04/08/2025: Italian’s ice cream… what else ? 👍

08/06/2025: It has been my favorite ice cream shop for years! The quality of the ice creams is unique because the raw materials used for each flavor are unique! Another important characteristic of this ice cream shop is that it does not rely on classic and more traditional flavors but, alongside these flavors, new ones are periodically created! An ice cream shop that you absolutely must try, you will not regret it!!!!

23/10/2025: Despite it being off-season and the restaurant being completely empty, we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant, contrary to our request. The service was pleasant but pushy. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disappointment; neither the pasta nor the meat dishes tasted anywhere near to our liking. I wouldn't recommend it.

13/10/2025: In the off-season, you have to take what's open, but this place was a complete disappointment. We weren't particularly hungry in the evening, but the pasta portions there are really only meant for the first course of many courses to fill you up. Unfriendly service, excessively high prices for the miniature portions, plus the €2.50 cover and expensive drinks make this place a tourist rip-off.

26/10/2025: We ordered a ribollita, and it arrived with a very runny vegetable puree... I couldn't believe it... we pointed it out, but the waitress replied very annoyed that it was the right thing to do. The pumpkin gnocchi were anemic, flavorless, and a slapdash mess. We then ordered a tagliata with oil and rosemary, and a plate of lamb's lettuce was presented to us, topped with four slices of completely unseasoned meat... there was really no point in asking for an explanation, given the lack of response when they asked how it was going and we replied, "bad!" The wine was good, as was the oil...the only positives.

28/09/2025: Excellent food and a very nice atmosphere! We really enjoyed it. The dishes are exceptionally delicious (including dessert)...and not expensive at all. Homemade ketchup. And they serve German beer. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

06/11/2025: Dal Bardo in Lucca is an amazing spot to enjoy delicious food and drinks in a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The place is full of energy, with great music and a fun crowd that makes the experience even better. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring everything runs smoothly. We truly enjoyed our time here the food was flavorful, the drinks were great, and the whole vibe of the place made it one of the highlights of our visit to Lucca. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun night out with great food and good energy!

25/11/2025: A beautiful campsite on a clifftop with wonderful views and breathtaking sunsets. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and there's a great restaurant. And—which is quite rare—the campsite is open all year round!

29/11/2025: Pappardelle with ragù wasn't bad, but the portion wasn't too large. Crepes were good. The desserts were very good!

28/11/2025: I went in for an after dinner pastry and was not disappointed! While the options are many, I don't think you could go wrong with everything that was displayed. The gentleman helping me was very kind and explained me delicious choice. I look forward to another visit and pastery to try.

08/11/2025: Mirkos is truly a Wonderful dining experience. The food is always amazing. Franco is the perfect host, always attentive and such a warm friendly smile. On a scale of 1-5 he is 10.

19/10/2025: Today, the Carabinieri were faster than us. I don't know if they had any complaints. At least the start of our planned dinner with friends was delayed by 1.5 hours. That wouldn't be a problem if you immediately gave the guests your full attention and at least took their drink orders, but it took 25 minutes before someone deigned to take a drink order. My patience was certainly overstretched, and it's evident in these lines. When my stomach is in my knees, I'm quickly inclined to leave a restaurant, but up here in the mountains, it's hard to leave when the best wife in the world and her mother are trying to stop you... Now we've just learned the reason for the unwanted guests: apparently, there was a complaint because various cakes had been brought in for a child's birthday party by the parents and guests. In other words, the proprietor tried to rent out his premises, which apparently prompted a competitor to file a complaint. After almost two hours, we were served our appetizers: Monti e Mare, with the mountains clearly given priority. A very extensive selection, which tasted very good and put me in a good mood. Afterwards, we had grilled pork ribs and grilled rump of beef with French fries. Both were very delicious. We started with a red wine and switched to rosé for the main course, although the red wine was more to my taste. Conclusion: considering the circumstances, we had a pleasant evening with a reasonably priced meal. To the proprietor: if he finds out whether the ad came from a competitor, I hereby offer him my moral support and will avoid this competitor in the future.

10/11/2025: From Viareggio we moved a few kilometers inland to try this place for dinner. There were two reasons: the 50% discount with TheFork and the exclusively meat menu in an area where almost everyone does fish.... The restaurant is located along the Sarzanese state road and has a parking lot right in front. The rooms inside are large and well-kept, with a nice atmosphere. In addition to the menu, the owner offered us some extra game dishes. Anyway, from the menu we chose a shared pre-starter (panzanelle, a little salty, with cured meats), 2 appetizers (2 simple tartares) and 2 first courses (tordelli with ragu and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms), all washed down with 2 bottled beers. The meat was good and the pasta dishes (homemade) were excellent. Decent portions and very courteous and timely service. Even the restrooms were in excellent condition. The prices are fairly high average, but with the 50% discount, dinner became a bargain, despite the rather steep cover charge of €4 per person. In short, a place a little out of the way but definitely recommended. I'm attaching our final receipt for €53 thanks to the 50% discount from TheFork.

09/11/2025: An excellent restaurant specializing in game and truffle dishes. Excellent tagliolini with truffles, and excellent quail with truffles. A restaurant I'll definitely return to. The best restaurant in the area. Very helpful, courteous, and professional staff. Very convenient reserved parking. As an architect, Gabriele Valentini of ATELIER OF ARCHITECTURE, in the area for work, I agree that the dining room where we had lunch is bright and very beautiful. Many details that only I notice could be improved. It's particularly pleasant, bathed in sunlight. Unfortunately, for those with numerous intolerances, including sugar, they don't serve sugar-free desserts, spelt bread, whole-wheat spelt pasta, grape juice, or maple syrup.

01/11/2025: I went to Antica Locanda da Luca in Viareggio and had a truly wonderful meal! The seafood spaghetti was excellent, full of flavor and fresh fish, and the mixed fried fish and vegetables were light and crispy just right. A welcoming place where you can taste the care they put into seafood cuisine. Highly recommended! 🦑🍝

30/10/2025: I had a wonderful experience in a welcoming and family-friendly environment, where I enjoyed generous, high-quality dishes. The waiters were kind and helpful, and chef Luca did an excellent job. I can't wait to return with my family. Thank you!

08/09/2025: Nice and clean place, good pizzas served in rectangular shapes, tasty and well-topped. Private parking. Fast service, average prices.

08/09/2025: We dined in the garden...nice, but it's definitely nicer inside. The Taranto Pinza was excellent...crispy and tasty. I recommend it. Good desserts.

31/10/2025: This restaurant has excellent food, friendly but at the same time very precise service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for spending the evening together, a 4 and a half star restaurant that you absolutely must try. Congratulations
