way she never apologised or felt remotely guilty. I asked to speak to a manager but no one showed up. Not sure anyone cares.

15/12/2025: Our go-to place for fried eggs with speck and rosti. The homemade hash browns always have a nice crunch to them.

29/07/2025: Our friends stayed at this hotel during the winter, therefor me, my wife and another couple decided to check the hotel for our future trips. We live in Miami and come to Italy, San Cassiano area specifically, to hide from the Sumer heat in Miami. We called in advance few days prior and inquired about the massages and the dinner. What is the better way to check the hotel?! We reserved massages and reserved the dinner table. My wife called several times to confirm the pricing. The answer was, because we were not staying at the hotel we just “pay for the massages and the dinner”. After getting very mediocre massages in the not very clean congested spa and paying the bills at the spa, we proceeded upstairs to go to the restaurant, when we were informed about paying another 70 euros per person “for the entry”. This was out of line and a total surprise to us. The Front Desk deputy manager was very rude. We asked for the Manager to stop by. Michelle Albertelli was not helpful at all. We obviously did not stay for dinner and left. This is the LHW? This is the Service? We did not go to the restaurant and obviously did look at the rooms for the future, but, though they claimed that the hotel was renovated, judging by the Spa, it was filthy. The showers, the tiny lockers, toilets were filthy. The important thing is that the Front Desk people were rude. It should never happen at LHW property! 0 ⭐️!

29/07/2025: This property may carry the Leading Hotels of the World label, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that standard. Setting and decor is old and rundown , the service philosophy seems to revolve around charging extra for absolutely everything — often without warning. From basic amenities to services you’d reasonably expect to be included in a hotel of this caliber, nearly everything comes with an unexpected fee. Instead of feeling pampered, you feel like you're being upsold at every turn. It’s disappointing and leaves a sour taste. Luxury isn’t just about the look — it’s about the guest experience. And here, that experience feels transactional, not hospitable. Definitely not the seamless, elevated stay one would expect from a member of LHW. Extremely underwhelming spa and massage experience. The massage was poorly executed, felt rushed, and completely lacked any professionalism or technique. The spa area itself is tiny and cramped, offering none of the comfort or luxury you would expect. The pool is small and uninviting, the showers are bare — no shampoo, conditioner, or body products provided. No brushes, no hair products, no amenities at all. Everything felt like an afterthought. This is not a relaxing or rejuvenating environment by any standard. Definitely not worth the cost or the time. Would not return or recommend. But the worse was interaction with few members of the staff that insisted on changing us the fee for spa entrance after we paid 150 euro for our poor massages for each and were planning to have dinner for 4 right after. When we called 4 to 5 days in advance, we were told by two staff members that there was no separate entrance fee if you’re having a spa treatment or dinner. We were planning to have both. On the way out of the spa we were asked to pay another 300 for entrance to the “ magnificent “ spa. They could not produce any email confirmation re those charges. We left the hotel very disappointed.

16/03/2025: Ho festeggiato alla grande il mio compleanno. Ottima cena.Ottimo servizio molto attento. E per finire ci hanno trasferito nella sala lounge bar con musica dal vivo per festeggiare.Ci hanno fatto ballare,cantare e a mezzanotte anche la torta con tanto di auguri cantati. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel e questo lounge bar.festeggiato alla grande il mio compleanno.

16/03/2025: I celebrated my birthday in style. Excellent dinner. Excellent, very attentive service. And to top it all off, they moved us to the lounge bar with live music to celebrate. They had us dancing, singing, and even a cake at midnight, complete with a happy birthday song. I highly recommend this hotel and this lounge bar. Thank you so much for everything. 💓💓

01/08/2025: I used to live next to the shop 10 years ago when they were still operating in Via Brennero. I always loved their icecream. Fresh ingredients and very nice poeple. I live abroad, today I was around Via Maccani, I craved an ice cream, I entered the first ice creamery and I found out it was them! It was such a find! It had been at least 10 years and I didn’t know they had moved here! Highly recommend it!!!

20/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Excellent stay, perfect structure, good food, young and welcoming staff, rooms always tidy and clean. Excellent location for the cable car (2 minutes walk)

07/11/2025: One of the few traditional restaurants left in Eppan, without any pretension. From the workers' menu to the regular menu, there's something for everyone. The pizza is exactly how a pizza should be: thin crust and plenty of toppings. Excellent value for money. If you want a thick crust, look for a "Pizza al taglio." Of course, the service is also praised. Cheers!

01/12/2025: The restaurant is conveniently located, with parking in front of the entrance. The decor is modern and mountain-style. The menu is typical, but the prices aren't what you'd find on Google. The dumplings aren't a trio of different flavors, but rather a single variety with speck and strudel with vanilla sauce. I'd return, although the dumplings are way overpriced for how little they're made with... the broth is good.

01/12/2025: Very nice place, very friendly staff. We had the pizza, which was super good: light dough, soft crust, and quality ingredients. Average prices. We'll be back.

25/10/2025: Very good restaurant at the foot of the funicular. You might think it's a tourist trap, but it's not at all. The food is good; it's not haute cuisine, but it's not completely industrial. The staff is friendly and helpful. I tried a specialty dish and it was good. Good value for money with a beautiful view. I recommend it.

16/10/2025: We were there on a sunny autumn day. The service was super friendly and quick, the food was excellent, and the view was breathtaking. We had dumplings and Wiener Schnitzel. We almost went to another restaurant because of the mixed reviews. Luckily, we were spontaneously swayed by the busy sun terrace.

08/12/2025: Everything seemed excellent, the location and the food, until I noticed a small white larva, typical of flour and grains, floating in my barley soup. I sent it back, and the waiter offered to remake it, but by then I was disgusted. But the real surprise was being charged for it and having to ask for it to be removed from the bill. After a slight protest from the waiter, who reminded us he'd offered to remake the soup, he removed it from the bill. Poor treatment given the lack of hygiene and quality of the raw materials demonstrated.
