29/12/2024: In a place like Pienza, beautiful but in recent years increasingly known and visited by the general public, a little place very far from the "commercial" and tourist offer that you might expect (and which they often foist on you in the area). Here, however, you meet tourists, but also locals and people passing through like us who ended up there by chance during a storm and have been coming back every time since. The open kitchen is genuine and homemade, the quality of the products (all zero km) excellent and the service familiar and attentive. A tiny place, but the owner always finds a place if he can. Absolutely recommended, from Tuscan appetizers to delicious pici with cantucci and vin santo. Truly not to be missed. After some time, today 12.29.2024 I confirm the previous reviews. A special mention for the owner, always present but discreet in his elegant friendliness, who this time also delighted us with his personal playlist (very pleasant!). Anyone who doesn't appreciate the writings present everywhere, in my opinion, doesn't understand the spirit of the place, which is precisely to ask those who pass by to "leave a trace". We will be back, as always.

22/07/2024: A fixed stop for two years now, a place that you absolutely must try. It's a place where my girlfriend and I felt pampered. A restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, a beautiful location located in a former convent all in stone, delicious dishes and a special mention to the staff who pampers you by telling you stories about the wines that are recommended based on the courses, at least that's what they did with us Monica is a girl who should be an example for the waiter profession. Their tiramisu and ravioli with ossobuco are delicious, not to mention the pork belly cooked for 24 hours; my girlfriend also really liked the pasta with lemon cream. We thank everyone again and in particular Monica for this one-of-a-kind experience, we will be back again!!

20/07/2024: The service and atmosphere of this restaurant were very good. However, among the foods I ordered, some were delicious and some were not so tasty. The salad and cold pumpkin soup were delicious, but the pasta I ate as the main dish wasn't very tasty.

05/01/2025: Siamo stati in questo piccolo ristorantino nel centro di Pienza per pranzo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Affettati e formaggi freschissimi e piatti toscani preparati bene, con prezzi onesti. In bottega poi si può acquistare qualche prodotto tipico.

01/01/2025: Unfortunately I have to give one star but if I could I would have given 0. We took two pappardelle with wild boar ragout and they looked good too. It's a shame that when we went to the cash register to pay, from behind the counter we saw the plastic packages of pappardelle ready to be put only in the microwave. I do something like this at my house. If I go to a restaurant where they offer the dishes on the menu, I expect them to come fresh from a kitchen. You suck!

12/01/2025: Well-kept hotel at the beginning of the town, with its own restaurant. Spacious rooms (there are stairs) and clean. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. We spent New Year's Eve here, I would like to point out an excellent dinner with an à la carte menu, which I appreciated very much, and reasonable prices. The restaurant has around 30 seats, and this has favored a calm atmosphere and particular attention to the success of the dishes. So a New Year's Eve that fully met my expectations. The town is very suggestive. The only flaw is the road to reach it, decidedly tortuous. The thermal baths of Saturnia are located about 40 km away.

02/01/2025: Small typical tavern, very kind staff (one man show) in the sense that they do everything! 😜 The owner is really nice and cheers up the environment as well as explaining the dishes well! Pici with top wild boar and Florentine... well, you can judge from the photo 😜 We will be back!!!!
