The staff is welcoming, extremely kind, and attentive to their customers. Service is very fast, almost instantaneous.
The dishes:
the appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert are top-notch, both in terms of quantity, quality, and flavor, and are also plentiful and beautifully presented.
I recommend this restaurant 100%.
The prices are average.
They're excellent! If I'm in the area, I'll definitely have a go-to place where I can return to eat delicious dishes and try others that just reading about them made me want to try.
My wife, my daughters, and I were very satisfied...

30/12/2025: Comfortable atmosphere, very fast table service, good pizza and excellent beer, clean restrooms. What can I say! Definitely worth trying again!!!
22/10/2025: Our first experience during the Covid period was recommended by friends, offering takeout. Since then, we've tried several dishes: baked fish with potatoes, salt-baked fish, cockerel al mattone, and a special (Livorno-style cod) that can be ordered the day before. All dishes are expertly prepared with expertise and skill. Excellent value for money.

23/09/2025: Very elegant, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was excellent. A restaurant where you can bring your girlfriend/wife for a lovely, elegant evening and make a great impression. It's obviously a bit more expensive than usual (two of us, with a 20% discount with The Fork, spent €120, ordering two appetizers, two first courses, one second course, and one wine).

…The food was wonderful, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious, and we even received a complimentary amuse-bouche from the kitchen to start! Thank you so much!

11/02/2026: A typical village bar with a fantastic pizza! We stopped for a quick lunch on the way to Abetone, and it was a very pleasant surprise.
The plain and stuffed pizza was 10/10.

02/11/2025: I stayed at the Porta Franca refuge for lunch and dinner, staying in a shared room! What can I say? A wonderful experience, made even more so by the generous and kind welcome we received from the CAI volunteers! They were attentive and thoughtful, and I must say, very friendly! Honorable mention goes to Mrs. Cinzia and the other chef (forgive me, I don't remember her name) who delighted us with delicious dishes! Thanks also to our contact Alessandro, especially for the strudel he gave me for the return trip! Thank you so much!
07/10/2025: A lovely place to stop for a bite to eat or grab something to eat directly at the refuge. The food is spectacular and delicious.

03/11/2025: I called because I couldn't find the "forks" option when ordering takeout through an app. I called and they kindly explained how to request them. When the food arrived, there were no forks, only chopsticks, and even one less than the number of us. But that's just the beginning! They completely misread the ingredients for the poke, and when I double-checked the receipt, it was their mistake. They mixed up the ingredients in our poke multiple times, mixing up ingredients that, being undesirable, caused quite a bit of inconvenience. The rice was also particularly undercooked, and the tuna didn't seem to be of great quality. A huge disappointment and a ruined dinner. Never again!

23/02/2026: A little gem in the mountains, we felt like we were stepping into our grandparents' house, with a warm and peaceful welcome. The kitchen is capable of preparing anything, even items not on the menu, so I highly recommend asking the house for advice on choosing dishes. The ingredients and preparation are exceptional. Excellent value. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.
15/02/2026: One of my favorite restaurants like no other. You go out to eat and know you'll eat well here. The staff is incredibly kind, just like in days gone by... they bring you your food and wish you Bon Appetit. I feel right at home. ❤️

13/09/2025: There were 10 of us for lunch, we were alone, we had a great time, they treated us well, we ate well, and we spent the right amount. Highly recommended.
19/08/2025: I was in Prunetta at the farmhouse and had some excellent pizzas and fried pasta to go. The place is charming and well-decorated, definitely a great choice for cool mountain walks.

21/02/2026: Fish dinner. The three-course appetizer was below expectations. Nothing tasted good; a bland soufflé didn't help. The main course was Gran Catalana. The lobster was overcooked. Impossible to remove the meat from the shell. And the prawns needed additional cleaning. The service was superb, the staff were fantastic and experienced. The place needs a makeover in 2026.
