04/05/2026: A very cute bar in the center of Montalcino. It's small inside, but has a lovely outdoor area next to a stunning staircase. The service is very youthful, with friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect for a refreshing break.

21/06/2026: We were the second couple in the bar in the morning hours, so in total 4 guests. We waited 10 minutes, and as no one showed up we went to grab our coffee at the bar. We were told it is not self service, but that they are busy. Unimaginable that three bartenders cannot serve two tables (one of which already had their coffee)…
The coffee was alright, one of the young male bartenders was also very nice. The view from the indoor seating area is divine. The prices more than fair.

27/05/2026: While walking in Montalcino with our dog, we were caught unawares by a downpour.
We sought shelter and refreshment at this restaurant. Even though we were a little wet, and especially our dog...we were greeted with big smiles and extreme kindness.
We ordered a small mixed platter and two glasses of wine.
The waiter was truly super kind and patient, although unfortunately my partner was on a somewhat restrictive diet, and despite everything, they went out of their way to accommodate our requests.
The appetizer was delicious, and despite it being the small one...it was incredibly generous.
I have nothing but praise for the restaurant and the staff, a true example of professionalism, kindness, and understanding.

04/06/2026: The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service timing let the experience down.
For the starters, all dishes arrived together as expected. However, when it came to the main course, the steaks were served well before the side dishes. In fact, two of us had finished our steaks before the sides even arrived.
I hoped this was just a one-off mistake, but the same issue happened with dessert. The three of us ordered two tiramisus and one coffee with biscuits. The coffee and biscuits arrived 7–10 minutes before the tiramisus, meaning one person had effectively finished their dessert before the rest of the table had even been served.
These kinds of service delays disrupt the flow of a meal and take away from the shared dining experience. The staff were very apologetic, which was appreciated, but consistently poor timing between dishes is what prevents this restaurant from being a 5-star experience. The food itself was excellent, but the kitchen and service coordination needs improvement.

14/06/2026: Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: I thought I'd be licking my lips, but just looking at the dish made me understand what kind of taste it could be. The pasta says homemade, but it seemed like it was store-bought, smooth and overcooked pasta with a dry, flavorless sauce. Never again.

26/12/2025: The structure, although obsolete, has a truly beautiful location, perhaps one of the best in the whole country... having finished the positive notes, probably the dirtiest structure I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The neglect, the lack of cleanliness, the poor quality of the breakfast should be avoided.

21/04/2026: Absolutely loved this place! The view overlooking Montalcino was breathtaking and perfect for our dinner with a stunning backdrop. The food was incredible, full of rich flavors and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our waiter Lendi was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. It made the whole experience even more special. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!
07/04/2026: A wonderful experience in Montalcino, with an excellent selection of wines in the center of town and truly superb cuisine. Excellent service, led by maître d' Lendi, and dishes prepared by chef Imma, part of the Maccari group. I'll be back. Bravo!

20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!
07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders)
Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut.
Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen.
Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen.
Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.

03/08/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante per la sua vicinanza alla struttura dove soggiornavamo, e si è rivelata una scelta perfetta. L’esperienza è stata davvero eccellente: piatti tipici toscani preparati con cura e ingredienti genuini, accompagnati dalla calorosa accoglienza dei proprietari, sempre gentili e sorridenti. Consigliatissimi i pici all’aglione fatti a mano, le tagliatelle al tartufo e l’imperdibile pepata della locanda. Una tappa che vale assolutamente la pena! Silvia e Siraj
20/07/2025: Locanda a gestione familiare, ottima la proposta di piatti, situata fuori Montalcino sulla strada per l’abbazia di Sant’Antimo, non è il consueto ristorante acchiappa turisti con magari poveri cingalesi a sgobbare in cucina. Padrone di casa molto cordiale così come la signora di casa che sotto un accento ormai toscano nasconde un’anima ischitana, aiutati dal giovanotto di casa molto sollecito nell’accontentare le richieste dei clienti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

10/07/2025: Ci sono stato con amici per ben due sere di seguito, abbiamo cenato all’ esterno dove ti accoglie subito Stefano con la sua simpatia e cordialità , la prima sera cena con Fiorentina davvero Top, si scioglieva in bocca a dire poco, la seconda sera con il piatto tipico, pici con ragù di cinghiale e con ragù bianco di chianina , ottimi! Servizio rapido e cortese,la lista dei vini è notevole, anche i dolci della casa sono buonissimi, prezzi nella norma, super consigliato!
05/07/2025: Attrape touriste. À éviter. Petite portion, pas cuit, pas de goût. Franchement, il y a plein d’autres restaurants qui valent le détour. Je ne vais pas les descendre mais la nourriture n’est pas terrible. Accueil sans plus.
