Nice place. Very fast service. The steak cut was good (though a bit small). Reservations are recommended because the steaks are always very sharp. Small parking lot.

Very nice and well-kept place. The paccheri were really excellent. The pizza was also good. I absolutely recommend the Cecina, it's amazing! Friendly, kind, and fast service.

Perhaps the best "Pisan-style" pizza in the entire province, far surpassing Pisa's historic pizzerias with a modern and professional concept that maintains the humble characteristics of Pisan tradition. A superior cecina, worthy of the gastronomic Olympus alongside legendary names like Gagarin. The engaging atmosphere and professional and courteous staff make you feel at home. The only drawback is the parking lot, which is too small; you have to park your car on the (very busy) street, but that's just a small flaw in this Pisan culinary excellence.

Everything was very good, although perhaps it was my impression that we noticed a difference between pizza eaten at the table/restaurant with whole pizzas and quarters at the tables outside.

04/04/2026: It was a truly fantastic meal. The whole family was delighted with the quality of the food. The waiters were also very friendly and welcoming, explaining all the restaurant's specialties. The menu includes typical dishes not found elsewhere. The sweet and spicy wild boar was superb!! We highly recommend it!!!
02/04/2026: I was out with my girlfriend, riding my motorcycle, and we chose this place to eat because it was close to where we'd parked our bike. The place is very welcoming, with an old-fashioned style that fits in well with the town. The waiter was very kind in explaining the tavern's typical and unique dishes and wines, which are what we ordered, and we didn't regret it. Terrine as an appetizer, along with fried artichokes, followed by Etruscan-style pici and sweet and sour wild boar—unusual dishes that absolutely must be tried. If you're passing through Volterra, I recommend stopping by. Since it's a unique menu, it's a little more expensive than usual, but that's to be expected, and it's worth it.
