I can only say good about this place. In the street of Sovano, you can sit inside our outside, family owned, the service was amazing, the waiter was very kind and attentive, the food was delicious. I am sad we can not return for a repeat anytime soon.

Found by chance
while visiting Sovana on a rainy day in February with friends and
looking for a coffee, we ran into a guy who was opening the bistro and kindly let us in since everything around him was closed. Then, given his kindness and friendliness, we decided to return for lunch to try the handmade pici made by him and his mother, which we found to be excellent 👍

A fairly large restaurant on Sovana's main road. A bit chaotic with a large number of seats. Service is quick. The daily specials aren't priced on the chalkboard outside. We ordered creamed pumpkin soup (off-menu, €13, which I thought was too expensive), broccoli and sausage gnocchi (very soft gnocchi, but the sauce was barely noticeable), and acquacotta (good!). With just these dishes and a bottle of water, we paid €44.

Absolutely not to be missed. Delicious dishes, quail egg with truffle... homemade pappardelle with wild boar ragù and cocoa... no, it's really reasonable prices! Well done ✌️💪
