16/02/2026: Nestled between the courthouse, the Capo market, and a stone's throw from the Teatro Massimo, this bar comes to life in the evenings, offering a menu of "gularia" (sweet pastries) for anyone craving something sweet. I had a truly delicious pistachio cream krapfen, as well as a Carnival chat. I'll definitely be back to try the croissants.

01/02/2026: Unhygienic, unprofessional, and overpriced Unfortunately, a very bad experience. One star is actually too generous. There are no prices displayed anywhere in the bar; 4 cannoli cost €20, which seems extremely unprofessional. Furthermore, the bar is extremely overpriced and charges different prices – tourists obviously pay more than locals. The pastries to go were handled directly with bare hands, without gloves or tongs. After I pointed out the lack of hygiene, I went back to the bar with the pastries and asked for replacements. The employee (an older, overweight, bald man) initially denied it. Only when I became more assertive did I receive new pastries. The way he handled my criticism was unprofessional and disrespectful. Unfair prices, poor hygiene, and terrible service. This bar should definitely be avoided.

I hope it was just the pastry chef's oversight in using the wrong cream, not mascarpone; this acrid flavor resulted. I reported the inconvenience by phone and accepted the apology.

I change seats, arrive half an hour later and they serve me even though they were about to close... I ask the owners to be more careful about the staff they hire because, with some employees, they lose customers... I, for example, will never set foot in there again.

Access to the tower is via a somewhat narrow spiral staircase, which may cause some panic for those who struggle with narrow passages. The panoramic view and guided tour by the cooperative staff are excellent.

I've attached a photo above where I ordered a Diavola, but a mushroom ended up in the pizza... and I'm allergic. You can imagine my evening sitting in the bathroom. Happy Saturday evening, especially to Mr. Torregrossa.
