04/07/2025: There were four of us (2 adults / 2 children). We ordered pizza and got it. The wait was very short, the service was friendly, and the prices were absolutely reasonable! We'd be happy to go again!

28/06/2025: La Cucina del Giardino – highly recommended! Great wines, first-class service, and cuisine that impresses: pizza and pasta with truffles were a dream! Overall, a culinary experience of the highest caliber. I'd gladly return – if you appreciate good food, this is the place to be.

25/06/2025: Well, we actually wanted to go to the neighboring restaurant, but somehow we ended up at Vanni. The service was bad, a bit irritating. The atmosphere was cool, right on the large square. The food was a bit difficult. We had bruschetta, which was okay, the slices were way too big, but the taste was okay. Then we had the parpadelle with wild boar. The taste was okay, but unfortunately I spent the whole night hanging over the toilet, front and back 🥴 It can only be the food. Not again.

01/06/2025: Everything tasted like fish, like a lot. even when ordering steak. The Filet mignon that we asked medium was completely raw aside from appearing cooked on the outside.

02/07/2025: Literally some of the best food in this area of Florence we’ve been here twice and had 2 delicious meals pizzas are phenomenal!!! Also the pork cutlets and the grilled chicken breast amazing. We will probably be back at least one more time before we leave Oh yeah definitely get the foccia it’s outstanding!

12/06/2025: We two pilgrims to Rome arrived at midday VERY hot and sweaty, and were kindly welcomed and immediately offered water. We ate stuffed eggplant, risotto with courgette flowers, pannacotta with fruit, and quaffed local wine plus espresso. By far the best meal we have had in Italy. And we only had one plate of each course which we shared between us. The savoury courses were beautifully divided in the kitchen and arrived at the table looking perfect. The staff were very kind. A very happy experience.

The dishes, however, were very predictable in their preparation and without grit. 'Minimalist' appetizers. Interesting but not very convincing main courses. Local wine of medium-low level.

30/06/2025: Our dining experience here was slightly below average and I was hoping for better. Our guest of honor ordered the lamb chop, which was overcooked and tough. We arrived for dinner right at opening time, which may have contributed to some preparation issues and a late waiter showing up to work to serve guests. The owner initially took care of us and was very friendly and polite. However, the owner's great personality did not make up for the cold steaks, overcooked and tough lamb, and flat and flavorless Spritz. My advice is to not arrive at opening time as the restaurant and kitchen may not be ready for a full meal.

17/06/2025: Typical trattoria, welcoming....with an intimate and familiar atmosphere....simplicity and hospitality are the masters. The food is excellent. Fresh tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and homemade sausage, very tasty... The Florentine steak? CRAZY!!!!! Really tasty, soft and succulent. Highly recommended!!!!!
