Although it's hidden and may seem small from the outside, it's spacious inside. Above all, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the food is excellent.
If you need to eat in Pistoia, this is your place.

16/11/2025: The room is run-down, with the flooring cracking due to the high humidity. The bathroom door only opens halfway because it bumps into the bidet. The passage from the bedroom (without a window) to the bathroom has a ceiling that drops down to 1.80 meters, so taller people are at risk of hitting their heads. Rude reception staff. Extremely uncomfortable mattresses.
01/11/2025: Located "above" a river, great views from the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, good prices. The room has some complaints, though: a few cobwebs here and there, and the thermostat doesn't work. The bathroom could use some improvement, with no shower stall and a crack in the toilet seat.

18/03/2026: I don't recommend this place because, despite being long-time customers, we were treated like strangers after we ordered a non-alcoholic cake for 10 people for an opponent with a photo and writing on it. In addition to the delay in delivery for the same day, once the cake was opened for the birthday boy, the photo was blurry. The names of the birthday boy and girl were correct, while the wife's name was incorrect, even for someone else. This already ruined this anniversary. Furthermore, the cake was dry, with almost no filling, and there was a risk of it choking. When we reported the matter by phone and text message, we were mocked, saying they would call us back. The managers never did so after a week. Shame!
05/01/2026: Well what can I say, the circle of the Gourmets par excellence 😋 an infinite number of brioches with various fillings from the classic jam to pistachio & co... A special applause for the skill of the lady in creating the cappuccino cream 🥰 Excellent point of reference for those like us who like to pamper ourselves first thing in the morning 🏆

12/12/2025: Nice place, friendly staff (perhaps one a little too much), people lingered at a nearby table (perhaps relatives), and to get their attention, you had to be insistent; however, everything arrived promptly and accurately. The menu was quite limited, perhaps in favor of the few, fresh ingredients. Pappardelle with wild boar, tripe, and wild boar stew. Well-executed, but nothing special that would make it memorable. The price was in line with the rest; not particularly cheap enough to make it memorable. I'll definitely return here again to check it out.

I've ordered here several times.
The food is always good, but sometimes you have to give it 4 stars because if you're in a hurry, things can get burnt, etc.
The service is 5 stars because they're always kind and helpful.
The atmosphere is nice. A little small, but just right. 4 stars.
They have an extensive menu and there's even a section where every single ingredient and allergy information is listed.
New: pizza with PINSA dough.

04/01/2026: We stopped at this restaurant while passing through, but we were so happy.
We had the cacio e pepe pici with shrimp and the desserts of the day: filo pastry with cream and tortelli made with chestnut flour and ricotta cream... what can I say? Everything was spectacular. The very kind and friendly owner even let us try the mascarpone cream with brigidini... speechless... simple but delicious... it's a shame we're from Turin, and it's a bit inconvenient to travel all the way to Pistoia for dinner, but we've already promised ourselves that we'll definitely stop here this spring on our motorcycles... it's definitely worth it. Congratulations!

17/03/2026: A still water, a Coke, and two toasted sandwiches (poorly made with a slice of ham and not even a hint of cheese, thinner than a finger) for €40. If only they had been well-made and well-filled. Even the staff looked at us rudely because we ordered toasted sandwiches.
15/03/2026: We went there to have some drinks! Their wine and wine glasses were great! Also, the aperitif plate was generous too! Considering their amazing garden and great service, the prices are great!

27/07/2025: They have little trouble speaking a language other than Italian, and they speak even faster if you ask them to repeat something. When the children go to look at the mushrooms, the owner makes it clear in a rather unfriendly/child-unfriendly way that you shouldn't be there. (There's no indication that this is clear.) Basic terrace.
They don't seem to appreciate tourists...
A real shame...

The "Iposonic" menu, a journey into the mind of chef Marco Cahssai
We went for dinner and did the full menu: the Iposonic menu with wine and beverage pairings. It's not your average gourmet dinner; it's truly in a whole other league.
Why it's worth it:
Outstanding quality: Every ingredient is treated with incredible technique. There's nothing banal, not even the cauliflower at the beginning.
The pairing is the real gem: They don't just bring you wine. Finding black tea or craft beer paired with the right dishes completely changes your perception of taste.
Total experience: The location is incredible, but what stays with you is the flavor. The risotto with cuttlefish and taralli and the tongue with 2008 Riesling were the highlights of the evening.
Perfect balance: The flavors move from the punch of the artichoke over the coals to the final freshness of the beetroot and pomegranate without ever losing their edge.
In short: If you want a high-end experience, where technique serves to enhance the flavor rather than hide it, Atman is the place to be. The highest quality and service allow you to enjoy the evening without too many frills.
