02/06/2025: Gli arancini più buoni che abbia mai mangiato in Italia e in tutta la mia vita. Imbattibili. Anche i gelatti sono deliziosi.

31/05/2025: Deludente consumazione al tavolo, in un contesto poco curato ed edificante. Camerieri che trasportano vassoi di dessert, da un locale ad un altro, senza una copertura, alla merce delle defecazioni degli uccelli. Tavolini poco puliti, pavimenti pieni di sporcizia varia, che provoca la discesa delle terribili colombe, portatrici di malattie. Presenza esigue nei piatti portati, di mandorle, e con surplus economico, se richieste. Una vera vergogna!

04/05/2025: Bar Italia in Ficarazzi is a true point of reference. Everything is good from sweet to savory. An ideal place for a pleasant break at any time of the day. Highly recommended!

The climb to the Torre di San Nicolò — with steep stairs that can be tackled with a little care — leads to a panoramic terrace that offers an unparalleled view of Palermo. From up there you can clearly see the Church of San Giuseppe dei Teatini, the Teatro Massimo, the cloistered monastery of Santa Caterina, Casa Professa, Porta Nuova and, in the distance, the Foro Italico. The presence of the ancient bells adds charm. A white statue of a woman with torn clothes, created by a contemporary artist, is particularly striking: a strong and symbolic image that represents the city, wounded and neglected, but still proud. A work that invites reflection and forcefully recalls the need for restoration, not only of art but of the city itself. A place where history, art and civil conscience meet in an authentic way.

16/05/2025: What a great experience in that restaurant! We visited there when it was off season so the place was empty, which almost made me turn around but thankfully I didn’t. That’s as real authentic Sicilian experience as it gets. 0 words in English on the menu or the server ( I believe it was the owner) so annoying entitled tourists this is not for you. The food was just amazing all around. Slow service as expected for a home made meal, but worth every second.

15/05/2025: Finally we had a good homemade meal after trying bunch of “ local “ restaurants that ended up being tourist traps. I loved everything here. Owners were really nice . I highly recommend this place.

13/04/2025: Except for the very small but welcoming room, nothing commendable. Appetizer of cheeses from commercial delicatessen with a teaspoon of onion cream.....pizza with tomato poured from a bottle without taste and unseasoned....prices not adequate for how little tasted......

22/03/2025: The food was very tasty! Try the orange cream for dessert. It doesn't seem that comfortable at first, but don't let that put you off. The owner is very nice and you can tell that it is her passion.😊

21/01/2025: They close at 9PM not 9:30 which is what Google said. I got a pizza to go. Solo pizza was available as they were closing soon. Excellent pizza for 8-euro. Recommend

12/01/2025: Very small pizzeria and restaurant run by the owner. The prices are absolutely correct and the order comes to the table very quickly. I paid 17 euros for the pizza, 1 beer and coffee + grappa. The facility is simple but clean, I can only recommend it.

17/05/2025: Very run-down and dated hotel, the photos on the website do not correspond to the current state of affairs. Very dated furniture and very noisy doors. Upon arrival the fan in the bathroom did not work, which was also blind, repaired the next day, a light bulb was missing in a lampshade, the air conditioning only worked at maximum, a constant background hum could be heard in the room. Very poor and poorly cared for breakfast. And I had taken a superior room...what can I say, to be avoided.

18/05/2025: Very nice bistro with comfortable summer terrace. The owners and staff are very kind. Fast and courteous service. We had more than one breakfast around Palermo and I must say that their cannolo is the best I ate in Palermo, made on the spot with very fresh and tasty ricotta and a crunchy and crumbly wafer. A wide selection of equally good pastries. Stop by, it deserves all 5 stars. Well done!!
