17/11/2025: I've been to Grano Vivo, a gourmet pizzeria that's always intrigued me, and I finally tried it. Let's start with one thing: the pizzas are out of this world. Excellent dough, top-quality ingredients, and truly distinctive flavors. We also tried a multigrain pizza and found it exceptional. If you're looking for a pizza that "makes a difference," this is it. We also had the famous pizza sushi, which looks really cool from the outside and you expect who knows what... well, it was good, but we weren't crazy about it. Perhaps we were expecting something more original in flavor, given how it was presented. But even there, the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. The service was friendly and the staff very helpful, but... the wait was really long. More than 40 minutes for two appetizers and three pizzas, and considering there were quite a few waiters compared to the number of customers, we weren't expecting it. Then, to top it all off, we spilled a beer, but no worries. These things happen, and I understand how easy it is when you're working. More than anything, the table was placed in an inconvenient spot, near the bar, so with the waiters passing by, it was risky. The place has a somewhat unusual decor, a mix of different things, not bad, but a little "so-so." But honestly, with a pizza like this, you can turn a blind eye to everything else. The price is fair for what you get. Sure, it's a shame about the long wait and the accident, but the quality more than makes up for it. Will I go back? Yes, 100%. Because maybe that night went badly, but there are few pizzas this good in Italy, I assure you. And yes, I recommend it. Go with a little patience, but then let yourself be won over by the pizza: it's worth it.

12/11/2025: Very unique pizzas. I had a pizza with baby octopus, potato cream, and parsley... delicious, more like focaccia, very soft. The staff is friendly and quick to resolve issues. Prices are a bit high, but they'll change things up every now and then.

The owners are very nice: when we arrived, they provided us with an umbrella closest to the beach, just like the one booked online, but I saw that the weather was a bit unstable. 07/04/2025: We found ourselves by chance in Sestino and made the very pleasant discovery of this welcoming, well-kept place where you can find a quiet corner whether you go as a couple or for a lunch or dinner with friends but the pleasant discovery is above all due to the food with very high quality fresh fish, simplicity but at the same time cooked with skill, accompanied by excellent wine. I highly recommend it and it's really worth taking a few more hairpin bends to get to this little village where you can find everything 😊👍

15/09/2025: Restaurant: The food in this restaurant is undoubtedly very good – you can immediately tell that the chef really knows what he's doing. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely out of whack. For a small restaurant in a tiny and relatively unknown town like Montisi, the prices are completely exorbitant. There are only two flat rates for primi piatti and secondi piatti – this means, for example, that you have to pay a whopping €22 for a tiny soup that definitely won't fill you up. Even €12 would be quite high for that, but €22 is truly outrageous. The bigger problem, however, is the ordering policy: After we had already ordered a drink and actually only wanted one main course, the waiter informed us that we had to order two dishes per person. The information about this is only mentioned in very small print at the bottom of the menu. This means that guests are either forced to eat more (and pay significantly more) than they actually want – or leave the restaurant. That's exactly what happened at the next table: The guests got up and left because they couldn't afford or didn't want to comply with this rule. We ourselves did order a second course, but it felt very strange to be forced to do so. In my opinion, such a practice is neither hospitable nor economically sensible. Either you allow guests to order according to their hunger and appetite and still make money, or you force them to order two courses and ultimately lose customers. I've never experienced anything like this in Italy, and frankly, I find it extremely rude.

26/06/2025: La Romita es un pintoresco restaurante dirigido por la familia que sirve comida tradicional toscana casera. Éramos 4 adultos que compartimos dos aperitivos que eran increíbles y disfrutamos de primer y segundo plato y luego compartimos un postre. Aunque no son baratos los precios eran comparables a otros restaurantes de calidad en los que hemos estado y la calidad de los platos era excepcional. Los propietarios hablan un poco de inglés, pero logramos entender lo que se ofrecía con la ayuda de un menú en inglés que explicaba algunos de los platos que se ofrecen. Una experiencia auténtica que disfrutaríamos felizmente de nuevo.

19/10/2025: The lunch was spectacular. The owner helped us choose the wine, which turned out to be one of the best of our trip. The wine list is excellent, featuring Brunellos from 1998 to 2022. The pasta is truly outstanding — I highly recommend it. The rabbit didn’t have much meat, but the cheese with honey was wonderful — definitely recommended.

04/10/2025: I'm writing this with the taste of the Super Gigante Gina Stuffed Calzone still on my palate, topped with 'nduja, artichokes, sausage, and spicy salami (basically what the waitress listed, imagining I'd choose from them!). This place is a dive into "I Love Berlinguer" or "West of Donald Duck" or "Madonna, How Quiet It Is Tonight," your choice. I'll be back ASAP! Highly recommended for quality and price!

17/08/2025: Excellent service. Both Claudia and her father were very kind. Family-run. The pool was a bit crowded, so I couldn't use it, but that's understandable for August. We'll be back.

15/08/2025: Bagno Brunella e Ada Beach is simply perfect! The beach is immaculately maintained, clean, and tidy down to the last detail, with well-spaced awnings and extremely comfortable loungers. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to accommodate every request with a smile. The sea is beautiful, and the relaxed atmosphere makes you feel instantly on vacation. The services offered are impeccable: hot showers, clean bathrooms, an excellent bar, and a restaurant with fresh, tasty dishes. The pool is a plus. A place where you can feel the passion and attention to detail. I can't wait to return!

17/10/2025: Overall, it's a nice place to stay, warm and welcoming, with the option of sitting outside. It's great for a beer with friends in the evening. The music is too loud for my taste, making it difficult to have a quiet conversation, but that's a problem with many places these days.
