Delicious food, perfect location, attentive and pleasantly chatty host. He even provided a chalkboard for our child to draw on! A Livorno staple.

We dined without a reservation on a day before a holiday, and the host welcomed us immediately, setting a table for us overlooking the stunning canal (unlike the nearby restaurants). Every dish was a surprise (the mussels with Roquefort were highly recommended), accompanied by friendly, warm service. If you're looking for a relaxing dinner after a long walk in Livorno, this is a highly recommended place!

A wonderful restaurant straddling two bends in the Livorno canals. We tried the abundant and fragrant fried fish and the Cacciucco, a superb cacciucco soup, hearty and made with fish from days gone by (but incredibly fresh and fragrant). The house Vermentino is delicious and low in sulfites, and there's a nice selection of unusual wines. The bread is homemade, as is the fresh pasta (we'll be back), and the desserts and creams are made to order, as are the crocheted fabrics and embroidered fabrics. Bravo!

not good, the cacciucco contained two large slices of moray eel, which were also cold, a mantis shrimp, some pieces of octopus and two mussels, the ravioli with cod were just pasta, no cod at all.

08/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch with friends and small children, and I have to say we were very satisfied overall. The food was good, the wine selection excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Eating by the sea on a beautiful day certainly made us feel good, especially since they assigned us a table on the sand and near the play area, so even the kids were practically self-catering. I recommend it, and I'll definitely be back if I have the opportunity.
05/04/2026: Went for lunch today (Easter!) for the first time. Beautiful place, kind and patient staff, delicious and beautiful dishes! As I told the girl at the cashier, I was really disappointed that there were people in a hurry. I can understand being hungry, but the rush today, a holiday with beautiful sunshine, by the sea with good, chilled wine, should have been left at home! Well done, everyone! See you next time! 😉
