01/11/2025: First of all, the atmosphere and kindness of the owners and their family are really great! I was wondering what to eat for dinner on my first night in Florence, but I ended up going there and eating Cacio È Pepe, lampredotto, and Tagliata alle Scaglie di Parmigiano. They were absolutely delicious! They couldn't even compare to the pasta I had in Korea. So, we visited again the next day and had another pasta and Tagliata alle Scaglie di Parmigiano, and the food itself was just delicious! The chocolate whiskey(?) that they gave us after the meal was also really delicious! I will definitely come back here next time I visit Florence! Additionally, the 1/2 vino was cheap and delicious at 6 euros!

03/11/2025: The pizza was really good and the service was friendly. The only downside was the loud music, which forced us to leave the restaurant immediately after finishing our meal.

25/10/2025: We had pizza...and dessert, all very good. Besides the classic ones, there are gourmet ones. The idea of ​​offering the same pizza with a thin crust or with a classic crust is a smart one. I'll be back soon to try other dishes. Well done!

08/11/2025: We visited twice in September during our trip to Italy. We enjoyed our delicious and generous portions and the variety of the menu. And above all, for French people, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, in true Italian style (clearly many regulars). Thank you to the ladies, both young and old, who served us with patience and kindness. We had two wonderful evenings there. The "black & white" tourists.

31/10/2025: Let me start by saying that I don't like giving bad reviews, and I don't mean it to be mean, but I'm just expressing my personal experience. My boyfriend and I aren't local; we were passing through, and seeing all the good reviews, we decided to try it. I had the Wednesday menu (ham with fritters, a choice of pizza, and a small drink). I can't complain about the ham, and the fugassin (as we call them) were very good. The pizza, to be honest, lacked a balanced mix of ingredients; there were more mushrooms than ham, and it overpowered the overall flavor. The dough, however, was very light and well-made. Unfortunately, things didn't go very well for my boyfriend. He had asked for a pumpkin and sausage risotto, but instead they brought him a marinara with shrimp, cheese, and lots of pepper (I should point out that he didn't let them know about the mistake because he doesn't like to be a nuisance, even though he should have). However, he likes shrimp, so he accepted the dish, but he couldn't eat it (I tried it too). There was an excessive amount of pepper, and to be honest, it tasted like those half-baked packets of rice from the store. I say this because my parents always bought them, unfortunately for me. Let's just say he ate as much as he could. We finally chose two desserts, a tiramisu and a chocolate cheesecake. The tiramisu wasn't bad, but the cheesecake... aside from the good base, the cheese part had a rather sweet taste, plus there was no chocolate on top. There was a chocolate topping that was also so sweet it was inedible. If it had had regular melted chocolate, it would have been more balanced. What can I say, I was very disappointed, maybe with other dishes it would have been better, maybe as a tip, even if the place is full, take 30 seconds to repeat the dishes chosen to the customer so as not to make mistakes, for the rest the location was nice

11/10/2025: We relied on Ventura catering for our wedding and our little one's baptism. Everything was perfect, the food was excellent, everything was made with care, the wedding cake was perfect, made as we wanted it and above all delicious. Impeccable service. The staff was always available and with a smile, thanks for everything.

13/05/2025: I give 4 stars to the food because we only tried the bagged chips. But the cocktail was very good (both). The place has an old and elegant style, good music and the service was the best, they give you advice and explain what each cocktail has. I recommend you go for an aperitif or dinner. Fair prices for the quality (€8/€10 for a cocktail, €6 for a glass of wine and €5 for a draft beer).

19/09/2025: We tried the average "Fidati di Robè" (chef) menu, which included a starter, a second course, a glass of wine, and water for €25. The first course was good, with fresh fish (not much), the second course was good but similar to nouvelle cuisine, and two bites of cod on mashed potatoes... the fish was excellent, but you might wake up hungry.

07/09/2025: Cannot rate this place enough, we stayed a 5 minute walk from here and really wanted local seafood. They speak very little english but I personally think it added to our experience. I just said give us whatever you recommend, we got a seafood anti pasti which I think came with more than what was on the menu, I then got seafood pasta and my partner the octopus, both STUNNING. they were super patient with us and was happy to speak into our translator. Thank you so much for a memorable evening id recommend to everyone visiting the area!

10/09/2025: One of Prato's most historic seafood restaurants. The vintage decor feels like a step back in time. The fish is high-quality and fresh, and the dishes are simple yet effective. Very good first courses. The wine list offers a wide selection. The only downside is the slightly above-average prices.

06/11/2025: Very unsatisfactory. Mean portions . No atmosphere and particularly nasty Parmagiano Melazano and a dodgy crème brûlée. Furiously expensive and in a city of great restaurants best avoid this one.

31/10/2025: As a travel advisor and restaurant reviewer, I went to Il Borro Tuscan Bistro ready for an exquisite dining experience. I was hugely disappointed! It’s a true shame because the cuisine was very well prepared. Everything else was a disaster. We were seated straight away and then left there with no attention for about 10 min. Finally, I flagged a server who brought menus and took our drink order. Then, nothing again! I asked for a server and two people told me their colleague would come to help us. Why does it take three people to take our order? We asked for butter. It was forgotten. We asked again. Nothing. We asked a different server and finally, we received the butter, already halfway through our bread and our appetizer. Things didn’t get better from a service perspective and although the food was quite nice, it wasn’t good enough to compensate for the poor service. The server even apologized because she knew it was bad service and when she was apologizing, she said, “I’m doing the best that I can”, in a loud voice which caused customers at the nearby tables to turn and look at us as if we were complaining. We hadn’t said a word at that point! So embarrassing. We requested the bill three times before it was brought to us. Needless to say, we will never return and I certainly won’t recommend this restaurant to my travel clients.

27/09/2025: Stopping for lunch or dinner at Luca at Bar Aurelio is always a guarantee!! I rarely find people so passionate about the food they offer, from appetizers to desserts and snacks, exceptional quality!!!... The raw materials are excellent and are the result of travel and immersion in the places where they are produced... He has a deep knowledge of the products he chooses, trades and with which he prepares phenomenal dishes! Wood-fired porchetta... his wood-fired oven churns out irresistible potatoes and meats... guys, stop by... even for a snack. And try the excellent quality even in what may seem like a simple sandwich or appetizer! A great connoisseur of Tuscan olive oil as it should be!!!! Pasta and rice of the best reserves!!!! And for this too I find myself in agreement with his choices! 🤗 To Luca and all his staff (truly excellent!) my best compliments!!!!

24/08/2025: Da Aurelio is a guarantee. Last night, I enjoyed a platter of cured meats, wonderful mozzarella, gorgonzola, and sausages, unique porchetta with potatoes, and a soft and delicious apple pie! The prices are more than fair for a quality that's increasingly hard to find! We'll be back again and again!

04/10/2025: Great atmosphere for a pre-dinner drink. Lots of creative cocktail choices and nice wines plus a selection of interesting non-alcoholic cocktails enjoyed by my pregnant wife.
