11/05/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo posto grazie ad alcuni video sui social. Quando siamo arrivati non c’era fila, ma tempo di ordinare e si era accumulata un po’ di gente in fila in attesa di entrare. All’interno si possono trovare tantissimi dolci, noi abbiamo preso il cannolo. Vengono farciti al momento, ricotta molto buona e si può scegliere come guarnirli (cioccolato, pistacchio, arancia candita). I cannoli sono giganti. Li abbiamo trovati buoni, ma a parere personale preferisco il guscio di pasta più spesso e più saporito. Prezzo del singolo cannolo €4. Consigliato 👍🏻

07/01/2026: I went to Bar Alba a month ago and found it much improved. The outdoor spaces are well-organized, and the lunch was pleasant. Ordering was easy thanks to a kind lady who guided us through our choices. The tablet found in every place allows you to add whatever you want to your order. Recommended. I'll always be back. Today for lunch I had tagliatelle with ricotta, artichokes, and pecorino. There weren't any tagliatelle, so I chose linguine. It's a shame, I would have preferred fresh pasta. It was just a little undersalted, but it was good. The dish was a little cold. I'd recommend warming the serving dish. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

01/02/2026: Unhygienic, unprofessional, and overpriced Unfortunately, a very bad experience. One star is actually too generous. There are no prices displayed anywhere in the bar; 4 cannoli cost €20, which seems extremely unprofessional. Furthermore, the bar is extremely overpriced and charges different prices – tourists obviously pay more than locals. The pastries to go were handled directly with bare hands, without gloves or tongs. After I pointed out the lack of hygiene, I went back to the bar with the pastries and asked for replacements. The employee (an older, overweight, bald man) initially denied it. Only when I became more assertive did I receive new pastries. The way he handled my criticism was unprofessional and disrespectful. Unfair prices, poor hygiene, and terrible service. This bar should definitely be avoided.

20/12/2025: Unfortunately I will never go to this place again, the food is poor. I ask for a lumberjack toast and they bring me another toast that had nothing to do with the menu. I ask to change it and I see the black guy in the kitchen complaining and then he was also rude to his colleague, who poor thing was alone. Another thing is, on the weekend, get more staff.

31/08/2025: As soon as you reach the first-floor dining room, you'll realize just where you've landed! A breathtaking view overlooking the sea! The terrace is surrounded by glass, giving you a nearly 360° view. The service and bill are excellent, and the quality and presentation of the dishes are truly marvelous! The wine selection is extensive, and the open-view cellar is beautiful!

14/12/2025: We bought a truly awful cassata... it had a lemony aftertaste. I'm sorry, but it was unimaginable... the organic waste bag knows something about it!

21/05/2025: The Bar del Viale in V.le Michelangelo-Palermo is an excellent bar that I have visited often and willingly, for breakfast both at the counter and at the table, I enjoyed a delicious coffee with my wife, there was also a tasting of the rotisserie with good quality products, so we can say the same with the pastry shop with typical Palermo products of excellent quality, coffee, cappuccino of super quality, I found the table service a little less effective in serving immediately, even if the staff was very kind and helpful, nothing to say, the environment I must say very quiet and clean, a place frequented by people of all types from the worker to the occasional passer-by, from the regular customer to people who go specifically to taste their specialties.
