07/09/2025: The restaurant has a lovely location, with a lovely sea view, especially in the summer. The pizza and penne with scampi were good, but the spaghetti with clams wasn't exactly convincing. The real disappointment came with the fried fish: a meager portion and, above all, bland, soft, and flavorless. Even the desserts didn't improve the experience; on the contrary: the tiramisu, served almost warm and made on the spot, tasted like panna cotta; the gelato was average. The staff is friendly but often a bit absent; you sometimes have to call back several times for your order. The price would be fair if the quality matched expectations, but it's a shame.

07/09/2025: A very nice location, with well-arranged tables between the building and the beach, simply set with appropriate lighting. The clientele was polite and spoke moderately. The pizzas were a plus, very good... but the fried seafood needed a rethink, in my opinion "sad" due to its dull colors and bland flavor. The desserts, too, included a rather unappealing strawberry gelato (cream), and a tiramisu (perhaps assembled on the spot) that wasn't solid; unfortunately, the cream and biscuits had become a doughy mixture. Overall, a decent dinner, and friendly staff.

18/10/2025: We found this place by chance, a very pleasant discovery! We tried some very unique and delicious craft beers. For lunch, we had anchovies with butter and bread, and some very special artisanal taglioni, which were the dish of the day, so I don't know if they're on the menu again. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! A very positive note for the staff; the guy who served us was extremely kind!

23/09/2025: We had a great time; the briao octopus was truly delicious and tender. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu and style were unique, not your typical seafood menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through Porto Azzurro.

07/09/2025: We attended a birthday party for 13 people. The pizzas arrived after an hour and a half (we were seated at 9:00 PM, and the pizzas arrived at 10:35 PM). When we asked for information, the owner was absolutely rude, and we were tempted to leave and grab dinner somewhere else. We will definitely never return; the positive reviews are completely fake. We strongly advise against it.

07/09/2025: If you're not hungry and have time to waste, this is the place for you. There were 10 of us, with a reservation for 9 PM. We arrived on time and were seated, and 10 minutes later we ordered. After AN HOUR, we went to ask how long it would take for the pizzas to come out and were told, "You were the last to arrive, so eat last." Of course, that's fair enough, but you can't wait AN HOUR AND A HALF for pizzas. It's a shame, because the pizza was good, but the staff was rude and unprofessional. Never again.

25/08/2025: Very happy to be able to eat good Peruvian food in Florence. Good service. It feels like we're in Lima.

12/10/2025: A very nice and well-run small wine shop, with a wide selection of wines. I stopped for an aperitif and drank good wine. The platter of very good, high-quality cured meats was excellent.

02/08/2025: Excellent location off the highway, with convenient parking. Excellent breakfast: truly top-quality cappuccino and croissant. A receipt was provided (no small feat in Italy). Five stars, if not for one unintentionally "cringe" episode. In the bathroom, I found a sign encouraging proper use of the facilities, indicating that use is "monitored by staff." I don't like these kinds of notices; they're unwelcoming. As I was leaving, I saw (I think it was a pure coincidence) a staff member actually enter the bathroom. It left me feeling uneasy; I hope it was my impression, but... the message of care could have been phrased in a more hospitable way, commensurate with the quality of the breakfast.

28/09/2025: The food isn't bad, but the prices are high for the location, the cold restaurant, and the service leaves much to be desired. Above all, there's no menu with prices, so you'll end up with surprises on the bill.

18/09/2025: Typical atmosphere with old-fashioned wood furnishings. Calm but friendly service. Tortelli with pecorino cheese and pears, excellent! 😋 Tagliata with mushrooms, good and tender! Prices are fair for the quality.

05/11/2025: Tonight I'm going to make you laugh... On our way to dinner, they ask me how the food is at Motta (let me start by saying I've already been there and know the food is excellent), so I come here on Google to read the reviews. I have a blast reading the reviews in response to those idiots who give it one star and then comment with crazy bullshit... I say there's no way you can't have a bad experience: the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Yet we bother them by asking questions about the menu at least four times, and we never get an inappropriate answer (and yet we're not alone in the restaurant; there are several customers, and they have their own things to do). Once we've ordered (while sipping a prosecco), the dishes arrive: first, a second serving of tartare accompanied by tagliatelle with wild boar (both excellent), then we have a fritto dell'aia and a peposo (what can I say, perfect). The funny thing is, we struggle to finish dinner due to the large portions. I'm attaching photos of the dishes because I can't describe how delicious they are... Oh, do you want to know the price? I haven't paid yet, I'm not running away, it's just that when you're enjoying yourself at the table, you shouldn't look at the bill... What can I say? Lots of kisses to everyone, and come try it... Then let me know...

02/09/2025: Slightly outside Siena, located inside a very welcoming campsite surrounded by greenery, quiet, and with very friendly staff. The Tuscan specialties and pizza are excellent. Recommended 👍

05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4. El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo. Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos. Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

31/07/2025: We choose this vineyard because not many does sparkling and we wanted to go to one that does it. It turns out to be amazing. We really enjoyed the tasting and the selection. Staff were friendly and experience. We even got more bottles than we planned. Would highly recommend this place.

19/06/2025: Nel borgo storico di Lucignano questo ristorante è veramente buono: cucina della tradizione toscana di ottima qualità, anche quella più semplice (panzanella strepitosa) servita in un bel ristornate con una bellissima terrazza. I prezzi sono corretti, come le porzioni. Il personale è gentile ed estrmamente professionale, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Complimenti.

19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati all'ultimo minuto di sabato sera, e nonostante il locale fosse pieno, Stefania – gentilissima e davvero professionale – è riuscita a trovarci un tavolo. Un grazie speciale a lei per l'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio! Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: come antipasto abbiamo preso dei crostini deliziosi, saporiti e ben presentati. Il piatto forte della serata è stata la bistecca in costa, cotta alla perfezione e tenerissima – semplicemente eccezionale. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso di Montalcino che ha esaltato ogni sapore. Davvero ottimo! Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti: qualità, atmosfera e servizio impeccabili. È un ristorante che consiglio vivamente, ma… prenotate per tempo, soprattutto nel weekend!
