01/10/2025: We arrived at Cantina Elbana at 6:30 p.m. and were able to get a table right away. The waiter was initially a bit surprised by our early arrival, but he was very friendly and spoke some German, so communication was easy. The ambiance is typically Italian: cozy, with good music and an open kitchen behind the bar – very authentic. The menu isn't extensive, but it's excellently curated. For starters, we had a cold seafood platter – highly recommended and perfectly portioned. For the main course, we had spaghetti uova di riccio di mare (fantastic, slightly spicy, and perfectly seasoned), ragu di pesce spada (excellent), and paccheri cacciuccatti for our son. A particularly positive aspect: the waiter suggested a half portion, which was still generous, but delicious! Since the portions aren't overly large, there was room for dessert. Unfortunately, three of the seven desserts were unavailable, but the cheesecake with jam and the chocolate cake with cream were delightful. The only minor drawback: While we were eating, the kitchen was washing up, and a strong-smelling cleaning agent was used for a short time, which somewhat spoiled the experience. In summary: Fantastic food, authentic ambiance, and friendly service – we left very satisfied and full. Highly recommended!

07/11/2025: Unspeakable treatment. The prices listed online, which we were asked to adhere to during the booking process, were inflated by the demand for immediate payment upon arrival at the facility, in cash and without an invoice. We had to rush to collect our belongings when the owner arrived late, despite having notified us at the time of booking and subsequently reminding us of our limited availability due to work commitments. The conditions of the campsite are terrible; the bathrooms are squalid, lacking countertops and toilet paper, perpetually dirty and wet. A streetlight, the source of light in the tent area, was turned off the day after our arrival. A terrible experience. The prices listed were €10 per person plus €5 per tent per night. Once we arrived, we were asked for €15 per person and €10 per night. I would show receipts as proof, but they were evidently collected illegally.

02/10/2025: Good fish menu and good selection of raw fish. The desserts aren't up to par. On a negative note, the waiter isn't very keen on making recommendations, as if requests bother him. But despite that, I'd return.

15/10/2025: Ugo’s pub is tucked in a corner across the street from Hotel Conchiglia and near the marina. they have a pub menu (sandwiches and appetizers) as well as a dinner menu and a selection of beer and wine. i ordered the Frittura Di Paraza (Fried Calamari, Shrimp and small fish) from the dinner menu (€20) along with a Leffe Belgian Red Ale (€6) The dish was served with a basket or warm bread which appreciated because the main dish was not pleasant to eat. 😔 The bite sized fish were edible but the calamari was rubbery and the shrimp tiny! All of it was extremely salty! I wish i hadn’t gone there for my last meal in Porto Ercole. It’s important to note that they also charge each person an additional €2 to sit and eat.

14/10/2025: A great stopover. The restaurant is located on the street and has an outdoor seating area overlooking the square, as well as an indoor dining area. In addition to sandwiches, it offers an excellent and refined menu featuring quality local products: we chose the tortello with Seggiano olive oil and pecorino cheese, the gnocchi with ragù, and the artisanal spaghetti with sausage and porcini mushrooms in white sauce. For a side, we chose fried porcini mushrooms, which were delicious. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush. The staff was friendly and helpful.

05/10/2025: A small restaurant with delicious food at a reasonable price. Mostly Italians dined there, with few tourists. The lady who took the order must have been having a bad day because she seemed unwelcome to tourists, but the pizza was delicious.

14/09/2025: I ordered 500g of gelato for delivery and, out of curiosity, weighed it once it arrived: it was 480g. It's not a huge difference, but it's still less than what was declared and paid. I think it's right to pay more attention to these details, because customers expect transparency and fairness. It's a shame, because the gelato is good, but I hope the gelato shop will be more careful in the future, especially with deliveries.

28/08/2025: Excellent gelato, also available gluten-free. Ice cream cakes are also available upon request. Indoor seating (a few tables) and outdoor seating (plenty of seating). I'm giving it 4 stars because the exterior overlooks a parking lot on a busy road.

04/10/2025: The rooms were very dirty, and we were left without water for 5 hours. All the rooms didn't meet our expectations. The owner was very rude, demanding cash upon arrival before showing us the rooms. There were 13 of us, including our motorcycles.

08/09/2025: Excellent food and excellent wine in a welcoming and relaxing location. The owners and staff were very kind. A lunch with family and friends for our wedding anniversary left me with wonderful memories. I highly recommend it!

26/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, at the end of a hike in the Casentino forests. We asked the locals in the town square and were honestly happy with their recommendation. The service was quick and the food was good. A generous appetizer, beer, and dessert were €30 per person.

19/10/2025: My wife and I went for lunch on a Saturday in October, looking for authentic, traditional dishes, and we were in luck with the good, truly authentic cuisine, with generous portions. The service was excellent, but it must be said that the place wasn't very crowded. I can only say that we found the staff friendly and welcoming, and that doesn't hurt either.

02/11/2025: Locale tranquillo frequentato per lo più da famiglie, nel periodo estivo si mangia all'aperto dove c'è una porzione di giardino dedicata ai giochi per i bambini (altalene scivoli e altro) questo lo rende ancora più frequentato da famigli e cene di classe. Le pizze sono veraci e sottili buone direi, il menù offre una scelta sia mare che terra per gustarsi buone portate con un rapporto qualità prezzo giusto. Esiste anche un menù ragazzi con una quantità minore e ovviamente a un prezzo minore. Da consigliare previa prenotazione

21/08/2025: Spurred by the excellent food reviews and intrigued by the unique outdoor seating area, my partner and I decided to book, albeit with some reservations due to the numerous negative reports about the owner's behavior. Unfortunately, those reports proved all too true. We stayed in the restaurant for less than 10 minutes: the owner's welcome was shocking, to say the least. His intrusive, insistent, and above all profoundly rude attitude immediately made the atmosphere unbearable. There was no respect for space, time, or the simple desire to enjoy a quiet evening. We were forced to leave before even calmly ordering, incredulous at the arrogance and total lack of tact demonstrated. An absurd experience that we had never had at any other restaurant. A real shame, because the place has potential, but the owner's attitude makes it absolutely unlivable.

21/10/2025: The food was questionable, the price was too high. Furthermore, in a public place, you shouldn't allow your friends to smoke while other diners are eating. A lack of politeness and respect. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it was a terrible experience.

19/08/2025: This restaurant is located within the resort; we dined there several times during our vacation and were always very pleased with the fish, meat, and pizza dishes. Excellent wine. Very friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. We recommend it.
