13/04/2025: Probably the best meal I had in Tuscany. Chef Alba is great! I ate here twice, first night I had the gnocchi with yellow pumpkin pesto and blue cheese... amazing. We also did the tasting menu the second night and the wild boar dish was great. The gnocchi with the pumpkin and blue cheese was definitely the best though. Excellent service and phenomenal views of the vineyards and surrounding countryside. Salvadonicas chianti classico is good as well.

17/01/2025: I stopped there for three nights with my wife. In their restaurant I was able to try some excellent local cuisine, the rooms are clean and quiet, and there is also a swimming pool. Then we met the manager Katia who is always very kind to everyone. I recommend it

19/04/2025: Good value for money, rooms smaller than I imagined and poorly equipped (no TV in the rooms but only in the living room, no kettle etc...) The place is beautiful and the breakfast is excellent but with times that are good for those who want to go sightseeing and not for those who want to have a relaxing holiday (last entry for breakfast at 9.30 is a bit early). Hospitality and courtesy.

26/03/2025: Maggie e' diventato il nostro ristorante preferito in cui andare praticamente ogni settimana!! il cibo e' buonissimo, le pizze fantastiche e il servizio ottimo!! ormai noi ci sentiamo come a casa! lo consiglio veramente a tutti!! Antipasto di mare, polentine ai funghi e poi le pizze!! mi viene l'acquolina in bocca solo a pensarci!! unica pecca e' troppo piccolo e a volte non troviamo posto nel fine settimana!!!

10/03/2025: I FUCK IT A very colorful little house, a tiny restaurant, with lots of gadgets hanging from it. The list of dishes which is renewed every day, written by hand on a piece of paper...... Two big black men, unlikely waiters, apparently simple dishes with lots of excellent food..... Just the right amount of time and a very small bill! In the kitchen perhaps a sorceress or a fairy with a magic wand and a painted Maori warrior, but it's not a miracle or witchcraft, it's everyday reality, very good. I joked of course but absolutely worth trying.

22/12/2024: I absolutely love this hotel. Loved it if I have to tell the truth. This summer we returned and I felt like a category B customer. I felt the staff was a little rude. In the bar near the swimming pool and in the reception area. And a shame. It seems that if you are not Italian you are a second choice customer. Furthermore, I didn't understand how it is possible that there is no buggy shuttle to go to the villas at the bottom. If I had crutches or wheelchairs, I couldn't move. It was almost 40 degrees and we had to walk in the sun. It was impossible to use the swimming pool near the villa for 1000 of bees. And no one even cared. Because we also had children. Anyway, I'm not coming back anymore

06/04/2025: The owner is very very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, familiar and chic. People in Pisa are very polite and delicate, in general. Very good food and wine! I ordered a tagliata di manzo with cipolla and I felt many flavors together.. UMAMI.. very delicious! Go!

07/02/2025: Capita che si fissi una cena con amici all'ultimo momento di sabato sera; i soliti ristoranti, gremiti. Vediamo nella zona di Grassina (Bagno a Ripoli) cosa si può trovare; su Tripadvisor noto l'Hosteria Pura (mai frequentata ) ancora disponibile, qualche recensione molto perfida altre, anche troppo altisonanti. Il locale è molto piccolo, arredamento spartano, menù semplice di carne e pesce. Il personale di sala (penso si tratti dei titolari) molto carino e professionale, provati piatti di pesce anche se siamo a 120 km dal mare. Moscardini in umido buoni, Taglierini al limone e gamberi (porzioni esagerate) molto buoni, Frittura di calamari e gamberi passabile (le verdure, no per favore, troppo unte d'olio), le Polpette di baccalà sufficienti, il Tomino in crosta buono.. Cantina limitata. Prezzi non molto economici, ma è pesce comunque.
