18/03/2025: I'm just reporting the facts Midweek lunch at the end of September 200g of cold cut 50g of fried mushrooms Water and coffee €41 (In response to the owner, 6 months because Google hadn't published it... I would add that the cut, in addition to being cold, was also very hard... I had almost forgotten)

08/03/2025: Mai più. Tagliere da 18 euro di salumi locali da come dicono loro....invece affettati del discount. Tagliatelle al cinghiale invece tagliatelle con trita di maiale. Tagliatelle alla selvaggina ed è arrivata la stessa Tagliatelle di prima con trita di maiale.

06/08/2025: Il mio ricordo e di un luglio di 40 anni fa ,1985 e DEMOS rimane un gran bel ricordo. Io mia moglie e figlio,spaghetti allo scoglio e fritto misto,, ..vino ambrato che andava giu alla grande, ad un certo punto entra Riccado Fogli con 3 amici mangiano e poi contano ...belli presi anche loro...siamo usciti da demos che erano le 17.00, lo spaghetto il fritto e il vino erano eccezionali ,se ci aggiungi 1/4 di pooh non ti dimenticherai più......

31/07/2025: Dopo un inizio buonissimo con polpo in cantina, siamo sprofondati nel baratro con un riso nero, o meglio grigio, di seppia assolutamente un piatto da non servire in un ristorante. Peccato davvero!

26/07/2025: The pizzeria is a truly pleasant place to sit. You have to like the specialty pizza with the thick crust and baked-in cheese. But they also offer a regular pizza, which we highly recommend. We've been to this pizzeria several times now—spread over several years—and have always been served very warmly. We'd be happy to come back.

05/04/2025: Unico alberghetto in località Ansedonia.Triste,anonimo e vecchio. Servizio svogliato privo di qualsiasi sorriso e lento.Il ristorante come sopra................poco meglio la pizzeria. Prezzi in linea con le aspettative. Unico nota positiva piccola terrazza affacciata sul mare.

03/08/2025: The food was quite good. The service was quite fast. There weren't many people there, which isn't surprising considering the prices. Soft drinks €6.50; coffee €4.

08/06/2025: The food was very good. The spaghetti carbonara was excellent. The wine was also very good. But for some reason they forgot to serve water. And in such heat. But overall everything was good.

24/07/2025: All bad reviews are justified. We waited too long for being asked what to order. the service was slow, although there were not many clients. The menu is mainly based on sea food and the prices are too high for the quality of the dishes. Anyways, i do not recommend the restaurant.

31/05/2025: A true point of reference in the Caffè Fiorentino area! This hotel is much more than just a place to sleep: it is also an excellent restaurant and a welcoming bar, always open until late. The cuisine is authentic, with tasty and well-prepared dishes, perfect for both a quick lunch and a relaxing dinner. The staff is always kind and helpful, the atmosphere warm and familiar. It is the only place of its kind in the area, and luckily it exists! Highly recommended both for those passing through and for those who live nearby.

05/05/2025: Bueno, la gente no está de acuerdo sobre Caffe Bianchi. Nos gustó el café, que estaba cerca de donde nos alojamos. Los otros turistas parecían detenerse en el Palacio Pitti y no continuar. Y sí, el precio es un poco alto, pero el servicio es bueno y energético. No almorzaríamos aquí, pero simplemente pasar el rato en el entorno histórico era agradable.

14/07/2025: I'm giving one star because zero isn't possible. Service is terrible, the piadina was toasted because they forgot it on the grill and served it the same way, and kindness is unknown.

12/08/2025: Poor service, arrogant rude waitress with high opion of herself who did not appologise for serving other people who sat down after us, it was a hot day but no excuse for rudeness, could not sample food as left in search of better cafe. Advise other do the same.

12/08/2025: Super high prices €2.60 for a half-liter bottle and barely adequate food. The cashier was super rude and impolite, but at least the waiter was very kind and professional. I will never go back again.

01/05/2025: An unexpected pleasure in the center of the Fort, excellent food seasoned with the kindness of all the staff. The pizza, the cold cuts platter and the bull's eyes are worth it. We will definitely be back to try the other specialties.

19/04/2025: Ci hanno servito dei primi piatti nn freschi ma riscaldati e crudi , le pizze erano surgelate nonostante le abbiamo pagate 12€ ognuna.Prezzi assurdi in tutto compreso il coperto di carta pagato 2€ e nei piatti del giorno nemmeno specificati i prezzi ,molto scortese la signora tutto fare che nn voleva nemmeno decurtare dal conto i due primi ( riscaldati e crudi internamente) l’unico che si è scusato è stato il cameriere ( nn italiano) ovviamente.

04/08/2025: Visited with friends having previously read the reviews so was prepared for the behaviour of the individual mentioned by other diners and we weren’t disappointed. I’m not sure whether his behaviour is meant to be a gimmick and a talking point of the visit but it actually doesn’t do anything other than make for an unpleasant experience. We had hardly sat down when menu choices were being asked for with no time to actually really look at the menu and decide. Food and drink being chosen rapidly, and wine and water brought, the food arrived. It was OK, somewhat undercooked but edible. By 8.15pm the lights were being turned off, bin bags full of rubbish carried past the table and the board from outside was brought in, clearly hinting it was time to go. We’d been there 45 minutes. We took the hint, paid the bill and left having dealt with his rudeness with politeness throughout. Previous diners have come up with theories as to why this individual behaves as they do. I don’t know what drives the behaviour but we live here, speak Italian and have never experienced this level of inhospitality anywhere in Cortona or the region before. I do hope that visitors coming to Cortona do not think that this restaurant is typical because it is far from that. Fortunately because of this we were able to see the funny side of it but if we were just visiting perhaps this may be more difficult.

29/07/2025: Nos sentamos fuera de este restaurante antes de haber leído TripAdvisor. ¡Igual de bien o puede que le hayamos echado IT una falta! IT fue hilarante una vez que leímos las críticas porque todo IT encajaba en su lugar. La comida era genial y abundante, pero el hombre alto y calvo murmuró sobre nosotros, nos apresuró a pedir, fingió que no entendía cuando estábamos haciendo todo lo posible para pedir en Italiano, rechazó un grupo de estadounidenses a pesar de dos mesas vacías fuera, pero dio la bienvenida a una pareja Italiano con entusiasmo. IT realmente era como Fawlty Towers y sentimos que nos habían preparado para aparecer en una farsa cómica. Encontramos toda la noche muy divertido y entretenido al final, pero IT fue muy extraño. Estoy seguro de que tocaba para el público porque el otro camarero era encantador. De todos modos la comida era genial y la factura era increíblemente razonable. El entorno es precioso, pero estaban apagando las luces a las 9 IT desprecia Google diciendo que está abierto hasta las 11. ITFue una experiencia!!

03/08/2025: il vermentino ino ino a prezzi esorbitanti...una bottiglia in un negozo costa quanto mezzo bicchiere in questa sorta di ristorante sul mare. Piatti niente di che e miseri, varietà insussistente, camerieri supponenti. Esperienza pessima. E' vero che Punta ala è particolare, è vero che il posto da sul mare ma soono andato per mangiare e ho mangiato poco e speso un'eresia.

23/07/2025: This is my fourth stay at this property, which I've known since 2003. It's perfect for those seeking total relaxation in a well-maintained location, surrounded by nature. The breakfast is fantastic, and the staff, who pamper you with top-notch service, are this hotel's strong points. I recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a relaxing break surrounded by nature, as well as families with children.
