19/10/2025: The lunch was spectacular. The owner helped us choose the wine, which turned out to be one of the best of our trip. The wine list is excellent, featuring Brunellos from 1998 to 2022. The pasta is truly outstanding — I highly recommend it. The rabbit didn’t have much meat, but the cheese with honey was wonderful — definitely recommended.

20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!

07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders) Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut. Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen. Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen. Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.

09/10/2025: Terrible service. The waiter and waitress kept saying there were only two of them to serve the restaurant, and then they simply disappeared. It took 15 minutes to bring the water, another 15 minutes to bring the wine, another hour to bring the cold main course (steak and potatoes), and a completely bland and poorly prepared salad. I went to pay the bill at the cashier...so I wouldn't have to wait like everyone else. Long wait, bad food, terrible service.

07/09/2025: We had a fantastic experience here. To our great surprise, the bartender/sommelier, Jo, was Flemish—it's always nice to run into a fellow Belgian on vacation. He gave us a very passionate and engaging explanation of the various wines we were tasting. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

We had the opportunity to see how organic wine is produced from scratch, realizing how all the care translates into flavor. 07/06/2025: Heerlijke koffie. Ben je op zoek naar een sfeervol terras, dan is dit the place to be in Montalcino. Neem ook even een kijkje binnen voor een bijzonder mooi interieur uit 1888.
