Came by myself for a solo dinner and came back with my step mum to enjoy it all again!
I had the risotto and the seabass and both were delicious! Wine also very nice.
Service could be bit better as we felt forgotten about at times but we may have caught them at a busy time.

04/01/2026: We stopped at this restaurant while passing through, but we were so happy.
We had the cacio e pepe pici with shrimp and the desserts of the day: filo pastry with cream and tortelli made with chestnut flour and ricotta cream... what can I say? Everything was spectacular. The very kind and friendly owner even let us try the mascarpone cream with brigidini... speechless... simple but delicious... it's a shame we're from Turin, and it's a bit inconvenient to travel all the way to Pistoia for dinner, but we've already promised ourselves that we'll definitely stop here this spring on our motorcycles... it's definitely worth it. Congratulations!

10/05/2026: I ordered a takeout sausage pizza and the employee immediately asked "diavola?" to which I replied, "No, a classic pizza with sausage," and she walked away agreeing. This is the "sausage" pizza I was given (I should point out that the waiter again started with "here's the diavola," and I again specified that I hadn't ordered a diavola but a pizza with sausage, so I thought for some reason they made the diavola differently here, even though it seemed absurd to me). Fortunately, I tolerate spicy food, but it's a serious mistake that absolutely shouldn't be made: if you don't make pizzas with certain ingredients, just specify that and tell them to order another pizza and not make the one the employee thinks is appropriate for the customer. Never again.

18/03/2026: I don't recommend this place because, despite being long-time customers, we were treated like strangers after we ordered a non-alcoholic cake for 10 people for an opponent with a photo and writing on it. In addition to the delay in delivery for the same day, once the cake was opened for the birthday boy, the photo was blurry. The names of the birthday boy and girl were correct, while the wife's name was incorrect, even for someone else. This already ruined this anniversary. Furthermore, the cake was dry, with almost no filling, and there was a risk of it choking. When we reported the matter by phone and text message, we were mocked, saying they would call us back. The managers never did so after a week. Shame!

I remember:
The room was 13.5°C, with the stove still waiting to be turned on.
Dead ants (plenty) on the kitchen counter.
Not exactly a welcoming smile.
The refrigerator was turned off.

And, just to be complete, I don't remember ever ordering takeout.

17/05/2026: We go to this place to listen to a really good band! After dinner because at dinner, in addition to paying rightfully for the food, the place asks for 7 euros per person as a contribution, something never seen before... We go after dinner and rightly consume... 1 beer, 1 glass of wine, 1 gin and lemon, 30!!!! Without a receipt, obviously!!! Now, I'm all for letting everyone work, the times are what they are but not the dishonesty!!!! Shameful!!! Not even in Lucca for the comics!

I've ordered here several times.
The food is always good, but sometimes you have to give it 4 stars because if you're in a hurry, things can get burnt, etc.
The service is 5 stars because they're always kind and helpful.
The atmosphere is nice. A little small, but just right. 4 stars.
They have an extensive menu and there's even a section where every single ingredient and allergy information is listed.
New: pizza with PINSA dough.

The "Iposonic" menu, a journey into the mind of chef Marco Cahssai
We went for dinner and did the full menu: the Iposonic menu with wine and beverage pairings. It's not your average gourmet dinner; it's truly in a whole other league.
Why it's worth it:
Outstanding quality: Every ingredient is treated with incredible technique. There's nothing banal, not even the cauliflower at the beginning.
The pairing is the real gem: They don't just bring you wine. Finding black tea or craft beer paired with the right dishes completely changes your perception of taste.
Total experience: The location is incredible, but what stays with you is the flavor. The risotto with cuttlefish and taralli and the tongue with 2008 Riesling were the highlights of the evening.
Perfect balance: The flavors move from the punch of the artichoke over the coals to the final freshness of the beetroot and pomegranate without ever losing their edge.
In short: If you want a high-end experience, where technique serves to enhance the flavor rather than hide it, Atman is the place to be. The highest quality and service allow you to enjoy the evening without too many frills.
