17/08/2024: Small place next to the sea, usually crowded and with service that is far too slow for both a sandwich, a salad, and a simple pasta with tomato sauce. The fact that there are few people in the kitchen is acceptable, but almost half an hour for the dishes listed above is really excessive. However, the education and honesty with which they welcomed us and (after half an hour) left us was appreciated. For the food, the wait is only half worth it, as the portions were huge.

19/08/2024: We tried to book on the phone and the manager was extremely rude. Even in times of intense crowding it is advisable to maintain a level of education, at least above the water line

22/07/2024: Part of the program in this restaurant is that the staff changes every year, intentionally of course. Visited three times in three years and never been disappointed. A service that is second to none delivers high quality food from the kitchen. It was a pleasure.

14/07/2024: We ate very well, excellent quality food, excellent service and a very welcoming environment, the cook Anna was excellent, everything was excellent and especially the tiramisu. The waiter was very courteous and the owner Alessandro was very welcoming. We will definitely be back, we recommend it... Alessandra and Massimo, the Milanese campers 🤩

28/08/2024: A restaurant that remains a point of reference for Elba, the quality of the products is never in question and the care with which they are treated is the perfect combination for diners. The variety is right and so is the wine cellar. A plus for the sunset that can be enjoyed from the terrace.

15/08/2024: Beautiful location in front of the Gulf of Baratti with a large space for aperitifs, and a pergola where you can eat overlooking the sea. Very good food, we had excellent fish tartare, as well as fresh pasta ravioli filled with fish and finally a slice with its side dish. Everything quality!

08/08/2024: Special dishes with excellent flavour. Generous portions and kindness. We recommend it. We stopped for dinner to celebrate our birthday (7 August). We will be back.

12/08/2024: Cash only. Only speak Italian. Fun atmosphere in the early hours of the day. Good croissants and doughnuts.

23/07/2024: The verdict is very tasty, even if we haven't tried everything yet. Only the cornetti are a bit too sweet for me. And of course always the delicious espresso.

04/08/2024: The food is good and original, but for what you pay the bar should be much higher. There is no taste surprise whatsoever, it is rather flat, and we see many of the same ingredients being reused in different dishes. The vegetarian options are mediocre and expensive. This is made worse by the poor service. Orders are forgotten, plates are served (thrown) over fellow diners, there is no personal attention and in a hurry the staff is curt (“dessert?”). This was a total disappointment. And if the bill is also full of errors, you can only think: what a shame for such a restaurant, which is a bit old-fashioned, but in a beautiful place.
