02/11/2025: The food was good, nothing to complain about the quality of the dishes—but unfortunately, the rest left much to be desired. The staff was virtually absent throughout the dinner, making it difficult to even get their attention to order or ask for information. Even more serious was the fact that the wines were written in pen on the menu, without any prices listed: an unacceptable detail for a restaurant, because customers have a right to know the prices before ordering. It's a real shame, because the cuisine deserves much better, but the overall experience was disappointing. In response to the owner: I confirm that my review refers specifically to your restaurant, which I visited on October 31, 2025. That evening, there was no digital menu on the table, and the paper menu we were given was a menu without a price list, as I mentioned, served to us by one of the three girls in the dining room. So much so that, when it came to the bill, I immediately asked for clarification and was told, obviously regretfully, that the menu was a "convenience" menu that wasn't supposed to be sent to us but was used for personal notes related to table management and/or service. After checking with her, she showed us from a menu I don't know where she got it, that the bottle actually cost €67. Public establishments are required to clearly display and access the prices of their products, so as to allow customers to make an informed choice, which unfortunately didn't happen on Friday. My complaint isn't meant to be polemical, but constructive: I believe it's important that the menu, whether printed or digital, always contains up-to-date prices for all items, including wines and beverages.

05/01/2026: We stumbled upon it last night with our girls, and it was a lovely surprise. The food was truly excellent: quality ingredients, beautifully combined, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We tried the creamy and succulent pumpkin and scamorza risotto, the mouth-watering carboburger, and the pork pluma, a real treat, expertly cooked. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The service was impeccable, 10/10: the staff were kind, attentive, and fast. For dessert, I absolutely recommend the panna cotta, delicious and perfectly balanced. 17/08/2025: The thin-crust pizzas are well-made and topped, though perhaps I would have preferred more sauce. The meat main course is excellent. Crostoni are very rich in mushrooms, but the bread could be toasted and spiced a bit more. There are a few Asian dishes on the menu, but there are some language barriers with service, and on peak days, the wait can be a bit long. The atmosphere is charming, with a panoramic veranda, ample parking, and reasonable prices. Perfect for a cool evening.

20/11/2025: Once upon a time, there was a sidewalk near the Public Slaughterhouse. A "grassroots" entrepreneur realized it was a good place for a bar and something more, and set up a small shack where you could eat sandwiches or little more. It worked for decades, even after the Slaughterhouse closed (there was a theater nearby, a craft workshop, a church...), but times change. Instead of closing, Rita and Paolo took over and renovated the shack, tastefully furnishing the small interior space and filling the outside with armchairs and tables. Now the place retains its pleasantly temporary appearance, but it's welcoming, friendly, and frequented by patrons from all over the world (a stone's throw away, besides the theater, is the Poma multipurpose cultural center, also founded by Rita and Paolo). It's back to how it once was, and better than ever.

18/11/2025: Pomina Bar is always a sure thing. It overlooks the splendid Church of San Francesco, in the heart of Pescia, offering a truly enchanting atmosphere. The place is very welcoming, as is the staff, always kind and helpful. The food is excellent, with high-quality cured meats that enhance the experience even more. A highly recommended place for a pleasant break.

15/02/2026: A welcoming restaurant with two dining rooms, one with a TV. It offers a choice of seafood and meat dishes, as well as excellent pizza. The cacio e pepe pici and the tagliata are highly recommended. The staff are friendly and attentive. The owner is also attentive to the needs of his guests and can also engage in conversation with them. Excellent experience, highly recommended. We hope to return soon.

15/02/2026: Overall, the experience wasn't bad: the food was really good, the dishes were carefully prepared. Unfortunately, however, the service RUINED everything. We waited 20 minutes just for the menu. Once we'd chosen, it was another 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order. And from there, the wait became truly excessive: no less than an hour for the first course and another 30 minutes for the second. I completely understand that it was a holiday and that there might be more people than usual, but sitting for almost two hours basically waiting for food is, in my opinion, unacceptable. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves much more than such slow service.

28/11/2025: If you happen to want to dine here, you'd better get there by 6:00 PM because they serve dinner like in a seminary. They've already turned me down twice at 8:00 PM because they've already closed, and it's already late for them and they've finished cleaning. From now on, I won't even waste time calling them; I'll stop early or just keep going! CANCELLED!

17/02/2026: Clean, welcoming place. The menu is €12 for a first course, second course, and side dish. The food is very, very good, I recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely be back. The owners are very kind and helpful. Thank you so much!!!! 5 stars well deserved.

29/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated. We went there for Christmas lunch, despite the limited choice of two menus (meat or seafood). The service was indecent, and the quality (overcooked rice) and quantity (appetizer) were both awful. In the end, we even laughed it off at the neighboring tables, who couldn't find the words to describe the meal. Given the owner's response, I'd just like to suggest rereading my review. The problem wasn't the menu choice (that's why we came!!), but something else, already mentioned in the review. PS When I write about the set menu, I think and imagine that it should be an advantage for a restaurant to prepare/organize everything, but that wasn't the case!!

21/02/2026: The tradition of removing leftover pizza pieces from trays at other tables and serving them to others is still alive and well...the price is out of line and too high...

30/09/2025: I gave everything 5 stars because it's a simple, rustic place that maintains its tradition. I went there often many years ago and recently returned. The staff is very helpful and everyone is very nice. The pizzas are delicious, and I don't know what dough it is or how long it's leavened, but it's very light. I have a wheat intolerance, so I didn't have any problems, and I ate a lot. The only small flaw is that there's not much variety in the pizzas they serve, but they're still excellent. The dessert is also good! I hope to return soon. 🤗
