05/04/2024: This is a special occasion gem. Obviously very expensive but the level of food and service is out of this world. Just incredible inventiveness, attention to detail, and perfect execution on every dish. We had the 5 course tasting menu. My wife has Celiac disease and we were told that with advance notice the chef could prepare special versions of the dishes that would be safe as possible for her. All the substitutions were great and she didn't have any reaction. What more is there to say? Every aspect of this meal was perfect!

26/03/2024: Overall, the service by the waitstaff was excellent. What really let's this place down is the food especially how it is plated to be eaten. There are multiple courses that are extremely difficult to cut in order to eat due to plating or having the incorrect utensil for the job. It feels as if they haven't tried eating what they are serving on the specific plate for the dish. Having eaten at a good amount of Michelin star restaurants I was disappointed there was only one dish that wowed me. The turbot, was the dish seemed well balanced texture and taste. I usually eat quickly, but we were waiting a long time between dishes, which just slowed the whole experience and made it less enjoyable. The olive oil provided for the bread to my tastes was overly bitter, and didn't add to the flavor. Some of the presentations were well done but others seemed to make the dish awkward to eat. We asked for two wines one for the first half and one for the second half. Neither seemed to pair with any of dishes especially well. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and spoke about the dishes with elegance and the occasional bit of humor. Anytime we asked a question they were able to give us information that was both interesting and helpful. Honestly the wait staff are the ones the make the place feel more alive than the food did.

07/04/2024: There is a very wide choice of sandwiches, the standard variants of which cost 7 euros. Everything is freshly prepared and despite the crowds, the service is fast. There are some seats available upstairs. I recommend that you go early around opening time, because there is often a reasonable queue around 12:30. But the wait is definitely worth it. The sandwiches are delicious and if you are looking for a quick, affordable and tasty option then you should definitely go here.

06/04/2024: Divine Schiacciata, with incredibly good wild boar salami, Tuscan pecorino and dried tomatoes, one of the best Schiacciata I have ever eaten. Super friendly staff (they let me try a slice of salami and some Tuscan pecorino, obviously free) and helpful, and prices are normal. I will definitely go back

15/05/2024: Just had a great meal here. Went with two of my friends. We each ordered a pasta dish and two of us also ordered mains. We all enjoyed our dishes. We would highly recommend the truffle tortellini and the ragu tortelli for the primi course and the rabbit wraps for secondi. We also loved the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse with pear. As a side note, a large group of Americans came in and all ordered burgers. They were turning their noses up at the burgers because they were not cooked well done and sent them back. If you are a tourist here, order some of the local food. Why travel across the Atlantic just to order what you could have at home? I’m sure the burger here is good but please don’t order it—the pasta and Italian dishes here are seriously second to none. Also, we had fun trying out Italian phrases with the waiters. They were very excited when my friend used the phrase “molto buono” to describe his meal. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and a great meal.

13/05/2024: One of the more mediocre meals I had in Florence. I have some cooking experience, and this definitely felt like a case where I could have done a better job at home or in my AirBnb for 1/5 of the cost. Good wine list though, and the servers seemed quite friendly.

02/04/2024: We passed by the restaurant by chance during a trip to Florence and we were immediately impressed. Cozy place, attentive service and excellent food. If you want to eat a perfectly cooked Florentine steak, this is the ideal place. We will definitely be back.

02/05/2024: Amazing pizza!!! This place came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. We actually went back again for dinner the same day. I got a fancy pizza: truffle and burrata. Mine was also gluten free!!! Wow. My pizza was more expensive and we got a bottle of wine so it cost about €30 per person. But if you get a simple pizza, it’s around €10 per person.

01/04/2024: Made a reservation via email and received confirmation. Upon arrival, the attendant behind the bar did not acknowledge receipt and falsely pretended to shuffle thru a few notebook pages as we watched for a length time. Ultimately took a look around, saw empty tables and decided to head elsewhere given the lack of courtesy. Place looked tight and stuffy inside and came off as a tourist trap given the proximity to the museum. Would not recommend.

16/03/2024: The prices are very reasonable, the taste is very good and satisfying. You can stop by and taste it before or after watching the sunset. The owners are polite and provide good service.

06/04/2024: This afternoon we finally had two amazing sandwiches at Arnold's. We had wanted to go for a lifetime but they always passed at odd hours, but this time we didn't let it slip away. What can I say, a magnificent discovery! Lots of ingredients, all beautifully fresh, tasty and artisanal for all to see. We particularly appreciated the option to replace the meat with an excellent veggie burger made by them. The place is impeccably clean and comfortable. And what about the prices? They should put them in a museum because you don't see them like that anymore! I was moved!!! Last but not least, given the tranquility of the moment, we also had the pleasure of having a very pleasant chat with the owner who is an exceptionally nice and sociable person. Congratulations indeed because there should be more places like this. We hope to be able to return soon!

05/04/2024: On the occasion of a dinner with friends, we chose this place that I had wanted to try for a while. The room is furnished in a simple style, without ornaments or particular objects. The cuisine is excellent. We tried a bit of everything: vegetarian pie, truffle tagliolini, Mugello tortelli, chicken. It was all delicious and the pasta was fresh. I recommend you try their fresh pasta offering which is exceptional. The service was excellent and friendly.
