04/09/2025: The place was truly elegant, with a wonderful view and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. We ate very well, the quality cuisine was good, with adequate portions. The only downside was the final bill, which was perhaps a little high for what we ate.

28/09/2025: We stopped for lunch. A simple trattoria with several tables. The atmosphere is family-friendly, just the way I like it. For our first course, we chose pasta alla boscaiola, with excellent sauce and pasta cooked al dente, well-cooked, and a decent portion. For our second course, tripe was also well-cooked, although I prefer the "non-spongy" type. Peas and spinach were served as a side dish. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: A good pizzeria that also hosts some musical events. The place is tiny but well-kept and welcoming in its own way, and above all, clean. The pizzas are delicious and easy to digest, with a light dough, and the chefs are willing to make them thinner or more crusty upon request. The waitresses are also very kind and hardworking. This evening I even left something there, and they were kind enough to call. I highly recommend it!

17/09/2025: The best pastry shop I have tried to date, a quality that cannot be described without going there and truly every obstacle, every dessert, a journey into taste, trying it to understand why these women really have something extra.

11/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop I might even say the best in Montecatini Beautiful cakes and, above all, delicious!!!! Great place for an aperitif, a cup of tea, or a breakfast to remember

16/10/2025: A very large bar, with outdoor tables as well, facing a park with a lake. They make very good artisanal ice cream, homemade biscuits, and then they have sweet and savory options for breakfast and quick lunches. In the evening they do aperitifs with appetizers. I recommend it to anyone who wants to meet up for a moment of company and relaxation.

05/10/2025: Norcineria Orsi, located in the historic center of Pistoia, needs no introduction. It's been around since 1922, and the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The always friendly owner offers a selection of dishes that in Tuscany are considered "world-class" because of their deliciousness, ranging from soups to meat dishes to cured meats, all top-notch. I'll only post a couple of photos; you can discover the full story by going there!

23/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in Pistoia. Typical Pistoia food, just like your grandmother made it. Friendly and attentive service. The taglieri con cocolli is well-served, as are the other dishes. My favorite is the penne con lampredotto. Divine.

28/09/2025: We fell in love with the location and the two owners, Thomas and Raniero, who are both professionals. I'm leaving this review especially for you, future spouses. At Amici del Colle, we found professionalism and attention to detail for our wedding day. They helped us with everything and made us happy! Large, fenced parking lot with the option of leaving your car overnight, as they have a shuttle service that takes you to your booked hotel and picks you up in the morning. At our wedding, we had several vintage cars and were worried about how to reassure the owners of these cars, but Amici del Colle put our minds at ease by placing a valet at the entrance who helped with the various maneuvers for all the guests. They also recommended other vendors because we weren't from the area; they were all excellent and knowledgeable. We didn't have a wedding planner, so we were a little worried about the table settings. We asked Raniero how we wanted them, and he was EXCELLENT at setting up the tables just the way I liked them. Let's talk about the food: WE MADE A GREAT IMPRESSION!! All the guests complimented us on how well they ate. We had made an unusual request for a wedding: we wanted beer instead of wine, and not only did they accommodate our request, but we also had a choice of three delicious craft beers. I didn't even have to worry about the cake; they took care of it, and it was one of the best I've ever had at a wedding. Let's talk about the location: beautiful, well-kept, clean, and, above all, with a plan A if it's sunny, and a plan B if it rains. I'll conclude by talking about the prices: in our opinion, given the quality of the food, the beauty of the location, and the fact that they took away any problems and worries, we paid a fair price and were happy. Also, because the complex provided the wedding cake, the shuttle service, and we, the newlyweds, received a complimentary hotel room. So, young future spouses, we strongly recommend you consider this location for your big day, because from experience, we can tell you that ours was wonderful and unique.

17/08/2025: We were there for August and everything went very well, the place was clean and tidy and the service was excellent.

05/10/2025: I'd say it's all good if, obviously, you like mussels and unusual foods. I'm not a fan of mussels, but I tried them anyway, then I added a starter that was decidedly strange, even in taste. The desserts, on the other hand...amazing. The atmosphere is quite simple, clean, and the service impeccable. Recommended.

21/09/2025: My husband and I are strongly disappointed with the service of the restaurant. We came across this place while walking around the town in the evening. We really loved the decorations so we decided to spend time in this restaurant and drink some wine. We ordered the wine and were about to enjoy our time. When the waitress came for the second time and found out we are not going to order the dinner, she took away the whole place setting right away, even the table cloth, leaving just the bare table. It made us feel like a second-class customers. The charm of the place was gone at that time. The waitress even didn’t come to us with the check when we asked. Somebody else was sent even though she attended to all the tables. We have decided to leave the comment because we have never been treated like this before. If you read this comment, Please don’t treat your future customers this way. It’s unkind and it’s not appropriate for a restaurant.

02/10/2025: The food was delicious. The view was beautiful. The service was very friendly. I fell over a small doorstep, which made it impossible to walk home. The restaurant woman who drove us home was extremely helpful and concerned.

30/09/2025: The best thing is the view, without a doubt, just for that it is worth visiting, avoid rainy days to enjoy the views better.

05/08/2025: Excellent food. The service was courteous but, in my opinion, overly present. The outdoor setting is pleasant and comfortable. The apparent elegance of the service clashes with the chair covers inside, in front of the register: the stains on the seat backs make you forget the delicious food you've just eaten.

27/09/2025: A wonderful place. I went for dinner with my partner one evening in late September. We ate inside, in a simple and delightful room, warmed by a stove. The set menu included an appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, and compotes (homemade), two first courses (cheese gnocchi and tagliatelle with mushrooms), a second course (wild boar peppered pasta), and two side dishes (green beans and potatoes), dessert (freshly made ricotta fritters served warm), a bottle of house red, water, bread, and fried bread. €56 for two. Also suitable for vegetarians (I'm vegetarian and found them to be extremely welcoming and accommodating). Perfect timing, efficient and no-frills service. It's unbelievably good. If you're in the area, don't miss it, but know that it's also worth a detour. I was extremely happy to leave a tip: places like this are rare these days. Thank you for making us feel so good!

13/09/2025: Enchanting location, option of an hour-long hike in the woods, set menu, plentiful and perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff. Fair price. The upstairs dining room is beautiful.
