Located "above" a river, great views from the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, good prices. The room has some complaints, though: a few cobwebs here and there, and the thermostat doesn't work. The bathroom could use some improvement, with no shower stall and a crack in the toilet seat.

The hotel was built from an old mill. The atmosphere is very pleasant, you can feel the vibe. Both the food and the hotel facilities are OK.

I spent 4 days at this hotel, from August 14th to 17th. Location: Excellent, in a truly peaceful setting surrounded by nature. It has a pool and bar for relaxing afternoons with the whole family. Getting around by car is easy enough to see nearby places. Staff: Always very helpful and friendly, it couldn't be better. The guided tour of their paper mill was very interesting. Room: Large rooms. As other reviews have shown, there can be a musty smell when you enter, but just open the window for 5 minutes and it all goes away. The view of the river is beautiful, very relaxing in the morning. The room is clean. The bathroom is large, but the only flaw, in my opinion, is the lack of a window, as there's only a small fan to extract odors. Our room had air conditioning, although it's certainly not needed in the morning, as opening the windows brings in a lovely fresh breeze. Our room did not have a mini-fridge. Food: Excellent food. Nothing fancy, but everything was excellently prepared. Be prepared, you certainly won't be sent to bed hungry, given the large portions. Breakfast offers a wide selection: sweet, savory, nuts, fruit, vegetables... Price: excellent value, especially considering the charming setting. In short, if you're a bit adaptable, this hotel is perfect for you. If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back, especially to see the places we missed in these few days.

This is a cozy old cottage style hotel. It's like going back in time! Nestled by the river for a peaceful stay. Staff was kind and helpful, and many speak English!
