03/05/2025: It is clear from this that reviews are for fools but justice must be done here. I celebrated my 39th birthday and it was one of the best I've ever celebrated. The owner of the house is a good man, he doesn't use French words AND IT DOES VERY GOOD because he doesn't make fun of you. Its answer lies in the quality of everything it offers you. 20/04/2025: After two years, I returned and what can I say... The place remained the same if not more beautiful. Placed with Mr. Antonio very kind, welcoming and always ready to satisfy our needs. 03/05/2025: Sembra poco più di un forno, in realtà ha un’ampia gamma di prodotti tipici, salati e dolci e anche di piatti di gastronomia. I più qui comprano per asporto ma ci sono anche alcuni tavoli (pochi) per appoggiarsi e mangiare sul posto. I prodotti sono molto casalinghi, senza raffinatezze particolari o moderne: qui si guarda soprattutto alla sostanza del prodotto, più che all’estetica e alla presentazione. In zona è famoso per gli Arancini ma a mio avviso i prodotti forti del locale sono altri. Trovate pizza, sfoglia, impanate, focaccia, scrocchiarella ripiena caponata, verdure. Prezzi davvero modici. Se vi capita (perché non c’è sempre) provate il torrone al cioccolato. Servizio gentile nonostante la grande e continua folla. Il locale è facile da raggiungere: si trova nel cuore di Ortigia. L’intera via in cui è situato merita una visita turistica: è una strada tipica per l’architettura e anche ricca di piccole botteghe artigiane e negozi tipici.

27/04/2025: J’y ai mangé de très bon arrancini, l’ambiance dans la petite rue est très sympa. Je suis tombé dessus par hasard et je ne regrette absolument pas. Belle découverte à Syracuse.

02/05/2025: Cibo scadente, servizio lentissimo e lunghi tempi di attesa, prezzi alti (guardatevi dalla vecchia quando vi fa il conto) un antipasto per 4 (unico piatto) al prezzo di 4 singoli antipasti, 2 litri di acqua 7 euro.

07/02/2025: Not recommended, the lady owner is crafty, the place is very expensive, the quality is nothing special, the environment is unhygienic.

08/07/2025: Honestly, we had a really good time. We worked remotely there from breakfast until sunset. They let us charge our laptops and delighted us with several well-prepared, fresh seafood dishes. Close to the Lido di Noto, you'll find slightly higher prices, but the beautiful view and friendly staff make up for it.

06/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant on the sea, welcoming and friendly staff. Satisfied with the food, excellent fried food and super good sandwich. Excellent waiting times. I recommend this place and the octopus sandwich, really delicious.

10/04/2025: Horrible experience. I had booked by telephone to occupy the place for an 18th anniversary of the following year, they had asked to confirm on WhatsApp by sending the surname, which we did, and then we would have agreed to be present. Today we called, asking if we could come to book and leave the deposit and the operator's response was: "But that day is already occupied, a family came to leave the deposit, we thought it was you". They didn't ask for their surname, which they had, and they didn't even immediately admit guilt, stating that they can't do anything now. After this experience I do not recommend it and I clearly consider it unreliable, with unserious operators.

09/02/2025: A beautiful location outside the town centre. The pizza was excellent and the staff (including the owner) were very friendly. Venue upon reservation for parties and events. Highly recommended.

21/06/2025: I ordered a birthday cake with the specific request of chantilly cream and fresh seasonal fruit. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed: the cake was prepared only with strawberries, the alternative was fruit in syrup. I tried to remedy the situation by asking to replace the fruit with strawberries. When I picked it up, however, I was told that strawberries were not available and I was only offered fruit in syrup, lemon or strawberries as alternatives. Giving 1 star for the service is a must: the management of the request and the communication were terrible. The cake itself deserved 4 stars for the taste, but the overall experience was ruined by the lack of attention to my requests and the lack of professionalism. For a Sicilian pastry shop, especially, not offering fresh seasonal fruit and managing orders so badly is truly disappointing. There is a long way to go to improve, otherwise the way forward is to close.

31/05/2025: The food was incredible. The buttered noodles were a little overcooked... but the waiter was really nice, a real Tucuman. I would come back a thousand times!

18/06/2025: Calidad de la comida enlatada. El vino estaba bien. El pescado no estaba muy fresco y no estaba bien cocinado. No se recomienda. El vino era bueno. Servicio bien

10/05/2025: I ragazzi sono simpatici e super accoglienti! Il posto è dentro al mercato, piccolino ma con tavolini e sedie comode. Il pesce è freschissimo, c’è una scelta abbondante in base al pescato del giorno. Veramente consigliato! Se volete mangiare pesce fresco, bere un bicchiere di vino e assaporare l’aria di mare e l’atmosfera del mercato, è il posto che fa per voi! :)

12/07/2025: To forget. I booked a banquet for 50 people well in advance, choosing it specifically for the beauty of the exterior. Three days before the event, I was moved to another area of the villa due to the addition of other guests to another event on the same day. I accepted, understanding the situation. The very morning of my event, I received a call to inform me that over 100 people had been added to the other event and that I would no longer be able to use the exterior. This forced me to move entirely to a venue with no exterior and completely different from the vision I had envisioned for my event, which had been organized down to the last detail. You can imagine the stress, anger, and frustration I faced on a day that was supposed to be one of celebration and serenity. I've never seen or heard anyone tell me they had to change venues or even days (because I was even advised to change days, but the reason was my own, not theirs!), despite booking well in advance, giving priority to another event with more people, and completely ignoring the requests we had agreed upon from the start. Moral of the story: at 1:00 PM that same day, I had to completely reorganize an event elsewhere.

29/06/2025: Terrible service offered by the place. I've never seen anything like it, there were no napkins at the table, not to mention the drinks were all served hot. Highly not recommended!!!!

25/05/2025: I didn't stay at the hotel but only had breakfast so my opinion is partial. Good guys but they seem to me not very prepared for the bar service, I found them (awkward) unprofessional. A nice bar 🍸 done with style a bit cold the welcome for a structure of this kind it takes much more professionalism a smile 😅 😀 never hurts! Good croissant cappuccino district is not just putting milk in a cup the technique is missing! For the rest I reserve the right to try again in a few days to share my experience with everyone and I'm not an improviser. SQ

01/05/2025: In response to your response on the review prior to mine. We didn't question your team, if you read the review carefully I wrote that the staff was good and the food was good. You must pay attention to what I wrote, namely that the menu is unclear: if you write to me drinks and wine INCLUDED it means that I can ask for as much as I want otherwise you would have written "ONE GLASS OF WINE INCLUDED". It is obvious that we were shocked when the bill arrived, it should have been €27 per person and instead it became €40 (and the difference is not €7 but €13 per person). Premise. Each table was made up of more or less 6 people and the bowl of wine you put at the table was only for two. I would like to underline that my family was NOT intoxicated by the use of alcoholic beverages, NO ONE attacked or surrounded the female dining room maître d', they simply tapped her on the shoulder because she turned around while she was talking to a customer so I would say that we didn't even jerk her, in fact it was she who got agitated and we told her to calm down. Furthermore, I don't see that I didn't pay the extra, in fact I think we even gave more than we should have. I hope that my review was useful for improving yourself because you have to accept even negative reviews, not just the rosy ones and I don't think I was the only one to have written one.
