Excellent cured meats, excellent desserts too, the price is certainly not low and waiting times can be long if you go on a Saturday evening. If you leave from La Spezia I recommend going through Aulla, going directly the road is really bad especially at night.

So, a little way from Viareggio, with a night of wolf but a really very very nice place, well maintained and well furnished. More than impeccable service and trained, helpful and smiling staff... Things that are not to be taken for granted! We ate very well, traditional dishes still made in the old fashioned way, a trio of testaroli (pesto, mushrooms, oil and parmesan) II nail, a nice sausage also cooked on testi, a wonderful tray of cold cuts, stracchino and gorgonzola. Decent house red and white wine, excellent receipt! Advised .

Da Gambin vuol dire passare la serata in un locale molto accogliente, pulito e soprattutto dal menù pienamente soddisfacente. Panigacci, testaroli, chiodo e rosticciana deliziosi. Locale affollato vuol dire che molti apprezzano per cui meglio prenotare. Una splendida esperienza di gusti. Prezzo un po' sopra la media dei dintorni.

Per i panigacci e salumi è il top ! Un pò più fuori mano degli altri ristoranti di panigacci e un pochino più caro ... ma vale la pena , è un'altra categoria .

Locanda del Tron

13/03/2024: Cozy place near the Massa station; Alessio and Eleonora are a very close-knit couple and this can be seen in the service. Excellent raw materials, kindness, friendliness. All homemade, excellent traditional cuisine. The icing on the cake, the liqueurs made by Alessio served at the end of the meal! Unmissable licorice and star anise. We recommend it!

03/04/2024: Well, wouldn't go again. I find the bread (bruschetta) to be too dry and not enough toppings.
