Bistrot Il Magnifico In Firenze

03/03/2024: We visited this place on a late, rainy afternoon. The atmosphere of this place is definitely something you need to pay attention to. View of the square and the illuminated carousel, nicely set tables, lamps and heaters. The service was very nice and communicative. We ordered two pizzas and two teas. The taste is good, but for the price I expected something better (we paid 42 euros). The coperto fee is 3 euros.

10/11/2023: Visited this restaurant in May 2017. We had an early dinner here after a whole day of walking in Florence. The location is great, right in the middle of Piazza della Republica. The alfresco dining area is excellent as you get to see the happenings on the square. The food isn’t bad but we’ve had better during our stay in Tuscany. Service was average, the servers were kind and helpful. It was a bit pricey if I’d compare with the other restaurants we’ve been to. Portions seem smaller even for Italian standards, in my opinion. This restaurant is catered to foreign tourists.
