07/05/2026: Great place and great hosts. We have been there twice (lunch and dinner). The owner is kind and helpful, and patient when we struggled to decide. Excellent and affordable wine by the glass (bottles as well, of course).

We arrive as the sun is setting in all its brilliance. #ChefAndrea, #HotelGarden in #Siena is my host. The magic prevails during a continuous presentation of seafoods creatively prepared & presented by Chef Raffaele DeRosa The #waitstaff serve us emoting much pride of everything Chef Raffaele has created. Fresh seafoods are sourced locally. Many house specialties. Chef #Raffaele’s #wife also arrives to greet us with much enthusiasm to delight us with every course. 06/05/2026: The food was very good but just not perfect enough for the maximum score. The atmosphere and service, however, earn all the stars, as does the value for money.
05/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were delighted with our meal. The pasta was bursting with flavor, creating a delicious bouquet. The pizzas, besides being beautiful, were generously topped and thoroughly enjoyed. Furthermore, the service was excellent—warm, friendly, and accommodating. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it!

01/05/2026: Beautiful location in the center. It offers typical local dishes. The selection of cured meats and cheeses is highly recommended. The bruschetta is remarkable, especially the chicken liver one. The quality first courses are also excellent. The friendly and very helpful staff deserves a special mention.
30/03/2026: Not everyone can do this job. The prices are average. There are no second courses. The first course arrived cold. You have to be careful when writing the bill; it's unpleasant for the customer to question it. If you don't notice right away, you'll be badly ripped off. Not recommended. Regarding your response, he put us in a room across from the register. A coat of paint would be nice, especially around the light switch. Accept criticism. Everything helps improve.

It's a very beautiful place in the heart of San Gimignano.
I ate very well; from appetizers to desserts, there were many interesting dishes.
The service was excellent; the waiter treated us very well.
The bill was in line with the price.
Honorable mention for the very well-curated and extensive wine list.

03/05/2026: Terrible experience overall, both in terms of quality and service, with an ignorant and rude owner. Frozen, almost mummified croissants were displayed for €1.40 each. We ordered two, plus a cappuccino and a coffee. I'm attaching a receipt to prove the price increase at the register, justified by the "table service." The insult? We brought everything to our table ourselves, and eating at the counter is impossible.
They deserve to close down, for the "service" they provide to their unfortunate customers and for the damage they've done to Italian restaurants.
P.S. In a REAL pastry shop just a few steps away, excellent breakfast at a fair price!
02/05/2026: The lasagna did not have any ragu bolognese inside just bechamel and pasta and was cold on the inside.

01/02/2026: What struck me most was the staff's extreme courtesy, politeness, kindness, and attentiveness. The location, too, deserves a 10/10, where peace and tranquility reign supreme amidst the green Tuscan hills. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, with absolutely everything you could possibly need! Highly recommended!
14/01/2026: If you're staying in San Gimignano, I highly recommend this place.
The breakfast is delicious, and there's a wide variety of desserts.
The homemade cakes are all delicious.
I had dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant,
and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly.
The room was in great condition. The Cypress Road access road to the hotel was also fantastic!

12/05/2026: A pleasant surprise in the back streets of San Gimignano. It offers traditional dishes, very well prepared. The place is small, so it's best to book in advance, but it's definitely worth a try. The owner is very kind, and the service is attentive and prompt. The ingredients used are excellent, and the value is excellent. If you stop here for a snack, I recommend trying the lampredotto sandwich; it's truly delicious. Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: Having found no availability at the restaurant we'd chosen, this place was recommended to us. We couldn't have been more fortunate.
A small restaurant with only a few seats, we were treated like never before, with top-quality products paired with meticulous attention to detail.
We ordered charcuterie and cheese platters and a mix of tartare and carpaccio, all delicious.
Alex looked after us perfectly, a great guy and very knowledgeable.

14/02/2026: I'll just say we waited two hours for our food, which was unacceptable.
The tartare was good, the pear and cheese parcels were 6-, the sliced steak was terrible.
The waiter was also very embarrassed, so much so that he offered us grappa.
I wouldn't go back.

04/05/2026: They didn't give us a room at the hotel. They took us to a house across the street. The room was very basic, and the bathroom was old and outdated. The shower was tiny and difficult to use, and the toilet cistern was broken; we had to hit it to get it to work. It was very expensive for the awful room they gave us. I don't recommend it. Photos attached.
20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.
