17/10/2025: Villa Sermolli has incredible charm. Built on a hillside, it features numerous stairs and corners inside, making it a real adventure to get from point A to point B. Stunning views, stunning ceiling paintings, an old cooking area with an open fireplace, an old bread oven... to name just a few highlights. The breakfast was delicious, and when the temperature permits, there's a lovely garden for breakfast outdoors. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was also larger than average. Everyone was very nice, and we received a very warm welcome. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend here.

01/03/2026: An excellent experience at this restaurant, renowned for the quality and freshness of its ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, made even more enjoyable by the owner's friendliness and helpfulness. We started with a delicious Sorrento-style mussel soup, truly exquisite and rich in flavor. Next, we chose a mixed fried fish dish: perfectly crispy, light, and not at all greasy, a sign of excellent frying. The next course, trofie with pistachio pesto, was equally excellent: an intense and flavorful pesto, enriched with generous and irresistible pistachio crumbs. To conclude, we enjoyed a basket of berry filo pastry with Chantilly cream, a balanced and very pleasant dessert. A restaurant I highly recommend!

09/11/2025: Excellent meat dinner. The tartare was good, the savory strudel could be improved. Two truly delicious marbled steaks, tender and flavorful. Good wine, good gin and tonics, a wonderful experience. The bill was reasonable, €70/person.

14/03/2026: Terrible, both in terms of customer service and the property itself. Check-in and Security: Upon arrival, the "jack of all trades" (receptionist/waiter) took 10 minutes to find my reservation, then gave me the key without a word, without telling me where my room was or the meal times. I wasn't even asked for my name or identification. Service and Food: During the only lunch we had, the waiter literally threw the tablecloth and cutlery (wrong ones: two knives for me and two forks for my guest) on the table. Breakfast was an insult: packaged cakes in pieces, a very limited selection, and, in plain sight, a pile of dirty plates and glasses from previous guests that had never been cleared. Privacy and Cleaning: On my last morning, returning from breakfast at 7:45, I found the staff already inside my room cleaning. An unacceptable invasion of privacy: I could have still been in bed or in the bathroom. Property Condition: Cushions and chairs with dark stains and obvious dirt. Black mold in the shower, dirt accumulated in crevices in the walls, sagging and crooked furniture. Definitely in the top three worst places I've stayed in during my countless business trips.

31/12/2025: Gabriella Michelozzi and her sister Stefania are emblematic figures of modern shepherds, who run the farm and agritourism "IL CANTO DI PRIMAVERA DEL SOGNO ANTICO" (THE SPRING SONG OF THE ANCIENT DREAM), located in Quarrata, near Pistoia. The farm is renowned for its cheeses, cured meats, and its social and educational agriculture activities. Gabriella (the Shepherdess) is also associated with stories of other young women who have chosen shepherding, such as Diamante Santini of "Ninfe di Bosco," who transformed an ancient tradition into a modern goat farming business in the Pistoia area. You fall in love with the Shepherdess immediately, at first sight. Gabriella (the Shepherdess) and her sister Stefania left FORM to seek LIFE. For the thought, the place, and what the Michelozzi sisters do, I give them 5 stars because there are no others.

09/12/2025: We stumbled upon Canto di Primavera del Sogno Antico by chance, and it was a wonderful discovery. The menu is designed by the staff and is all Tuscan, with authentic products: delicious cheeses, spectacular cured meats, and excellent wine. After lunch, the owner even showed us their animals, a truly lovely experience. A simple, authentic place, perfect for everyone. (It was a little difficult to find the restaurant.)

26/02/2026: Dinner in the Limonaia, an intimate, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere. Soft, warm lighting and ambient music played at a moderate volume. The maître d' welcomes you and leads you on a typically and delightfully Tuscan food and wine journey. And the bill is absolutely adequate for the quality of the service. Needless to say: everything was perfect.
