08/01/2026: Holiday lunch, a very nice and welcoming place, super friendly staff, and good, local food. We shared three courses (a cured meats and cheese appetizer, testaroli, and lamb), which arrived pre-cut, with two glasses of wine for about €30 per person. Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: I returned to Trillo curious to see if my previous experience was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, it wasn't! The restaurant bills itself as a high-end establishment, with an average bill of €70-80 per person, but what's served—both in terms of dishes and service—doesn't reach the "fine dining" standards that such a price should guarantee. Only one waiter per table, bringing two dishes at a time, a confusing appetizer, a seafood tagliolini that was actually linguine, and incredibly salty! A salted caramel for dessert, whose name at least matched its content: salty, more than you'd expect from a dessert. The table setting is meticulously designed, and even the different types of bread are commendable... but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I have to be honest, the outdoor location is very charming and certainly fantastic in the summer, but I don't think I'll repeat the experience: my stomach will thank me. I would also recommend a revamp of the website, a bit too Lavacchio style!

The lunch was superb, excellent dishes cooked with love, excellent service with the staff always ready and willing, fair prices! I then had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with the owner (a really nice guy 😁)!!! Thank you!

17/01/2026: I followed the advice of a trusted friend, a nice, clean place, excellent welcome, the waitress was punctual, precise and attentive to customers, great professionalism and nowadays it is a rarity, even the artist cooking the panigacci is no less, perfect dough and cooking everything very good, the rice cake at the end was a worthy conclusion to an excellent lunch, I will definitely be back

07/01/2026: good restaurant, very nice candle-lit ambiance. all food was good, I had truffled eggs and pumpkin puree with shrimps. they serve traditional also meat and pasta dishes, all my 5 friends enjoyed what they had. the owner was grumpy: not impolite, but impatient and not smiling. maybe he was just having a bad day. the server was really nice and she took time to explain all the large selection of different local “amari” (bitters and digestives). Price-wise, a bit more expensive than the average local restaurant.

18/01/2026: We went to eat on Saturday 17th January for dinner with cousins ​​and friends, I have to say that I found everything good, the waiters and waitresses were all helpful and attentive, the Albanian waitress, Eugenia, remained in my heart, but we will definitely return

06/01/2026: New Year's Eve at the inn....beautiful location, food not exciting, we left the second course on the plate...boisterous music and nothing to do with the typical New Year's music...sore point: I stayed there, convinced I would be warm and rest like a newborn....I even slept with a woolen hat, so cold I had never had in a room...at 7 pm, upon arrival, the heating was on, as it had been during the night, but evidently with the cold it had to be turned on even earlier...when we woke up not even a coffee or a slice of panettone...the cleaning lady was waiting for us, not even someone to welcome us and to think that it was 11 am and they were preparing for the January 1st lunch...I have never had such treatment...never again

13/01/2026: Spectacular pizzeria, booked last minute because we were craving pizza after the movies. Truly fabulous pizza, both classic and gourmet, very fast and attentive service, and delicious desserts too. You've won me over, we'll be back often.

21/01/2026: Let's just talk about panigacci...nothing to complain about the quality. Good panigacci and excellent cured meats, decent house wine...but I don't find it justifiable to pay almost €6 more per person than at another restaurant in Podenzana (where the food isn't bad at all).
