01/05/2025: Andare da Massimo è un po' come approdare al solito porto sicuro. Il locale è accogliente nella sua semplicità e trovo la sua pizza sottile decisamente buona. Il titolare, apparentemente burbero, in realtà è molto attento ai desideri del cliente. Prezzi ragionevoli.

03/09/2024: We were only guests at the restaurant and we really liked it! We were given a lot of different tasty things to try and drinks from the bar, so we booked a table for lunch. The service was very good, it was very comfortable to sit at the table, not hot, as there was a breeze.

09/05/2025: The "new" Barrocciaia has finally reopened, with new premises and staff. Let's start with the staff, excellent in every way, good at listening to customers, they deserve all the success possible!!! The dishes, look at the photos to believe them, very good and plentiful, everything perfect. Historic and characteristic location. Ideal for groups of friends and couple dinners. I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt!!! Well done everyone!!!

12/01/2025: Qualità della materia prima molto buona, la ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata molto carina, servizio in generale molto rapido anche se la sala non era ancora piena. Il tagliere ce lo aspettavamo più grande poiché da varie pubblicità social la dimensione era completamente differente (avevamo chiesto consiglio anche alla cameriera). Idem per il TuttoCrudo, mi sarei aspettato una porzione più interessante e più condita. La cosa che mi ha fatto storcere il naso è stata la mancanza del Sushi nel TuttoCrudo. Abbiamo chiesto il motivo alla cameriera, la quale ci ha risposto che "molto probabilmente era finito ed hanno aggiunto più tartare". Inizialmente ci siamo passati sopra, fino a che abbiamo visto arrivare diversi piatti di Sushi alla tavolata accanto. Ci siamo sentiti presi un po' in giro, avremmo apprezzato una maggiore onestà. Prezzi in linea se si sfrutta il 20% di TheFork, altrimenti non ne vale la pena. Probabilmente ci tornerò per una seconda chance.

The prawns were not there but the price remained the same, the xameriera ambushed in the kitchen and there were only 2 of us, food....... Dish, excessive cost

30/05/2025: Surely something has changed because, being a historic restaurant, it does not give the quality you expect. Acceptable dishes but too touristy. It lacks that typical Tuscan flavor that you expect on this beautiful island.

23/05/2025: Siamo stati accolti con molta gentilezza,servizio veloce. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di polpo eccellente, due spaghetti alle vongole ,buoni succosi ma se devo dire un appunto formato della pasta non adatto (spaghettini) e anche un po’ troppo al dente per i miei gusti!avrei preferito un formato tipo spaghetto quadrato ☺️. Dolci buoni ma nella media. Conto un po’ elevato! Consiglio però vivamente per la freschezza del pesce!! Gentile il ragazzo che ci ha servito!

26/05/2025: Had a nice meal for a fixed price of €20 -. Including a quarter liter of wine and half a liter of water and a covered table. Too bad the quarter liter could not be exchanged for another drink.
