10/01/2024: My husband and I had a wonderful Christmas lunch with our son and our daughter and her family (seven of us) at this lovely local restaurant in San Polo. The restaurant was very festive and there were several courses. Our son is Vegan and the restaurant catered for him without a problem. The service was impeccable and Matteo the restaurant owner was charming (and although the family apart from my husband and I speak fluent Italian - he also spoke fluent English). The price also was extremely reasonable. Would recommend highly.

Il titolare bravissimo e dolcissimo anche con i bambini...ma oggettivamente non posso fare i complimenti alla cucina. Qui non ho trovato il Chianti che mi aspettavo. Antipasto di salumi e primi per gli adulti non in linea con le aspettative. Buon lavoro ragazzi, il potenziale é grande...lavorateci

27/03/2024: We found this place through the Slow Food guide and were surprised to find it was only 4.0 stars on Google.
We risked it anyway, as Slow Food have never disappointed, and it was a lovely meal. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious! Highlight was the beef stew which just melted in your mouth.
We were there until closing time, but they never rushed us and we left feeling very full and happy

09/12/2023: Sopravvalutato, si spende come ad un ristorante ma si mangia peggio! Vino normale, ciccia normale. Solo marketing acchiappa turisti! Personale non preparato.
02/08/2023: Like most people, we came to Panzano for Dario. We booked well in advance at Soliccicia, wondering how we would react to a 7 course lunch in August. The village is in altitude, windy, so temperature was not an issue. Food was of great quality and on the thematic if meat, of course. Dario came by and was the star of the pictures. That was expected. What was way better than expected was the experience, the amazing atmosphere created by, on one side, the glass of wine outside the restaurant, creating unity in the crowd, and on the other side, the long tables you share with other guests. The exchange between guests, about anything, discovering each other, with Dario and Chef's table as a common point was unbelievable. I spoke Italian for 2h with my neighbour, and I didn't know I would be able to. All together, a wonderful day in Panzano.

22/10/2023: A beautiful small, family run operation on the piazza in Greve. Service was fine, great wine list and food was delicious. The pappardelle cinghiale (wild boar) was memorable
23/09/2023: Pâtisserie correcte mais prix surfaits !
Outre le jeune homme qui nous a bien accueilli le service fut médiocre...la jeune serveuse a balancé le plat sur la table car la première commande n était pas correcte. Notre sentiment est que les touristes les ennuient...accueil comptoir hyper froid : ni bonjour ni au revoir. Première adresse décevante en 1 semaine dans la région.

08/11/2023: Provato solo ed esclusivamente perché era l'unico posto a vendere gelati (incredibile!) e c'era da immaginarlo che i suddetti prodotti sono solo spacciati come tali.
30/10/2023: Ein Traum, dieses Lokal! So eine gute Küche!!!! Wunerbare Auswahl der Speusen!! Preis- Leistungsverhältnis total in Ordnung. Sehr nettes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

16/10/2023: Servizio pessimo, la persona che ci ha accompagnato al tavolo era frettolosa e scortese, il cibo troppo caro!Quantità scarsa! Ristorante con tavoli vecchi e macchiati. Non ci torneremo piu !!!
