09/11/2025: We made a very late reservation on a Saturday evening; there were nine of us, then three more joined us, and although the restaurant was more than full, the owner somehow managed to find extra chairs. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was fabulous. The price was more than reasonable. Thank you so much, you saved our evening!

27/10/2025: Perfect atmosphere, quiet and peaceful, with the sound of the sea as your companion. Very welcoming, friendly and approachable staff and chef. Excellent and refined cuisine. An elegant yet casual restaurant. Reasonable prices for the unique cuisine and for dining with your feet in the sand while enjoying the sea.

08/10/2025: We were there for lunch. The chef served and cooked alone, so you have to bring your time. The reward is the food, with its fresh and harmonious Italian style. You can taste the experience. The chef also knows that fish aren't square. Everything was perfect; I would order it again. Fresh food has its price, and that's no different here.

01/10/2025: We arrived at Cantina Elbana at 6:30 p.m. and were able to get a table right away. The waiter was initially a bit surprised by our early arrival, but he was very friendly and spoke some German, so communication was easy. The ambiance is typically Italian: cozy, with good music and an open kitchen behind the bar – very authentic. The menu isn't extensive, but it's excellently curated. For starters, we had a cold seafood platter – highly recommended and perfectly portioned. For the main course, we had spaghetti uova di riccio di mare (fantastic, slightly spicy, and perfectly seasoned), ragu di pesce spada (excellent), and paccheri cacciuccatti for our son. A particularly positive aspect: the waiter suggested a half portion, which was still generous, but delicious! Since the portions aren't overly large, there was room for dessert. Unfortunately, three of the seven desserts were unavailable, but the cheesecake with jam and the chocolate cake with cream were delightful. The only minor drawback: While we were eating, the kitchen was washing up, and a strong-smelling cleaning agent was used for a short time, which somewhat spoiled the experience. In summary: Fantastic food, authentic ambiance, and friendly service – we left very satisfied and full. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: Impeccable service, detailed explanations of the food and craft beers. We tried the cheese-stuffed meatballs wrapped in bacon (spectacular), ribs with their own barbecue sauce, over-the-top pulled pork, potato croquettes stuffed with melted gorgonzola, and a very tasty coleslaw salad. We also tried the cheese-stuffed jalapeños, which were, needless to say, delicious. Lightly smoky lager or smokier red craft beer, or classic lagers. A truly positive experience.

17/08/2025: Really good beer and a really welcoming atmosphere; after two years of going there, I have to improve my previous reception. For beer lovers in the area, it's a gem worth visiting.

25/10/2025: Small place but exceeded expectations Ordered a seafood pizza, comes uncut, shrimps not peeled, but the pizza itself is delicious. The dough is baked just enough that its crunchy yet easy to bite and not burnt. If you're in the area, give it a shot Service was very fast, but not many people were there during my visit.

14/10/2025: There was a wonderful person attending us last night. Thanks to him my family had a wonderful experience with their food. The food was also wonderful, especially the Carbomare! Is was a carbonara with sea food. So delicious!!

17/08/2025: The atmosphere is simple, the welcome is warm and friendly. The cuisine is clearly home-cooked, with generous and delicious dishes. The service is attentive to customer requests, and the commitment to speed is evident, but we know that there can be waits in any restaurant. The route certainly requires some attention, but just ask the staff for suggestions and try other routes. The price was well in line with what was expected, considering the dishes ordered and the portions. For my part, today's lunch was truly enjoyable.

16/10/2025: A guarantee; my husband and I now eat there often when we come to Castiglione (both for couples' dinners and with family and friends) and I have to say that the quality/price ratio is good, the fish is excellent (you can taste it's fresh), and the wine list is good; the menu is simple but well-crafted, and that's no small thing, sometimes the simple things are the most difficult! We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

03/10/2025: Excellent food. The chef knows his craft. And then the friendly service. That makes dinner a pleasure.

14/09/2025: I ordered 500g of gelato for delivery and, out of curiosity, weighed it once it arrived: it was 480g. It's not a huge difference, but it's still less than what was declared and paid. I think it's right to pay more attention to these details, because customers expect transparency and fairness. It's a shame, because the gelato is good, but I hope the gelato shop will be more careful in the future, especially with deliveries.

28/08/2025: Excellent gelato, also available gluten-free. Ice cream cakes are also available upon request. Indoor seating (a few tables) and outdoor seating (plenty of seating). I'm giving it 4 stars because the exterior overlooks a parking lot on a busy road.

18/09/2025: We booked at 8:00 PM, and at 8:30 PM they took our orders. The place was busy, so we asked if they could bring food for the kids, at least. We could wait. At 9:20 PM, still nothing. We urged the waitress several times, but to no avail. The owner replied, somewhat annoyed, that the kids should be fed first. We paid for our drinks and left.

08/09/2025: Magnificent place, run by fantastic people, beautiful sea. Exceptional lunch, carefully selected ingredients, local organic wine, excellent chef, fantastic day.
