28/03/2026: Once upon a time, there was a sidewalk near the Public Slaughterhouse. A "grassroots" entrepreneur realized it was a good place for a bar and something more, and set up a small shack where you could eat sandwiches or little more. It worked for decades, even after the Slaughterhouse closed (there was a theater nearby, a craft workshop, a church...), but times change. Instead of closing, Rita and Paolo took over and renovated the shack, tastefully furnishing the small interior space and filling the outside with armchairs and tables. Now the place retains its pleasantly temporary appearance, but it's welcoming, friendly, and frequented by patrons from all over the world (a stone's throw away, besides the theater, is the Poma multipurpose cultural center, also founded by Rita and Paolo). It's back to how it once was, and better than ever.

18/11/2025: Pomina Bar is always a sure thing. It overlooks the splendid Church of San Francesco, in the heart of Pescia, offering a truly enchanting atmosphere. The place is very welcoming, as is the staff, always kind and helpful. The food is excellent, with high-quality cured meats that enhance the experience even more. A highly recommended place for a pleasant break.

24/01/2026: In a beautiful location for walking around, I stop every time I pass by, either for a coffee or a full lunch. The people who run it are very friendly and make the stop particularly pleasant.

21/01/2026: We went for a walk in the snow... the route to get there is simple and yet very beautiful. You arrive at the refuge and the place is wonderful, a great place to take a break (either for lunch or just a quick bite to eat). We'll definitely go back even when the snow clears!

03/05/2026: Everything was excellent. It's not the first time we've eaten at this restaurant, and the quality is always top-notch, both in terms of the quality of the products and the service. The waiters are all very kind.

02/05/2026: A huge disappointment. Absolutely exorbitant prices for truly poor quality. The only redeeming feature is the friendly and welcoming staff. Otherwise, unfortunately, this is a place I won't return to.

31/05/2026: Welcoming place and exceptional staff: friendly, kind, and discreet. It's a shame there wasn't an outdoor seating area, but the interior is simple and makes you feel at ease. I found the ordering system a bit cumbersome, but being able to use your phone is definitely convenient. The quality of the food seemed really good and the dishes were well-executed. What more could you want for €26.90? (Drinks not included).

15/05/2026: All you can eat on a Sunday was ok. The menu was less varied than I have seen in similar restaurants in Italy. Some plates took over 40 mins to arrive. Dumplings etc served without the usual sauce. Otherwise food ok

12/03/2026: Mr. Franco treated us to sautéed mushrooms and mushroom pappardelle, along with excellent roasted cappellacci. The meat was delicious, both the steak and the entrecote, and to finish, the cheesecake was amazing. Then there were the smiles and kindness of Marilisa, a beautiful Cuban woman who makes you fall in love with life. Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: It's not the first time I've dined at this place, but things have changed over time. They haven't served pizza anymore, I think for a few years now, and I'm disappointed (surely a personal choice by the place, with its own reasons). The dishes we ordered tonight were of poor quality, unfortunately, and we were disappointed. The chicken cutlets, both in a sandwich and served as a main course, were burnt, and the outside was very dark and almost dry. The platter was nothing special. The beer, however, was excellent. The service was average, a bit slow considering there were only a few tables occupied. It's a shame, however, that we didn't get the same quality as a few years ago, because the board games and the overall atmosphere are what set them apart. It would be perfect to have a good dinner as well.

28/02/2026: Guided by the name of friendship and adventure, I came here in search of delights and refreshment: I found it. Excellent sandwiches and a magical atmosphere. Reservations are recommended if you want to try the great Chutlu.

07/01/2026: I always order the pizza because it's thin, crispy, and beautifully topped, especially the vegetarian version with grilled vegetables. Wood-fired oven. Family-friendly, quiet, and clean atmosphere.

25/04/2026: Great place to stop and eat quickly and a bit of everything... inside and outside seating, in short, there's something for everyone... I had a quick lunch consisting of a second side dish, 1/4 of wine and a drink... total 16 euros... I really appreciated the reserved parking space, clean bathroom and fast service... they accept cards and issue invoices...

28/11/2025: If you happen to want to dine here, you'd better get there by 6:00 PM because they serve dinner like in a seminary. They've already turned me down twice at 8:00 PM because they've already closed, and it's already late for them and they've finished cleaning. From now on, I won't even waste time calling them; I'll stop early or just keep going! CANCELLED!

20/05/2025: La migliore pizza della montagna pistoiese, anche in versione gluten free che io ho provato, buonissima! Gentilezza e simpatia garantite dallo staff giovane e accogliente.
