I returned after a few years with my family, and I can say it's always a guaranteed success.
The quality of the food is truly excellent (panigacci with various cured meats and cheeses). The location is elegant and welcoming, perfect for both a family dinner and a quiet evening. The service was also excellent: attentive, friendly, and never intrusive.
The quality-price ratio was also very good, perfectly in line with the overall experience.
A place I always enjoy returning to and recommend without hesitation.

The experience of enjoying panigacci at Gambin is unique, for its deliciousness, quality, and service. They even offer a vegetarian option for those who, like me, don't eat meat. The staff is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. I'll definitely be back.

I've been driving the highway back and forth between Genoa and Bologna for years, and I've been saying for years: I have to stop for panigacci, a typical Lunigiana dish. So, determined to fill this gap, I searched for the most reputable restaurant and finally found it. From the toll booth to the restaurant, it's not a short drive—you climb a few kilometers inland—but judging by the cars parked, you immediately know you're in the right place. We ate nothing else from the menu: panigacci with local cured meats and cheeses, topped with pesto and ragù, and the typical chiodi, a sausage baked in the oven, sandwiched between two testi (a kind of bread). What can I say? We were satisfied with the experience; if you get the chance, it's worth making a small detour. Recommended.

Let's just talk about panigacci...nothing to complain about the quality. Good panigacci and excellent cured meats, decent house wine...but I don't find it justifiable to pay almost €6 more per person than at another restaurant in Podenzana (where the food isn't bad at all).

We had lunch here for the first time. We had the panigacci with cured meats; the cured meats were excellent, nothing to complain about, but I didn't like the panigacci. I've always eaten them softer, they were a bit tough, and when I folded them, they broke like crackers. What a shame... It's a nice place.
