08/10/2025: The pizzeria is beautifully located. The ambiance is excellent. Unfortunately, we had to wait a while before they explained to us that the menu could be accessed via a QR code. Unfortunately, there wasn't one on our table. A tip: simply place a QR code on each table. We both had a pizza. My wife enjoyed it; I've actually had better.

06/09/2025: Mine isn't appetite, it's a true hunger for simplicity, beauty, and harmony. In gastronomy, reaching the essence of simplicity is the most difficult feat possible, because simplicity lies in the use of a few good raw materials and a few, but expert, techniques. And Filippo does this at Mater. But there's something even more difficult. In life, as in cooking, we seek the "landscape," but we know nothing about "nature." Director Ermanno Olmi said that you can't love a forest by thinking of it only as an oxygen factory. Do you want to love a forest? Kneel down and look at it closely. Filippo and Marta go to the Camaldoli forest in their free time, kneel down, look closely, listen with all five senses, and dream of a dish. Many chefs are passionate about what they do, but Filippo's passion is imbued with a strength that runs through him, which isn't simply the strength of the ego, but something beyond the ego. This is why his passion isn't blind, it's visionary, and this is why, as a dear friend says, he manages to go beyond "banal perfection." Luigi Verdi

06/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay! Very friendly people; no question was too much trouble. They were very helpful and thought along with everything. The apartment looked fantastic! Everything worked perfectly. The pool is well-maintained and clean! The view is stunning, wherever you are on the complex. The breakfast is superb! But dinner was fantastic. We had delicious meals two evenings. All in all: we would return again and highly recommend "Borgo Dolci Colline" to anyone who asks for recommendations in the area. The photos on the website already make it look fantastic, but in reality, it's even more beautiful!

06/10/2025: This restaurant is nestled in one of the most photographed alleys in Cortona and represents everything you think about Italy, character, beauty, and uniqueness. The food and drinks are all prepared to the highest quality and originality. Vegetarian entrees elevated on both flavor profile and plating. The creativity of each entree are truly noteworthy. There were six in our party which allowed for each of us to try a different option and share with each other. My favorite is the tartare, both visually and taste profile, it's fireworks on a plate, it just makes you happy looking at it and eating it continues that happiness. I highly recommend this restaurant for your consideration.

08/10/2025: An old-fashioned hotel restaurant, in the best sense of the word. We ate overlooking a beautiful view. And the food did not disappoint. We tried lean ravioli with porcini mushrooms, lamb stewed in a woodland style, and a plate of fried porcini mushrooms. Plus a good house wine. Everything was delicious. Quick and friendly service, reasonable prices. The best dinner of our week-long vacation in Tuscany.

21/09/2025: On the recommendation of friends, we went to this osteria. The dish we had to try was the Chianti risotto. Our expectations were very high, and we can say they were fully met. It's an unexpected dish (in the realm of pici and lasagna), and we'd definitely recommend it. Be warned, cinnamon is one of the ingredients. We'll be back on our next visit to Cortona.

The cured meats and cheeses are spectacular, the ready-made dishes are delicious and always fresh. You can taste the passion and expertise in everything. 30/09/2025: I personally want to compliment the entire Tasty staff, not only for the quality of their products but above all for the kindness and professionalism they bring to their work every day. I've often stood at the counter and watched them work with such calm, speed, and coordination. It's truly a pleasure. The environment is clean, fresh, and the prices are competitive. Truly the best!

13/09/2025: Highly recommend pici con tartufo and tiramisu. One of the best we tried in Italy. Definitely worth coming for lunch or dinner.

11/09/2025: Finding a restaurant in August is hard. Alot of favorites were closed for the holidays. And Alot of first choices were closed even of google say it’s open. A big problem because most restaurants in Italy doesn’t have there own website. This place was our 3rd choice. I was not so enthused because to me it’s seems a modern Italian restaurant. Modern in Italy is the same as fusion. To my surprise…the plating and presentation is modern, but the taste is very traditional. Love the Octopus, steak and Risotto. And they had delicious bread too. Service was excellent and the owner took a picture with our whole family. In the end to our surprise it was our best dinner of our trip.

28/09/2025: All in all, their pizza is worth trying... we had a few service hiccups with long waits, but the owner immediately apologized and offered a discount on our next dinner! It seemed like a great compromise for the inconvenience, considering that unexpected things can happen!

28/09/2025: The Neapolitan pizza was very good and easy to digest. They were willing to make some adjustments to my wife's pizza, as she has an intolerance. The frittatina was also good, although I think it needed just a minute more cooking since it was a bit cold in the center, but this didn't affect the quality of the product. The service was very friendly and fast despite the restaurant being busy. The wine selection was also good (with a recommended pairing directly on the menu) and beer selection. The space was a bit cramped and noisy, but that's normal for a pizzeria, so it's fine. I recommend it to anyone in the Cortona/Camucia area who wants a good pizza at a reasonable price.

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!

02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

16/08/2025: They change the menu every day. If they have it, I highly recommend the peposo, papardelle with ragu, and any of the vegetable side dishes, all superbly cooked and seasoned. Impeccable service and a pleasant terrace with a view.
