19/05/2026: I ordered tripe alla Fiorentina, which was delicious, accompanied by uninteresting steamed potatoes... then I had what seems to be the house specialty, the steak tartare. I opted for "LA CLASSICONA," which, on its bed of bread croutons, didn't impress me at all. Apparently, people like it that way... No particular accompaniment with the tartare. A shame. The portions are rather small... On the other hand, the charcuterie platters that were being served, as well as the paninis, looked very good. The wine list is well-stocked. Very friendly staff and a pleasant place. I recommend it.

29/10/2025: We went to Nando's for dinner, but there was no menu available! It was just words. I highly recommend asking in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises when the bill comes, which, I dare say, wasn't very appropriate for what we ate... especially for an osteria.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner. Overall, it's a quiet place for family and friends, but the price for this dinner was way too high for the quality of the ingredients and dishes. A dinner like this simply can't cost that much, even in Forte dei Marmi. The dishes presented weren't commensurate with the asking price; we expected much more for the price, which we'd known about long ago since we'd booked. Good luck!

27/04/2026: Patricia is an excellent host. When we visited, the pizzeria was busy and full. We placed a large order, so it took a while to receive the pizzas. However, Patricia's attentiveness and patience are exceptional. The pizzas were delicious, and the menu offers a variety of flavors. For families traveling for leisure, it's worth ordering and picking up the food at your accommodation. I recommend the pizzeria and thank Patricia for her patience and attentiveness. 22/05/2026: We had lunch at this osteria yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The testaroli were delicious, the tagliata spectacular, and the tiramisu heavenly. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the place is quaint with stone vaults. Well done guys, I recommend this place.

22/05/2026: It was my first time in Lunigiana, and after browsing online, I decided to stop by Osteria della Bietola to try some traditional dishes. You'll enter this intimate, well-maintained, atmospheric restaurant. I found it beautiful. I ordered the local antipasto with artisanal cured meats from a local delicatessen. They were delicious, aromatic, and high-quality. Perhaps the prosciutto was a little below average compared to the others, but still good, no big deal. The focaccias were delicious, with the grains of salt on top giving them a noticeable kick. I wasn't thrilled with what I believe to be the Lunigiana filling, but the other three appetizers were top-notch. The potato and leek tart was very good, but the highlights were the chestnut patés with ricotta—sweet, enveloping, and creamy—and even more so the herb tart, which I'd never tried before but was truly delicious. So, let's move on to the first course: testaroli with pesto. If you're expecting a standard pasta shape typical of the area, you're off the mark—not completely, but just enough. They have to be enjoyable; they have a completely different texture than any pasta you've ever eaten. They have a soft, spongy, and slightly springy consistency, closer to a rustic crepe cut into diamonds than actual pasta. They absorb pesto or sauce very well, so they're moist, porous, almost velvety in the mouth, with a gentle chewiness. They have to be enjoyable. I loved them so much that I ordered two plates, reluctantly skipping the main course and dessert. A small note about the owners (I think). Extremely kind and helpful, you can tell they love what they do and the traditions of their land. Well done.

06/01/2026: Went for New Year's Eve dinner with a group of friends. The food was rather poor: the sgabei were greasy and soggy, the cod fritters were all pasta and very little cod, but the rest was average, the cold cuts were decent. The seafood spaghetti was made with floury, tasteless frozen mussels, and the sea bream ravioli were washed out and had a tasteless sauce. The Catalana, if you can call it that, was made with only frozen shrimp and inedible cuttlefish, surrounded by carrots and celery without a drop of oil. The cotechino was cold and had very few lentils, almost nonexistent. The dessert consisted of a slice of pandoro with a little cream. A bad experience. I hope the food quality is better on normal days. The service was good.

20/02/2026: The pastries are very good. Service and respect for customers are completely absent. Once again, I arrived during opening hours to find signs indicating closure (this time temporarily). Reading the reviews, it's clear this is your custom. And even when I find it open, the rudeness is borderline acceptable. You clearly don't love what you do. It's very unfortunate to be mocked like this.

17/02/2026: I arrived at 12, and unfortunately there wasn't much left... but what I got was TOP!!! The focaccia was excellent, not to mention the cream-filled fritters, they melted in your mouth!!!! Highly recommended!!!

01/05/2026: We went to eat at a nice place, the food was of poor quality, the service could be improved, the meat seemed decent, shame about the lady's hair that we found in the sausage, so we didn't even try that.

12/04/2026: Borgo della Colomba is a magical place...first and foremost, far from the chaos of the Riviera, yet still just a 10-minute drive from Sarzana or Fosdinovo. Cristina offers excellent hospitality and helpfulness. The room and private bathroom are comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast. Recommended.
