24/05/2025: Sitting outside with friends and sipping on whine and beer. Living the vibes, and appreciating the awesome food. Pasta Is homemade, try both the meat and pasta red sauce and the fish and spaghetti pasta. Both really good.

03/04/2025: This was a cute little spot. Had lunch and food was reasonably priced and delicious. Service was great. Coffee was good. No complaints. Would go back anytime.

21/08/2025: This is where they serve thicker pan pizzas (also gluten-free). We had the Pizza Gran Varignano and Burrata Pesto e Basilico. It turned out to be a good choice. The Cecina is a recommended appetizer. It's a kind of pizza slice with a French toast and pancake flavor.

08/11/2025: The pizza is excellent. It's expensive, but the toppings are high-quality, plentiful, and the dough is delicious. My only complaint is the cleanliness. Takeout service, with a cashier who handles cash, doesn't issue a receipt, and then handles ingredients to be added raw. In short, dirty hands that have touched everything. There wasn't a crowd that day. There were three of us at 8:00 waiting for takeout pizzas. So we didn't make it. It's very serious.

02/06/2025: We had lunch today, in the company of Friends. Beautiful location, totally immersed in the greenery, among their vineyards. Knowledgeable and kind staff, Andrea took the time to tell us about their wine, they made us feel like family. The food was excellent, nothing to say and their wine... too. We will definitely be back.

04/09/2025: A very refined and welcoming restaurant, right across from the Goldoni Theater. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with a very friendly and approachable owner. The chef was also extremely helpful and recommended truly spot-on specials of the day. We started with seafood spaghetti with octopus, cod, sea dates, and cherry tomatoes: rich in flavor and well-balanced. Then came the tempura shrimp, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, accompanied by delicious sauces. The Mediterranean-style cod was one of the highlights of the lunch: tasty, not too salty, and perfectly balanced. A genuine experience, with attentive customer service, top-quality ingredients, and well-crafted cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

07/09/2025: An ideal place for a vacation in the green heart of upper Umbria, a good starting point for destinations like Lake Trasimeno, Tuoro, Passignano, Castiglione, and a quick trip to Tuscany. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Excellent pool and restaurant. All this is enhanced by the helpful and friendly owners. We'll definitely be back!

26/09/2025: I'm absolutely thrilled! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcome. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful at all times. The room was spotlessly clean, modernly furnished, and very comfortable. I particularly like the cozy bed and the peaceful atmosphere – perfect for a restful sleep. The bathroom was also very well-maintained and well-equipped. The breakfast was excellently varied. The hotel's location is also ideal: central yet quiet. All in all: a perfect hotel experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return.

27/08/2025: We stayed just one night. Everyone was very friendly, the room was beautiful and spacious, and the tortelli were excellent. It's worth returning.

16/09/2025: We returned with pleasure after several years and, as always with pleasure, we found the quality of the food excellent, and the prices are proportionate to the quality.

08/09/2025: I returned to the Hotel Casanova after several years, which for various reasons prevented me from enjoying a relaxing stay. I found the same friendliness, cordiality, and excellent cuisine of Ugo and his family that I had left behind. I won't list the hotel's special features, which are amply described in the numerous reviews. I simply want to thank Ugo and his family for allowing me, my wife, daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law to spend a relaxing week at their hotel. We'll see you again next year.

10/11/2024: Le ragazze del Fatt'ammano hanno "bissato" la piacevolissima impressione avuta qualche anno fa, una scelta di qualità ed un menù che forse potrebbe disorientare chi va in caccia dei piatti tradizionali amiatini, ma che non tradisce, anzi supera le aspettative di chi, come noi, dall'Amiata viene, ne conosce i sapori e, nella propria cucina, cerca di "trasmetterli" ad amici e ospiti. Assolutamente consigliata la prenotazione soprattutto nel periodo autunnale ed invernale, il locale, per quanto accogliente, non è grandissimo e, tutto sommato, alla fine questo diventa un vantaggio in termini di comfort acustico: anche a sala piena si riesce a conversare agevolmente a bassa voce. BRAVE !

02/05/2025: I ordered the Affogato with Pistachio. At €8 this is very expensive, and, in my opinion it is definitely not worth it. Average coffee and average gelato to go with it. I would say it is 100% not worth the long lines if you go later in the day time. The you could get something like this elsewhere without long lines and probably much cheaper. Here you will be paying the instagram influencer hype premium for an average experience I also ate a chocolate croissant however, and this was delicious. Overalll I would not recommend this place. If you really want to try it, then, one should arrive very early soon after opening to avoid the long wait.

01/05/2025: Locale non attrezzato ad accogliere la gran quantità di clienti. Impossibile trovare un posto a sedere al suo interno. Gelato affogato nel caffé buono ma troppo costoso ( 6 euro per una quantită da coppetta piccola, 8 per la stessa quantità al pistacchio é assolutamente deplorevole). Inoltre dover mangiarlo nella tazza da cappuccino, quando i tavoli sono occupati, comporta dover andare per strada, con tazza e piattino in mano, in mezzo ai passanti e senza posto a sedere per poi dover restituire la tazza sia scomodo e stressante, anche perché si rischia di sporcarsi con il caffè. Il gelato senza il caffé é veramente troppo dolce. Consiglio: per chi vuole risparmiare, ordini una coppetta della dimensione che piú preferisce e un caffé da asporto, scavare il gelato con la paletta e versare il caffé al suo interno. Risultato identico a quello di 6 euro ma a un prezzo ragionevole. Per cortesia non spendete 8 euro per la versione al pistacchio perché non vi é alcuna differenza con la versione alla vaniglia in quanto il caffé copre molto il sapore del pistacchio.
