04/03/2026: We had one of the best charcuterie boards ever and some amazing wine there. The owner is very kind and generous, I highly recommend this place! Thank you for today’s hospitality!

08/02/2026: I was at the restaurant recently, and to be honest, the food wasn't bad. The only flaw was the owner in the jacket. We ordered an appetizer of crostini and chicken livers, pappardelle, wild boar, and veal in Brunello. After bringing the dishes, he told us the veal wasn't ready yet and would take at least 30 minutes to an hour. We initially decided to wait and started eating. The owner brought us more crostini while we waited, of his own free will, due to the inconvenience. After a good half hour, we asked about the veal, but he told us it would take another hour. We had a visit to Antinori in the afternoon, so we decided to leave. When it came time to pay, here's the deal. In the first bill, he listed not one, but three portions of crostini, and the veal that never arrived. We immediately exposed him by pointing out the mistake, and he took the veal away. At that point, teased, we also disputed the two additional portions of crostini that had arrived, which we hadn't requested but had been brought by him due to the mistake. He dismissively removes one of the two additions. Recommended place for the food, but he should learn to run a restaurant. The atmosphere needs rethinking; put two split air conditioning units instead of the stove in the middle of the room.

20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!

07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders) Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut. Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen. Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen. Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.

19/03/2026: A consistently elegant restaurant. The traditional dishes are well-prepared, but overall, they don't stand out compared to other restaurants in Ilcine, even those less highly regarded and more basic. The wine list is impeccable, with many local labels. Compared to other restaurants, the prices are slightly above average.

15/03/2026: The food was outstanding. The service was very strange. They practically kicked us out. They wouldn't even let us finish chewing our food before asking if we wanted dessert. The same thing happened with the appetizers. They were very rushed and cold when serving us. You feel more like a nuisance than a customer.

15/02/2026: Limited seating, and a kitchen that closes early. But highly recommended: a romantic dinner in the small, intimate second room with an excellent selection of wines, including a cheese platter accompanied by honey and jams. Two tartare bases with a variety of flavors are delicious, with excellent truffle and slaw. The selection of nearly 400 gins helps round out the evening. The staff is young, but highly trained and, above all, friendly.

02/01/2026: I found this wine shop by chance on a cold January day and liked it. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend using cloth tablecloths and slightly increasing the amount of wine in your glass.

12/06/2025: Nice relaxing bar with tables outside in front of the Palazzo dei Priori, the owner (Italian originally from Laos) is very kind.

11/05/2025: My wife and I just had a glass of wine and we got local dried meat and baked bread to go with it. Around "aperitivo" 👍👏

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!

15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)

16/02/2026: I had the Florentine steak for the first time, and it was delicious!!! The service was excellent!

02/11/2025: This is our go-to spot for a great salad and lunch in general. The lettuce and produce are always very fresh, the service first rate, and the passing parade of people makes it a fun spot. If you’re a bit hungrier, try the Tagliata, one of the best I’ve had in town.

21/02/2026: During the booking and information request process, I encountered a lot of arrogance and rudeness. If I had half a mind to rely on them, they definitely changed my mind.

09/12/2025: We booked two nights at the resort, with super-spacious rooms, carefully furnished with period furniture yet perfectly efficient. Aldo provided a professional welcome at the tables of a rustic restaurant with elegant furnishings and tablecloths. Plates, porcelain, and crystal glasses were provided for the high-quality wines produced on the adjacent property, and a guided tour of the cellar is available. Places like the Cordella wine resort are truly rare, unique, and unconventional. Only for connoisseurs. Personalized service is available at the restaurant, even in low season. The key is to understand that you are staying in a property with just a few units, and communication with management is crucial to obtaining all the information you need to make the most of this wonderful property, tastefully constructed and managed by the people who have made the current level of service possible. I finally extended my stay to indulge in the super service of the very friendly Aldo, and we dined three out of three nights at the restaurant, where you feel pampered and at home. Top-notch ingredients, top-notch wines from the same winery!!! I've already extended my stay. If I was a little skeptical at first, I've changed my mind.!!! The key is to introduce yourself to Aldo and ask for advice!!!

25/01/2026: Old fashioned tavern, homemade pasta, everything very good, generous portions, good family restaurant, but very very good, nice place, we were 12 people for dinner, we were satisfied, thanks to the next one

10/12/2025: An unpretentious osteria serving traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pici with wild boar ragù, liver, and rabbit in Brunello wine. A homey atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The house wine and homemade tart were very good (it reminded me so much of the one my grandmother used to make when I was little!!!). Good value for money.

26/12/2025: The structure, although obsolete, has a truly beautiful location, perhaps one of the best in the whole country... having finished the positive notes, probably the dirtiest structure I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The neglect, the lack of cleanliness, the poor quality of the breakfast should be avoided.

15/09/2025: Stayed one night, quiet place, excellent cleanliness, great breakfast, and friendly staff. I recommend it 🥂
