31/05/2025: We stopped at this neighborhood pastry shop several mornings for breakfast or lunch. We tried several pastries, our favorites being the mini-arancines that we received with an Aperol spritz, fresh, hot, and very tasty.

Unfortunately the lady at the cash register ruins everything, she doesn't answer greetings and is rude, I changed bars just for her. The husband is fantastic, the height of education. But the 2 things are not compatible for the business

26/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo agriturismo scoperto perché attratti dalle recensioni positive che non possiamo che confermare!! Alessandro ci ha subito accolto come se fossimo a casa, Appena siamo entrati il profumo del sugo fatta in casa… un panorama che arriva fino alle mille sfumature del mare. Qui si mangia una cucina tradizionale siciliana rispettando le ricette della nonna e rispettando la stagionalità della materia prima. Risultato TOP!! Grazie ad Alessandro ed alla sua famiglia … torneremo a trovarvi!!!

27/03/2025: The location was tranquil set among the citrus groves in the hills above Avola. Nothing was too much trouble for Alessandro to make our stay comfortable. Service was personal and very attentive. The delicios home cooked Sicilian dishes were prepared by Alessandro's parents. The antipasti were superb with a changing menu on each of the 3 nights we stayed. All at a reasonable price including a half liter of the excellent local wine between the two of us. Breakfast was generous and Alessandro made sure he knew what we would like. We were lucky to have stayed at the time of the citrus harvest. The oranges from the farms own orchard were freshly picked and were the best I have ever tasted. Similarly the ripe black olives from the farm's own trees were superb. Highly recommended.

04/06/2025: Consigliato da mio figlio Tommaso e Valentina la sua compagna, siamo riusciti fortunatamente a prenotare in questo meraviglioso posto in cui fare esperienza del mangiare bene curato da un ottimo chef. Ottima l'accoglienza e una carta molto completa che abbina sia un menu alla carta di pesce sia un vasto menu di pizze e fritti. Ho scelto per l'accasione una pizza con burrata e pistacchio, veramente ottima cosi come ottimi i fritti. Vale il posto e vale il cibo. Tutti gli altri miei commensali hanno scelto cose diverse e tutti hanno apprezzato le loro pietanze. Ottimo anche l'accoglienza e la gentilezza e raffinatezza della proprietaria. Ho conosciuto anche lo chef che ci ha salutato e conversato amabilmente con il nostro gruppo prima di lasciare il locale.

01/06/2025: Posto carinissimo, caratteristico. Ottimo servizio e personale preparato e gentile. Piatti apparentemente ricercati ma ben equilibrati e con materie prime di qualità. Pesce fresco e ben lavorato. Impiattamenti curati e porzioni abbondanti. Qualità prezzo nella media. Non troppo caro

28/05/2025: Pizzeria in the center of Ortigia. Young and friendly staff. Modern and very well furnished environment. You can see some beautiful wallpapers on the walls. The pizza was good but the digestibility of the same was really complicated. So my judgment on the food cannot go beyond two stars.

22/05/2025: First of all, I ate very well, the place is nice and clean and the staff is kind and qualified. The only thing I don't understand is the name and the menu. The restaurant is called "Sicilia Nostra", as a Sicilian I only find 3/4 "our" dishes, the rest are dishes served everywhere. Some pleasant reinterpretations like the Bottoni al gambero rosso.....but not much of Sicily. It's a shame because for the price paid I would have liked more courage.

17/05/2025: We were there for dinner. We opted for the three-course menu. The food was very good, the service friendly. It was very good value for money. We'll be back!

03/05/2025: Very unique and classy place surrounded by nature. We ate in a beautiful room carved into the rock. Everything was very good from starter to dessert. The impeccable service with friendly staff available to satisfy any request. I highly recommend.

03/05/2025: We ended up here because it was close to our hotel. The location is great, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The tuna steak was far too thin and one of the worst we’ve had — I had to send it back because it simply couldn’t be cooked properly. The calamari was just okay, but lacked flavor. The pasta with clams was decent, but that’s a dish that’s hard to get wrong. Bread was also below average . The house white wine was also disappointing compared to other places we visited. Overall, we wouldn’t return, as there are many better options nearby.
