31/05/2025: Amazing location, super friendly staff and Marco is a fantastic cook. Worth a small detour from the via degli Dei and take a rest day by the lovely pool if you have time. There's a fishing lake down the hill you can catch trout for lunch at!

12/08/2025: Scoperto quasi per caso. Cercavo un posto a Pistoia dove mangiare il pesce e ho visto questa location. Fissato per il compleanno di mia moglie l’11 Agosto e quindi cenato da loro. È stata un’esperienza fantastica… Location bellissima, personale professionale ma soprattutto gentilissimo. Ci hanno fatto sentire come se fossimo a cena a casa nostra. Se gli chiedevi info su una portata, subito gentilissimi e sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra ti davano spiegazione sulla portata da scegliere. Io personalmente affibbiò ben 10 STELLE all’equipe del ROSSO VENEZIANO. Che dire delle portate? Da 10 ma non basterebbero le stelle in cielo per la bontà … Dai, se non ci siete mai stati dovete provarlo in tutti i modi. Il prezzo vale per tutto, ma sono sicuro che mi ringrazierete per il consiglio. Credetemi, ma ho intenzione di ritornarci… A presto ❤️

07/08/2025: Finalmente dopo vari tentativi, il locale è sempre pieno ,sono riuscito a cenare in questo ristorante . Devo dire che ho mangiato benissimo , ottimo antipasto di crudo e un primo veramente squisito , e un dolce di elevata raffinatezza. Personale gentilissimo . Il conto , parere personale, lo trovo allineato alla qualità di quello che ho mangiato

01/11/2025: One of my guests asked for a large portion of a first course and, effervescent, received a large portion of the dish, but the bill was charged for two portions of that dish without informing him. This was truly despicable behavior. The food was passable, nothing exceptional.

30/09/2025: The pizza dough was very chewy and satisfying. It seemed like there wasn't enough cheese, but it was balanced to complement the pizza dough. The pizza dough was excellent and delicious. I got a discount for making a reservation, and it was delicious. Since it's a pizzeria, I don't recommend the pasta.

11/09/2025: I went to this restaurant last Sunday with a couple of friends and we loved it. It was like eating at your grandmother's or aunt's in the countryside, where you get a lovely, wholesome meal (so you have to like the style). It's a family-run restaurant with simple, yet authentic and tasty food. The set menu is amazing: for €35 you get a bottle of wine, water, appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, coffee, and vinstanto with cantuccini biscuits. Generous portions! The staff is very friendly :)

21/06/2025: Nel centro di Marina di Massa, ma in una zona un po’ defilata e perciò molto tranquilla, a pochi metri dalla chiesa, c’è questo piccolo angolo prevalentemente di cucina siciliana. Nella piccola stanza l’ambiente è molto gradevole e accoglie i pochi tavoli presenti. Nella bella stagione si può anche stare fuori nel dehor di fronte alla strada. Il menù è molto curato con interessanti proposte soprattutto di cucina siciliana. La mano di Mariano, lo chef e proprietario, è attenta a bilanciate i vari ingredienti tutti di ottima qualità (fatti arrivare appositamente da Mazara del Vallo, la sua terra di origine) e a far esaltare tutti i loro profumi e i loro sapori. Anche l’impiattamento è fatto con attenzione e cura. Da segnalare le busiate alla Mariano (con pistacchi e gamberi rosa) e le chitarrine ai ricci di mare e gamberi rosa, entrambe notevoli anche se a gusto dei commensali avevano bisogno di un po’ più di sale. Molto buona la parmigiana alla siciliana con fonduta di parmigiano e le sarde a beccafico. Alla fine un tripudio di dolcezza siciliana con il cannolo e la cassatina, tutti di ottima qualità con una ricotta super. Il sevizio davvero molto professionale ma discreto e non invadente. Interessante la carta dei vini con etichette, soprattutto siciliane, di buon livello. Locale consigliatissimo per ci vuole assaporare il pesce di buona qualità a prezzi onesti, in alternativa alla proposta locale che ultimamente sta diventando molto ardua in punto qualità e soprattutto per i costi.

18/06/2025: Piacevolmente stupiti. Con la mia compagna siamo stati due giorni a Marina di massa e grazie a TripAdvisor ho scoperto questo ristorante. In posizione centrale ma di poco defilato dal centro (quindi meno casino e meno difficoltà a parcheggiare in caso si andasse in auto). Cucina mediterranea, siciliana prevalentemente pesce ma anche altro. Ottimi piatti, pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato. Io ho preso una Busiata con pistacchi e pesce, la mia compagna un antipasto caldo di mare, buonissimi, poi di secondo un fritto misto e lei un tonno al sesamo. Tutto ottimo e porzioni abbondanti. Buono anche in vino al calice. Bravi e precisi nel servizio. Sicuramente ci tornerò.

14/10/2025: We had the Rosticciana alla Griglia con patate fritte and the Grigliata Mista, along with Verdure miste al forno and two glasses of local Chianti — one from the immediate area. Every bite was succulent and perfectly cooked. The meats were grilled to order, full of flavour, and the vegetables beautifully roasted. Service was relaxed and friendly, and sitting in the glorious sunshine in the little piazza made it even better. A place to slow down, sip some wine, and savour genuine Tuscan cooking.

07/09/2025: Recommended for those in Pistoia for a visit or business trip and looking to eat well without overdoing it! I stumbled upon this place by chance on a Sunday for lunch and it was a pleasant surprise. Varied menu, quality products, generous portions, reasonable wait times, cleanliness, friendly staff, and excellent value! The place is casual and has everything you need; the restroom was clean. We had the pici cacio e pepe, which were generous and flavorful. The carbonara, which my son ordered, was also excellent; he polished it off! We finished our meal with a mixed grill, which was very good! If we ever return to Pistoia, I think we'll be back!

25/09/2025: Excellent cuisine, high-quality traditional dishes. Nice wine list, more original than the local ones. We really enjoyed our stay.

23/09/2025: Four of us went there for dinner last night. The food was good, but overall, we weren't impressed. There was no music, and the atmosphere wasn't particularly inviting – even though there were only three tables occupied, there were two waiters serving, who didn't seem particularly friendly or attentive. The atmosphere was simply lacking. We found the prices significantly too high: for four main courses that were truly meager, even two light eaters said two waters and two bottles of wine (approx. €30 each), a portion of purée cost €10, which wasn't included with the €40 fish, so €50 for a small portion of fish with tomatoes, we paid over €300. For that price, we would have expected a more harmonious ambiance and a special overall experience. Overall, it was rather disappointing – good food, but not convincing value for money, and no atmosphere that would make us come back.
