Mi sono fermato per caso in questo locale per prendere un cappuccino e una brioche. Ma la ragazza non avendo la pasta mi ha consigliato il neccio, specialità garfagnina. L' ha preparato sul momento con farina di castagne, cioccolato, ricotta e zucchero a velo, poi l'ha arrotolato e me lo ha servito insieme al cappuccino. Risultato una vera prelibatezza, da leccarsi i baffi fino alle orecchie! Poi, essendo l'unico cliente del locale, mi sono intrattenuto per fare due chiacchere con questa ragazza carina, gentile e disponibile... Consiglio a chiunque di farci una sosta perchè anche il prezzo è decisamente abbordabile! Del gelato non posso dire niente perchè non lo ho assaggiato...

We accidentally entered this ice cream shop located on the corner of the main square of Montecatini Alta. The friendliness and professionalism of the owner won me and my family over. You can choose from a wide choice of flavours, all expertly handcrafted by the owner who has been passionate about this job for a lifetime. I recommend the pistachio which is really excellent. Highly recommended

The best gelato in the whole of Montecatini. It is authentic and so delicious, that we went there twice during our visit. They also sell cold water.

The staff were very friendly to us at first but then I literally slept because of how long it took them to give us our food. We just ordered 2 pizzas and fries. It took them 40 minutes. The Atmosphere was very cool, because it was at night the place was really cool and there was a person singing. The only thing I dont like is that it took them 40 minutes to give us our food and then just saying "A little delay"

07/04/2024: I returned to this bistro for the second time. The place is small and charming. All dishes very good. Extreme kindness and courtesy in the room. Honest prices. You feel the passion in what you do. I advise. Well done Well done!
23/03/2024: I would like to point out that my opinion does not concern the cuisine and the service, which I found excellent. We took the mixed starter, two first courses (the one with clams and the spaghettone with sardines) and a cannoli, accompanied by a glass of Sicilian white wine. The food is delicious and the service is always attentive, the boy who served us was very nice and ready to explain everything to us. Unfortunately we booked with a 50% discount which was then not honored as the fork app took it away from us without our knowledge in the booking confirmation email. Having invited someone to dinner and having traveled many kilometers to get to this restaurant, this mix-up created a certain embarrassment for me, also because I had imagined spending an amount which, obviously, in the end was considerably higher. Very kindly at the checkout they discounted us €10 from the total but unfortunately it wasn't the 50% we expected!

Ristorante Goraiolo

12/03/2024: A home experience. Classic and revisited appetizers, good first courses and excellent second courses. Even the desserts amaze in their own small way. The staff is competent and friendly, the times were perfect, the place has been renovated, I don't know what to give other than 5 stars. A pearl in the middle of the mountains. For those interested, the "charcuterie basket" is available again and by eating well with a good red wine you can easily reach ~€70 each. Staying more classic (both in terms of dishes and perhaps with a house wine) you can easily have dinner for ~€50. However, it is above average in the price range and, as far as I'm concerned, it's worth it.
04/02/2024: Nice place, good food.. in my opinion a little high in prices, especially in the grilled food, in the starters, Lombardy with mushrooms very good, runghi rice good. Obviously it's my opinion. If you consider that it is also far from Montecatini mountain road, in short they could do better with the bill.
