12/12/2025: Nice place, friendly staff (perhaps one a little too much), people lingered at a nearby table (perhaps relatives), and to get their attention, you had to be insistent; however, everything arrived promptly and accurately. The menu was quite limited, perhaps in favor of the few, fresh ingredients. Pappardelle with wild boar, tripe, and wild boar stew. Well-executed, but nothing special that would make it memorable. The price was in line with the rest; not particularly cheap enough to make it memorable. I'll definitely return here again to check it out.

15/01/2026: We arrived at 8:00 PM and the first course was served at 9:20 PM, after an hour and twenty minutes. The service was very slow. Despite the wait, the first course, the macaroni with duck, was terrible; the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was floating in water. The second course, the chicken tagliata, was undercooked inside and raw. It's dangerous; since it's chicken, it needs to be cooked thoroughly. The dessert was absolutely inedible. We spent around €100 for terrible food.
17/09/2025: Salt of the earth traditional Tuscan restaurant next to the hotel. Good choice for a healthy meal two steps away from the hotel

The "Iposonic" menu, a journey into the mind of chef Marco Cahssai
We went for dinner and did the full menu: the Iposonic menu with wine and beverage pairings. It's not your average gourmet dinner; it's truly in a whole other league.
Why it's worth it:
Outstanding quality: Every ingredient is treated with incredible technique. There's nothing banal, not even the cauliflower at the beginning.
The pairing is the real gem: They don't just bring you wine. Finding black tea or craft beer paired with the right dishes completely changes your perception of taste.
Total experience: The location is incredible, but what stays with you is the flavor. The risotto with cuttlefish and taralli and the tongue with 2008 Riesling were the highlights of the evening.
Perfect balance: The flavors move from the punch of the artichoke over the coals to the final freshness of the beetroot and pomegranate without ever losing their edge.
In short: If you want a high-end experience, where technique serves to enhance the flavor rather than hide it, Atman is the place to be. The highest quality and service allow you to enjoy the evening without too many frills.

17/01/2026: Sunday lunch with five friends.
Chosen because it was the only restaurant not to have a "full house" sign posted outside; we later discovered the reason.
The inhospitality of the "house" is evident from the menu outside: it's written in capital letters that no menu changes, customized portions, or gluten-free options are allowed.
Of course, these are choices, but there are ways and ways.
Moreover, the ways don't improve either the service or the quality of the food.
After a 20-minute wait to order, we make ourselves noticed, and the waitress snaps, making jokes like, "You're not invisible, I'm not ready, I'll come when I can."
The food, then, was truly poor quality. First and second courses tasteless, sauces unrelated, ragù that tasted like it was from the supermarket, and the wines weren't up to par.
At least the place is very beautiful and has a spectacular view; we had a table overlooking the valley. That's the only thing I'd save.
Remember, the important thing isn't selling, but reselling. A little kindness doesn't cost anything.
01/01/2026: Excellent family-run trattoria, I felt right at home.
The menu features all the typical local dishes, from crostoni and platters as appetizers, to tagliatelle with venison or wild boar as first courses, and polenta as second courses.
The wait staff was very courteous and helpful.
Average prices.
Highly recommended!

21/02/2026: Reservation at 8:30 PM, evening with friends. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order. A waiter came by, and when we asked for a first course, he told us that the pasta was sold out. While we searched for something else to order, the waiter impatiently tapped his fingers on the table, as if it were our fault. After 10 minutes, our pasta arrived tasteless, hard, not even a piece of bread (which, if I'm not mistaken, was included in the cover charge). We got up and left shortly after, finishing our order out of respect. The staff was rude, the place was chaotic... there wasn't even room to walk around, and the food was below expectations. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want to avoid an experience like this.
19/01/2026: I went with a group of friends, and we had the assorted Tuscan antipasto and pizza, which was thin and crispy. It was good and reasonably priced, but it's a shame we left there with the smell of food and fried food on our clothes! I don't know if they don't have an exhaust system or if it's malfunctioning; I've never had anything like that happen anywhere else!

22/12/2025: This is my first time at this restaurant, a casual eatery located on the road from Pistoia to Montagnana. I came here with friends. We had pizza cooked in an electric oven for dinner. Traditional pizzas could be better. The quiet atmosphere and the service are excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.
05/10/2025: With recent optinions of the place I was hesitant to go there, but since it's the only place close to the zoo (thats not inside the zoo) I decide to try my luck.
And I can happily say I was not disappointed!
Food was good, so was the beer. Service was also nice, we got a very tasty spicy home made olive to try with bread. Give it a shot!

It's okay that it's a club but it's been a pizzeria for years frequented by many people, it doesn't have a less visible order so without knowing prices you don't know how much appetizers, pizzas etc. cost, not equipped with a Pos another inconvenience not a small one.
I repeat, I agree you are
a club, but when you do business you have to be transparent with customers

02/03/2026: €2.50 for a hot latte? Thieves! And the receipt says "brioche"! I went to pay and said "1 hot latte." The waitress was giving me the receipt when the owner said, "You're spending €2.50!" He obviously ripped me off for some reason.
Plus, they were extremely rude; I said hello to them and they didn't even say hello back!
If barista isn't your thing, change jobs!

12/01/2026: FINDOMESTIC AT THE CHECKOUT
Considering it's not in the center of Florence, nor is it near the cathedral in Pistoia
25 euros for 2 pancakes with strawberries and Nutella (good), 1 coffee, 2 waters, unfortunately a legal theft.
The staff seems friendly, the owner is a creepy guy who looks everywhere.
The pancakes cost maybe 3 euros, a markup like that should be illegal.
Inaccessible for disabled people or parents with little steps, and tables all stuck together.
Make sure you check the price list before ordering.
8 euros for a piece of cake that's worth 2.
Closes at 6 pm, a bit funny.
Never again.
12/01/2026: I work in the restaurant business, and I understand that expenses are high, but the prices at this place are a disrespect to people. 2 slices of cake cost 16 euros. Are you crazy? Display case. With two types of cakes without the price indicated, they're playing on this because if they put the price next to the cakes they wouldn't even sell one. A price list that is written in small print on the side of one of the walls, and you find yourself paying more for them out of shame of refusing them, and reading it for prices that aren't even found in the center of Milan! We're really going beyond the limits of decency. I won't set foot there again and I strongly advise against it! I don't use this word often, but in this case it's appropriate. SHAMEFUL!

27/08/2025: We ate pizza with a soggy dough and an inedible edge, the table setting featured chipped glasses, the service was poor and arrogant, the dessert at 8 euros was a rip-off and the cover charge at 3 euros per person was the same (a sheet of paper with advertising and a glass). In short, we spent a lot and ate badly. I'm sorry for the image we give to foreigners with this service, these are absolutely not prices for Italians.
12/08/2025: This evening we had slow service even though everyone had eaten. The food arrived after 40 minutes and was cold. We took it back, reheated it, and returned it 10 minutes later, cold again. We left the food on the table and paid for what we consumed. Mistakes can only happen to those who work, but not twice in a row after an hour of waiting. €25 for two eggplants and two potatoes. A bad evening.
