The service is excellent, Federica super kind and professional like all the other staff. At the counter you will almost always find Francesca and Tiziano... bartenders and bartenders, for me, of excellence... very professional and know how to satisfy every request for cocktails. Dobbiamo dire che tutti i commenti rispecchiano la realtà, il servizio è impeccabile, tutti gentilissimi e attenti. Il cibo è caratteristico toscano con qualche accortezza in più nella cura, tutto di ottima qualità. Assolutamente consigliato!

23/08/2024: Di passaggio a Montecatini decidiamo di cenare in questo ristorante. Ci è piaciuto tutto: dalla qualità dei piatti, alla cortesia dei gestori. Abbiamo preso l’uovo cotto a bassa temperatura e un tris di crudi (veramente eccezionali). Poi un piatto di tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale e frutti di bosco, anche questo veramente ottimo. Infine come secondo il Peposo al Chianti dell’Impruneta e anche qui pienamente soddisfatti. Se passeremo in zona in futuro torneremo sicuramente!

11/08/2024: Excellent bar, I had a piece of pizza for breakfast and I must say that coming from the Fi-Po-Pt plain it was what I needed to cheer me up from this truly unbearable sultry heat, as well as a classic peach juice like I always have. Friendly and helpful sales assistants, I highly recommend it! Obviously you have to make do with parking, we parked the car along the road. I very often review the places I frequent, if I have been helpful let me know with a like!

23/07/2024: An excellent place, the customers are good people, I have never sat alone

22/08/2024: We stayed for 4 days as a base to tour the area. Triple room with poor wifi and barely adequate air conditioning, considering that the phones don't work. Summary cleaning of bathroom never sanitized, they just make the beds and empty the dust and mold bins behind the furniture. Room with 2 separate rooms and only one television, no chairs, no armchairs (because of the TV, three of us found ourselves lying on the bed to only watch RAI, pity). Uncomfortable beds (the double was made up of two coupled single beds) mattresses/base to replace. The bathroom lacks any sort of hanger, the soap dish in the shower is missing. We slept with the drains from the bathroom upstairs on our heads, every time they went to the bathroom at night or in the morning, it sounded like the water was falling on you, a loud and very annoying noise.

21/08/2024: We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Quiet, surrounded by greenery and convenient for visiting Lucca and Pisa. Helpful and very kind staff. Good and plentiful breakfast. Rooms ok

12/08/2024: Super consigliato! Posto al centro della piazza di Montecatini Alto, locale molto caratteristico. Personale accogliente e pronto a rispondere alle richieste del cliente, abbiamo mangiato un tagliere in due e una focaccia con battuta di manzo spettacolare!

12/08/2024: Good evening. I, a vegetarian, went for lunch yesterday (11/08/2024) with my family and friends. While ordering, on the menu we noticed the risotto alla parmigiana (for them the term "parmigiana" means risotto with parmesan only) and the tagliottini with taleggio cheese and mushrooms. We asked the lady (presumably the owner) the ingredients of the tagliottini with taleggio and mushrooms, receiving the answer that it contained what was listed on the menu (and therefore only taleggio and mushrooms). So, for the order I take the risotto while other people at the table take the tagliottini. Since we were all certain that these little bags were vegetarian, I decided to taste them, being very surprised to find speck inside (not indicated on the menu or even by the lady owner when we had specifically asked for their contents). So, I called the waitress who served us to ask her why there was meat inside, unmarked, pointing out to her that this was a serious communication error for those who don't eat meat, like me. So, the waitress has the lady/owner come to our table (the same one who had assured us that the ingredients of the tagliottini were only taleggio cheese and mushrooms) to whom I point out the error in the menu. The owner, who doesn't seem sorry at all, places the blame on me by saying that I should have informed beforehand that I was a vegetarian (when there was no need, as if it says tagliottini taleggio and mushrooms on the menu and the owner herself he reiterated that the ingredients are only those listed, no one would expect meat inside them or anything else). Furthermore, the owner tells me that "they do a bit of everything with meat inside" (they could write down all the ingredients, or say them upon specific request), that this is normal for them and that, in exact words, "vegetarians here usually don't we don't even take them." I was very disappointed by such non-inclusive behavior, I didn't feel accepted at all and no one cared about what happened. I definitely won't return to a place where I'm not welcome. Too bad about the location, which was really beautiful, apart from the passing of the cars near the tables. I would suggest writing the menu much more explicitly, indicating all the ingredients of the dishes, and also reviewing the methods and being more courteous to customers.

04/08/2024: I had lunch at the farmhouse on a sunny Friday afternoon. A little hidden and immersed in the Pistoia countryside/mountains, reachable via a winding but picturesque dirt road, the farmhouse is a pearl in the middle of the woods, with attention to every detail, well conceived, immersed in uncontaminated nature. The owner, very nice and sociable, cooked just for us (we were the only couple present for lunch). The dishes, all genuine, local, delicious, met our expectations perfectly. Eating outdoors was a great experience, under the small gazebos set up for this purpose, where even our dog relaxed and relaxed. The price was very good compared to the quality and quantity of what was eaten (around 33 euros each for a starter, two first courses, a second course, two desserts + house wine). I would go back immediately. Well done and congratulations for everything, from the friendliness, to the cuisine, to the enchanting place! Staying in the apartments for a holiday would also be worth trying...

14/08/2024: We ordered Pizza Margarita. Half portion is enough for 1 person. Materials were scarce. Drinks came very late. The environment was decent and beautiful. Music volume is too loud. He plays quality songs. Centrally located in the city square.

03/08/2024: We were guests of the hotel. We had such a good time the first evening that we returned the second too. Everything we ate was delicious, but especially the tartare: probably the best I've ever tasted. The cacio e pepe di mare is also interesting. A round of applause also for the friendliness of the maître!
