16/08/2025: From the outside you wouldn't give it two cents, inside it presents itself very well, the cuisine is really excellent both first and second courses, kind and polite of the waitresses, I had a first course, a second course, a side dish 1 water 1 cola and 2 coffees, total 10 euros, fair price and really excellent lunch, place very popular with local workers and couriers, there is a large parking lot behind the restaurant, excellent for vans and flatbeds, highly recommended and I will definitely return

09/09/2025: We arrived at Lo Scalino on a stormy evening and had the entire marquee to ourselves. The intimate setting turned out to be incredibly romantic, setting the tone for one of the most memorable meals of our trip. From start to finish, the food was truly first class. My wife began with the seafood salad while I opted for the gnocchi with mussels both dishes were absolute standouts: fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. For our mains, we enjoyed the Trofie pasta and the Frittura. Once again, the ingredients spoke for themselves simple, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. If I had one small note, it would be that the Frittura had slightly more vegetables than expected in a seafood dish, but it was still thoroughly enjoyable. We finished with a refreshing Sgroppino, the perfect end to the meal. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server wore a smile, was attentive, and the pacing of the meal was spot-on unhurried yet efficient. Having been in Italy for 10 days, this was easily one of the highlights of our journey. We’re even considering returning before we leave. Highly recommended.

The owners are very nice: when we arrived, they provided us with an umbrella closest to the beach, just like the one booked online, but I saw that the weather was a bit unstable. 01/05/2025: Abbiamo preferito l'ottima cucina senese, a base di carne e pasta fatta in casa a mano, al menu di pesce, e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti: i piatti, molto curati ed appetitosi, di grande qualità, serviti con attenzione, sono stati tutti molto piacevoli. Il locale, di lunga tradizione, è molto piacevole.

12/10/2025: Terrible experience. We stayed for 5 days during the summer holidays. Starting with the terrible welcome at reception, with a rude person who was reluctant to provide information about breakfast times, services, and parking. The rooms were not at all welcoming and poorly maintained, lacking hygiene, with mold on the walls and doors that struggled to close due to the wood being "swollen" from humidity. The breakfast, described as international and featuring homemade cakes, turned out to be a lie as the cakes were clearly industrially made and were only dusted with powdered sugar to give them a homemade touch. Other breakfast items, such as yogurt, tea, cereals, and biscuits, were all purchased at the Eurospin discount store near the hotel. In short, the quality was terrible, and the value for money was not at all competitive. I strongly advise against staying at this property. Look elsewhere to avoid partially ruining your holiday.

The food served in the restaurant was delicious – diverse, fresh, and meticulously crafted, and the service was top-notch. Both the restaurant and reception were excellent – ​​guests felt truly cared for and welcomed. I will always remember the staff whose warmth and professionalism made the stay even more enjoyable – Laura, Franko, and the waiter Stefano will long remain in my memory as examples of exceptional hospitality and kindness. I can wholeheartedly recommend HG Hotel Il Settebello to anyone looking to combine a comfortable stay with a warm, Italian atmosphere.

27/05/2025: Historic, good, genuine. My favorite tripe shop. I've been going there for almost 30 years. It's where I ate my first lampredotti, when it was still in the square near the Circolo Vie Nuove. Every time it's like coming home: delicious sandwiches, true courtesy, sincere smiles. A piece of authentic Florence that stands the test of time. Top. Always.

12/08/2025: The owner is very friendly and helpful. We stopped here with our two large dogs by chance and were hungry before reaching the Abbey of San Galgano. The atmosphere is very nice and well-kept. The platters are very rich and delicious, as are the bread and house wine. It's a shame it's so far from home (PC), otherwise it would be one of our favorite places.

19/07/2025: "Filippo": A long-established restaurant in Pietrasanta, another restaurant opened a few years ago in Forte dei Marmi, specifically in the Caranna area. They also serve pizza and simpler dishes, but always excellent and innovative, accompanied by truly professional service... Definitely worth a try! CdM
